Yes he does.Ryan was an oops and if he hadn't been I would probably of never had anymore after Ash.And I had to have a hysterectomy when I was 32.Rick and I didn't get married until I was 34.

Good morning!!!

I don't see any frost on the ground and good thing, cause I didn't know it was supposed to frost again and I didn't cover anything!

I'm going to run some errands today, with one of them being to go to Mark's work and see if any of those people want some caramels. I have a lot made up now so I'm hoping a LOT of people want some. It's a hard time to sell them though. People are watching their weight and their money!

We went to O'Charleys for dinner last night with our friends. They have a 2 for $20 deal and I loved mine and Bill hated his....the rolls are to die for and I'm proud to say I only ate one of them. It broke my heart to see one left in the basket when we left!

I'm so ready for warm weather to be here. I love it outside and especially in the garden...doesn't even have to be my garden!!!! :O)

Oh Kim, Congratulations!

I'm so happy for you! Take lots of pictures!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning everyone. Coffee is on! Joyce, you sell caramel candies? You make them yourself? That sounds soooo good! I hope you sell a lot of them.
Kim, CONGRATULATIONS on the new house! I know you are so excited, and have to be so proud of yourself for buying your own home! Yes, you know we like pictures, so have your camera charged, and in hand please?
Cody, Synda, you two were up late! Sounds like you had a nice conversation. Cody, just remember, he will learn everything as he grows, and he will remember how bad he was treated. it may take him some time, but someday soon, he will make his own decisionas to who he wants to live with. In Texas it is at the age of 13. Good luck trying to keep him straightened out.

Goooooooooood morning!
Sorry about last night! I had this terrible time with my server... moving worse than the snail, got frustrated and didn't stay on line. Just to log on takes forever, went to homepage, and it takes forever more. Can't try my patience any further, if not this monitor will see the grass last night :D

Lisa, good news about the job.. hope you'll be able to find a new home soon.

Cookie, Caramel Countess!! Hope you have lots of sale, so you could play shopping! I bet your grandkids look forward to Nana's baking!

Cody sweetie, I'll check my Google mail tonight. You are so blessed with Alex, and yes, God heals our heartaches by giving us something more we could be happy about.
Have fun and be safe, please. Rob, drive safe!!

LK, one day it will be my turn to display rose pictures :( Hope to get the problems of JB gone this year. I love that old fashion Peace Rose.
Yep, could smell it from here.

Kim, you are certainly one lucky woman. Your own home!!! First day at work, your mind will be saying "Doing this for my home.. doing this for my home..!"

Robin, you know I sign up.. I see Cindy and BJ did too.. competition!!
Waiting on you all sistahs!!

Maid M.. hope your weather's beautiful and not nippy today.. doing the jig here.. off to the garden!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh waht a beautiful day indeed!! Sun is out shining and I found someone to do the heavy yard work. What more could I ask for? Well, lots I guess but atleast things are starting to look much better. I have seen some of the yards he maintains and he does really good work. Wahoooo!!

Had dinner with the "pirate angels" last night. What a blast--I never ceased to be amazed what they can come up with to do or say! Such fun.

Need to go get my car from being serviced and prepare for my trip to Gainesville. Wrap meeting then things quiet down until September.

Stay well all, will chat when I return.

Danville, VA(Zone 7a)

Morning Ladies,
There was nothing on the books today so I am off... I have not read all the posts so hope everyone is doing ok... We are getting our money problems under control so that is making me feel better....
It is suppose to be in the high 60's today and I am going to weed one of my flower beds if it ever warms up somemore... This bed was made for my dog Cindy when she passed... She has a head stone and so I said I will make this a bed for her... It is getting harder to keep as the deer are eating most of what is trying to come up... We are going to put wire around it soon and the lily's that are coming up we put wire around them for now.... Also have to get them mulched... I love working in the yard... If I am depressed or just moody I do my best work then as I babble away and talk to God... I feel very close to him when I am in the dirt... Hey it works for me... I have a ton of red poppies coming up... Will try to take a picture of them later to show you all.. They don't have flowers yet but they are still pretty......
Ok off to get dressed and play in the dirt... Hope you all have a wonderful day ...
Hugs,
Susan Ninja :-)

We just got back from the Dr, the nurse took the machine off, and we have to go back in a week for the results! GRRRRR!!! i don't know why they make you wait for such information? She said she will read it right away, and if there is any info that needs attention, they will call, otherwise we find out next week! So here we sit and wait some more!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hey Susan. Glad to see youposting. I htink we are all right next to you when we need a stress reliever. We all go to the garden, pull some weeds, (or at least we hope they are weeds) and talk to GOD! There is justt something about going outside to the garden, for some comfort! My Moms favorite song was, I go to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses...

I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The son of God discloses.

And He walks with me and He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known.

He speaks and the sound of His voice
Is so sweet that the birds hush their singing
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.

And He walks with me and He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known.

I'd stay in the garden with Him
'Tho the night around me be falling
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling

And He walks with me and He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known.

Thanks LK that's one of my favorites along with "the Old Rugged Cross"....

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I don't have any favorites, but "How Great Thou Art" always stirs me..

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Susan, so good to know you're seeing the light! Amen sistah! Money issues seems to be our biggest worry nowadays.
Maid M, hate to read you'll be on the road again. But at least it's not too far. How's your mother doing?
LK, I read it as your dad's condition is not too urgent to see to it right away. I feel your anguish sistah. You make any daddy proud.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

This will be the last meeting for this festival and then a break--nice long one!

