THat is just too darn funneeeeeeeeeee!!! Thanks Trisha!
Synda Sweetie! How are you? Controlling the pains? Try talking to the doctor about Lyrica. He'd give you samples.

I wonder if Maid M. had seen this newspaper clipping..
________________________________________________

This was an article from the St. Petersburg Times Newspaper on Sunday. The Business Section asked readers for ideas on "How Would You Fix the Economy?" I thought this was the BEST idea. I think this guy nailed it!

Patriotic retirement:

There's about 40 million people over 50 in the work force; pay them $1 million apiece severance with stipulations:

1) They leave their jobs. Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed.

2) They buy NEW American cars. Forty million cars ordered - Auto Industry fixed.

3) They either buy a house or pay off their mortgage - Housing Crisis fixed.

The old rule seems to apply K.I.S.S.

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

It's okay Synda, I think we went to the same spelling/typing class......now I have a bandaid on my finger which helps with interesting typos also!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Puhleeeeeeeeeeeez don't run a marathon....... walk!!

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

I'm afraid that "Walk" is my top speed........!!

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Good Lord Trisha.
The colors look so Grecian. Love the dragon. Don't think I'll attempt tiles.. too much cutting.
Thanks for the link, it is beautiful.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Synda, if it comforts you.. know too that I tend to mispell my name on important documents. Like signing off Jyae..
it's my hand going at ultra speed, while my brains on slow cruise control.

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Yes, I loved it, not something I would ever undertake, but I have enjoyed watching Her progress on the project......Me, I need small things that get done quickly.....

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Well, looks like there are three of us in the club then!! Typos R' Us ?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I survived yesterday. Boy did I sleep good. I decided to move the mulch, pull the weeds and it took all day to do less than half the row and geez was I sore by the end. If I hadn't been exercising I know I would have been much worse. I moved my Hollyhock to that bed and tucked it in with mulch before I quit for the night. It was too big for the place it was at especially since we transplanted the big Crimson Queen JM there.

Today I am in a Landsend turtleneck and jeans. Yesterday I was in a spaghetti strap top, shorts and sandals. Mother Nature is definitely going through the change.

I took Dad to his Ortho appt this morning. They did a second x-ray on him and it was inconclusive. He said there is some arthritis in the knee, but it isn't bone on bone so there is a possibility it is a torn miniscus. The only way to tell is with an MRI, so he will be getting one and then going back. We had lunch at Arby's and stopped at Burkhardts to get some seeds. I got some sugarsnap peas and some wando peas. Dad wanted "How Sweet It Is" corn, but they aren't carrying it this year. So we both decided to wait to see if we could get it somewhere else.

I got notification that they are going to start paying the extra $25 on my Unemployment including back pay to the week after the bill was signed in February. That will be good.

Hope you're all staying warm and have a wonderful day!

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

May 23rd we have a big wedding to go to I can just see me fighting with my panyhose already.

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Guess I should try and get a few things done around here....Sean, Laura and I plan on taking Sage for a long walk in the woods today. Laura and i want to get some pictures and collect a few things for the diorama we want to make to Photograph the Trolls and Fairies... mostly we all just want to enjoy the one really nice day we are going to have for the next week or two... it looks like we will be back to cool and rain soon.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Snowflakes and 37* here today. :O(

Yesterday, 68* and sunny....

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

Well I need to get off here and get a shower, looks like a bird made a nest on top my head, and get to town,or I'll put it off and not do it.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Yes, Jaye....Saturday is my day. We'll be having barbequed chicken with the kids, grandkids and Mom and Dad. Can't ask for more than that! ^_^

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

OH Synda....does that make me laugh!!!! One of my very favorite Erma Bombeck stories was the one she did about being at the movies with the "Creeping Panyhose"......I laughed until I cried...that woman was soooo funny!

Seems to be a lot of Knee problems going around....my mom, Laura, Audrey.....
And you are right, this weather can't make up it's mind.....last year we had a warm spell, then had a snow storm on April 17.......never know what we are getting these days.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

That's so very true....global warming, or Mother Nature...or God....who should be thank????

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Hiya Cookie! You and your dad have been certainly busy planning a vege garden. Would love to try to grow corn. Shall try to remember How Sweet It Is. Yep, once we hit 50, that dreaded arthritis can hit the knees too.
And there's Laura, still in her 30's and having knee problems.

Good news on the extra money indeed! Go get a bottle of good wine for your b'day!
---and we thank God for everything :D
Unfortunately, we're expecting hot, hot summer here, if allowed to go by the last few years' summers.
To alleviate that, we might might start our own nudist camp in our backyard!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Resort my fabrics.. packed a pick-me-up box..
SO,,It's nap time for me :D
Cody sweetie, is it time for Alex to return?

Oh, Synda... you don't want to hear my rantings... I just get pissed at the world sometimes... except this time, I guess I'm turning my anger into something positive. Maybe someday, I'll rant to someone other than Don... cause, I think I'm preaching to the choir now.

Beauties, Cody... I'm not a rose grower... but I do love how they smell.

Bonnie... glad to know the minerals are working for you... keep taking them.
Synda... you do not have to take the minerals at the same time every day... take your first dose whenever ... then start taking them in the mornings if you'd like... sometimes I don't remember until late in the afternoon... but I try not to miss a whole day.

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

I took it at dinner time.......doesn't taste real bad, just like water with a dibble of something in it,but no after taste.I did it straight, like my tequila.

Myrtle Beach, SC(Zone 8b)

Where do you find these minerals?? GNC doesn't carry them.
