Tubby, thanks for that info..maybe had Jim noticed these signs when mom had one just prior to christmas he might have gotten her to the hospital that much quicker..
Mary, same thoughts about my grandchildren, won't be that many more years they'll want to travel with us..enjoy while you can..sounds as though you have everything worked out..makes for a good trip..
Stacey, yes the large one in Barrie, but now each and every room is filled with beauty..remember when we went to Meaford and that pretty little gazebo I hummed and hawed about buying and then you saw it was sold..well they have one almost same, little prettier, went to look at the price..omg $1,000. nope won't go there this year..
Linda Kay, thanks for letting us know about Audrey..she d-mailed me and said she was off to bed...prayers Audrey for speedy recovery...
Got home last night and didn't take time rest, into work clothes and outside I went...was 9pm by the time I called it a night...I dug up about 30 plants for Cindy here at the office, a novice gardener...cut the back lawn, did some cleaning of dead grass (thanks to Sailor) and in my flowering crab I notice 2 nests of worm infestation, burnt them, yuk, not nice to burn these little creatures but it's them or no flowers this year...
Right along the fencing I had put sheets of tar roofing so that I'd neve have to week, worked around the hops I had planted..last night I noticed they worked themselves under the sheeting about 3 ft into the grass so now it's another area I'll have to clean...just cannot believe the growth..one morning a plant is 2" and the next morning almost 4"...although I'm thrilled I don't want to 'wish' the season away...
so what are you all up to today, anything special

Jeff has every instrument imaginable, he love to play..it's his way of coping with the pressures of his job..know when he comes on the weekend he'll have a guitar..always does..his love is classical..
As for Kyle, going to make an effort in getting as many sponsors as I can..apparently the local newspaper will do an article on him..
Good morning,
Just in for a quick visit and on the run. Had meetings at school already, and back for more shortly.
Tubby, in February, I was having problems. And the only sign was my tongue! They said I had a T.I.A.....transiant blahhhhh blahhh...can't remember...but long run...a mini-stroke. The right side of my tongue was totally numb, and my speech was off. I had slight swelling in my right hand, which happens to me on occassion. So be very careful everyone if you get those symptoms.
Waving hello to everyone.....Betty, your energy amazes me. I read all you do...and I need a nap!
Have a good morning, going for quick coffee and back to the school.
Debbie
LindaKay missed your post earlier..guess all of us have been affected in some way with stroke issues and also cancer issues...

I learned that when I involved a grumpy, nosy old lady in some choices for pictures in a museum exhibit, it made her very happy. We even had a few laughs.
Today was the third day that the wind has be blowing like &%LL
Wears you out much more than normal..Walking towards the south was an effort..I've got dirt blown in eyes, ears, nose, & hair fells like sand box..No wonder the cats were following me around..LOL Headed for shower..

This one is priceless....A lesson to be learned from typing the wrong email address!!!!
A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier.
Because of hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel schedules. So, the husband left Minnesota and flew to Florida on Thursday, with his wife flying down the following day.
The husband checked into the hotel. There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send an email to his wife.
However, he accidentally left out one letter in her email address, and without realizing his error, sent the email.
Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston , a widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral. He was a minister who was called home to glory following a heart attack.
The widow decided to check her email expecting messages from relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she screamed and fainted.
The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and saw the computer screen which read:
To: My Loving Wife
Subject: I've Arrived
Date: October 16, 2005
I know you're surprised to hear from me. They have computers here now and you are allowed to send emails to your loved ones. I've just arrived and have been checked in.
I've seen that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then!!!! Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine was.
P. S. Sure is freaking hot down here!!!!
What do ya think..."Is this how you picture Betty stretching before the big bike ride"