Mom is doing well, Jaye, thanks for asking. Her mind is much better than mine but she is having difficulty getting around. Refuses to use the walker or a cane so fell again a couple of weeks ago. She will see a specialist this coming week about her knee so will know more then.

If I don't get back on before Easter, I am wish every a glorious, bright wonderful day--a new beginning for us all.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

LK, since you posted the lyrics, I've been singing along ^_^ Praise Him cause you can't hear me!! Lol!

Just got to share this awesome song too.. so many did it well, I love the way Elvis sang it. Perfect for Easter, to me.

HOW GREAT THOU ART

O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!"

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

This is an Email I received today.

READ THIS and LET IT REALLY SINK IN .

John is the kind of guy you love to hate. He is always in a good mood and always has something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply, 'If I were any better, I would be twins!'

He was a natural motivator.

If an employee was having a bad day, John was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation.

Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up and asked him, 'I don't get it!

You can't be a positive person all of the time How do you do it?'

He replied, 'Each morning I wake up and say to myself, you have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or ... you can choose to be in a bad mood

I choose to be in a good mood.'

Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or...I can choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it.

Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or... I can point out the positive side of life. I choose the positive side of life.

'Yeah, right, it's not that easy,' I protested..

'Yes, it is,' he said. 'Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people affect your mood.

You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. The bottom line: It's your choice how you live your life.'

I reflected on what he said. Soon hereafter, I left the Tower Industry to start my own business. We lost touch, but I often thought about him when I made a choice about life instead of reacting to it.

Several years later, I heard that he was involved in a serious accident, falling some 60 feet from a communications tower..

After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, he was released from the hospital with rods placed in his back.

I saw him about six months after the accident.

When I asked him how he was, he replied, 'If I were any better, I'd be twins. Wanna see my scars?'

I declined t o see his wounds, but I did ask him what had gone through his mind as the accident took place.

'The first thing that went through my mind was the well-being of my soon-to-be born daughter,' he replied. 'Then, as I lay on the ground, I remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live or...I could choose to die. I chose to live.'

'Weren't you scared? Did you lose consciousness?' I asked

He continued, '..the paramedics were great.

They kept telling me I was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me into the ER and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I got really scared. In their eyes, I read 'he's a dead man'. I knew I needed to take action.'

'What did you do?' I asked.

'Well, there was a big burly nurse shouting questions at me,' said John. 'She asked if I was allergic to anything 'Yes, I replied.' The doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply. I took a deep breath and yelled, 'Gravity''

Over their laughter, I told them, 'I am choosing to live. Operate on me as if I am alive, not dead.'

He lived, thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his amazing attitude... I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live fully.

Attitude, after all, is everything.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.' Matthew 6:34.

After all today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

Maid M.. my CRS is getting worse, but at least I thank Him for some mobility! Your poor mum, being so independant, must hate the thought of relying on some implements to help her move.
Meant to write too that I'm happy you got some physical help for your yard work.

Well, BJ.. Cindy.. LK.. Donna.. been bragging about working in the yard.. my turn..
Cleared a large bed of gingers just now. One of 9! About 4' X 6'. Darn, new growth already peeking out of the mulch. I had cut down the stems and used them for mulch every year, after throwing 2 bags of compost. That work real well, even against the snow.

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

Amazing Grace ,has always been my utmost favorite.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Synda.. that's a good one!!
Nurses and doctors were baffled with my attitude too when I had that serious surgery. I even made the night shift crew dance for me!!
When asked why I was that cheery.. my reply "Because I got Jesus!"

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

That's Right!!!!!!!!!! Amen...

Look what the dr did to me :( He said there isn't a lot of arthritis and that there is NO injection that he can give that would help. So he says NO crafts for 2 weeks. I've got 5 geeky birds to make by the 28th for my mom's bowling banquet. Now what am I gonna do?

Thumbnail by purpbutfly
Danville, VA(Zone 7a)

Oh how great those were... Thank you so much... Well I got the bulbs back in the ground that I took out last year... I know they won't come up this year but they will next... They were in my Cindy's flower bed and they were staying to wet so is why I took them out...
Ok back to outside my rest is over... Talk with you all later...
Turtle Ninga ^_^

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

I'm sure they'll understand the situation, especially if you go see them with that on. Maybe someone else will take over the project?

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

LOL, no Crissy I'm the one who ALWAYS does these things for her. Last year my feelings were hurt big time. I spent about $200 of my own money making some things for her banquet. Not one person said anything about them. Not even my mom, she never even Thanked me for doing all the deco's.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Oh my Cindy... maybe borrow Rick's hands?? If he takes instructions well.
Well sistah.. better listen to the doctor, if not your arthritis will worsen.

Crissy, you've certainly been a busy one. I understand that for Debra's RU, the ladies are supposed to be making their own hats, have you got yours ready? Sure would like to see a pic.

Susan, I just remembered I got plenty of bulbs to plant too.. Oh well another bed to get ready!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Rick is working. Yeah, a friend called last night found him a under the table $10 an hour job. A guy is trying to start his own company, had some guys working for him, was paying $25 an hour, found out they were goofing off nad not getting the work done so he fired them. So now he is paying under the table until he can find someone he can depend on.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

We have to take a couple of classes for work! Work, gardening, vacation, RU, classes, good grief! I'm very glad to take them though, maybe they'll give me an accounting class as well, and maybe I'd pass it since I've failed accounting 4 times and my job requires it

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Wish I'm close by to help you. Never made a geeky bird, but can learn.
Show me a pic of one, Cindy.
