LK... yea, when you called around 3 this afternoon, we were out on the jet skis, and he couldn't hear his phone ring... this morning, he didn't have the ringer on... if you tried to call between 5:30 - 7pm, we were sitting in my granddaughter's dress rehearsal for her play tomorrow... then after we all took Mike out to eat for his b'day. We're home now, but he's gone to bed... he actually has to go to school tomorrow... for real.
I did tell him all the happy happy wishes you all wished for him... he said to tell you all thank you... I think he had a very nice birthday.
Yep, even you too Jaye... he enjoyed the song.

I'm pretty beat myself... think I'll turn in now...

Glad you're feeling better Cody... and your brugs are surely beautiful.

Stacey... there's always a few bad apples that ruin the whole thing. You just can't please all the people all the time. Please, neice... don't let all that get you down... I know how hard you worked, and how frustrating all that is involved in something like a coop can be... praise yourself for the 95% successes, and you just have to let go of the other 5%.

Got some embroidery to do for my son today... actually, it's been sitting here to do for a month, but I haven't had time to do it. I promised to do it today and get it to him this weekend. Sheesh... actually, I keep forgetting to do it.

And then, there's still those darn boat seats still sitting on the sun porch, just waiting for me to decide to start on them. UGH

I suppose I should decide to be finished in the yard, and move indoors... but I don't really want to.

Well, not getting anything done sitting here... so, better get up.

Oh my I haven't heard Little Bunny Foo Foo since my granddaughter sang it at 3--of course she is only 6 but it was fun hearing it again. Synda, you did good, gal!!

BJ, I sure don't envy you the boat seats!! I have a wrought iron bench I need to redo and make cushions for and since pricing the water proof foam--ouch is all I can say!!!! $25.00 per cushion and it takes 6--that doesn't even include the fabric. Might just be cheaper to buy the inexpensive ones and change yearly. Of course, it might not get much water as it is on the front porch of the house. Need to watch the rain patterns for a while to see how wet it gets--that is if we get some more rain.

Cody, happy to hear all are on the mend. Strep can really be troublesome!!

Sorry Synda, I got off to watch Bones and CSI, then got back on while DH watched charlie rose, but I pretty much just wrote, then I got off to watch Hell's Kitchen that we'd taped, and went to bed

Embroidery machine is humming... sheesh... one thing off my mind.

Marion... the lady at the upholstery shop told me the same thing about the water proof foam... but, she did tell me about a trick that cost less... buy regular foam, and wrap it in flexible plastic... it's thin, and feels like that plastic that the dry cleaners use to put over your clothes. Actually, I'm not replacing the foam on the seats, just wrapping them with a layer of 1/2" foam (got 6 yards, 6' wide for $14.00), then wrapping in that plastic...
She said they use that method all the time, and it works great.
Of course, if you don't already have the old foam cushions, it can be costly... but price the regular foam to see if you come out better.

LK... I wish you were too... I'm so behind schedule.

Oh thank you BJ, I will certainly check that out!!! I have 2 long cushions but they aren't long enough for the bench. I was actually thinking about just getting one new long cushion for the seat and using these for the backs and cushions for chairs. Have electric knife, ready to cut to size. Okay back to the plastic, just the light weight plastic like you can buy in rolls at office stores? Ooops, that might not be good as that type seals to itself. I have oodles of left over pieces of lightweight batting I can use to wrap the cushions with--good to get it used up finally.

Okay, so now I have yet another project added to my growing list. HELP!!!!!!!!

Where is the coffee, I feel the real need for some more now.
