This is a plain Pacific Coast Iris, not a Pacific Coast hybrid.

And so was this one, but they don't look at all alike.

I usually crop my rose photos for the rose forum threads, but I loved all of the irises in the background of this one and didn't have the heart to crop them out.

What a beautiful Iris collection ZuZu. The rose is also just great I can smell it from here.
We should have iris in another month.

All of your plants and photos are wonderful, Zuzu.

The first clematis looks as though it's a cross of Multi Blue and Belle of Woking. Very pretty but the second photo is the way Multi Blue blooms for me.

Thank you for not cropping that photo! It looks more like a painting - I love it.

Love the iris parade, I will have to be on the look out for some cool PCH ones!

Anyone know of a good source for dwarf bearded iris?

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Love the irises, Zuzu! Some very different ones than what we can grow here.

I think I might need to get me some of those guys, Jo Ann. I especially like Windini, and Overcast. Aurora Sea has done really well here, but hasn't bloomed yet. I just planted it last year, but it's multiplied like crazy.

Thats good to know, I'll be carefull not to plant it too near anything I might have to move.

They don't get overly large. 12-18 inches in spread.

Thats even better to know thanks,Polly
