Grilled Chicken , Asparagus and Mashed Potatoes...quick and easy....but it was good.
It sounds good.I want to thank you again for doing that for me.
Jaye, wish you would check in and let us know you are ok.I don't need no more gray hairs.
So Trisha, what you are saying is when Mama Jaye isn't on to make me go to bed.Mama Trisha,is the one to take her place when she is not on.
Yep, it is past your bedtime Cody.....get some sleep! Otherwise, we will both be in trouble with Jaye.....
Just a little longer PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nope, you might as well go - I'm going now - that's an improvement, and I just started the minerals today. If Jaye is not on in the morning, I'm calling her myself, and I never call anyone!

Good night MAMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL...that's what happens when you're the little peep.
ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, I lost you again… I really need to look for the bread crumbs and post on/watch the new thread. That’s part of the reason this is a novel.
So, mom more or less posted this earlier, but I got the results from the MRI today and I have chondromalacia and a Baker’s Cyst.
This is likely the cause of my long term knee issues.
Chondromalacia is due to an irritation of the undersurface of the kneecap. The undersurface of the kneecap, or patella, is covered with a layer of smooth cartilage. This cartilage normally glides effortlessly across the knee during bending of the joint. However, in some individuals, the kneecap tends to rub against one side of the knee joint, and the cartilage surface become irritated, and knee pain is the result.
And this is the cause of the recent pain.
Baker’s Cyst usually occurs due to some other problem in your knee such as arthritis or even a tear of your meniscus. The swelling from this problem causes fluid to build up in your knee. This fluid pushes out the weakest point of your joint capsule surrounding your knee. This is usually to the back portion of your knee capsule, and a cyst forms. The cyst has a valve made out of your joint capsule tissue. This valve can sometimes become clogged and the fluid becomes trapped in the cyst. Thus, even when the injury has resolved, you still have the swelling in the back of your knee. This is associated with pain usually described as dull and aching. The pain is worse with prolonged walking or standing. It is sometimes improved with rest, elevation and taking pain medication.
I’m getting a referral to find out what they’re going to do about it, likely a shot for the baker’s cyst.
The landlord decided to have someone come out and work on the facet in the bathtub, when turned upside down it filled up quickly, so the leak was worst than I thought. They could figure out where the shingles came from, so we’ll keep an eye out and look for problems. He was going to come out later to take a better look at the roof, but for that matter, with as windy as it was, they could have come off someone else’s roof.
On sleeping problems, I generally take 2 sleeping pills a night, Trazodone, last night after almost 3 hours I’d taken a third and was contemplating a fourth when I finally got to sleep. I have really bad insomnia and I hate nights like that; though before I started taking them I’d still be up from last night’s insomnia. I’ve been having the “sleepiness in day/sleeplessness at night” or worse just completely wiped out, but unable to take a nap. At least with the current sleeping pills it happens way less often.
Cindy, I know I’m a space alien, but Lavender puts me on edge. I think I might be allergic to it, but they don’t test for flower allergies.
I like the red wine solution, but it only does so much. I can’t find my documentation on this right now but if I remember correctly beer can also be a minor pain killer, and no not in just if you’re drunk you don’t notice, the hops helps with the pain, and the alcohol relaxes you.
Kim, maybe they got lost like me.
Night everyone.....
Hello everyone!
I had written earlier, and it got cyber-trashed!
Spent a couple of days sleeping whatever I have off. When I'm awake, I tried to do some correspondence but can't engage my brains long to stay online!
So proud of you niece!!!! I know the recepients will be oggling over their beautiful quilts!! Did you get the box of supplies yet?? I will have to check that Del. Conf.
Maid M.. have fun this weekend!! Stay dry!! It's wet here too.
Laura, I had posted a few rooms back, that I thought it might be fluid. My late FIL had had that and he was given shots to relieve his pain. I do hope you won't go through any invasive surgery.
And it's true, alcohol can relax you and make that pain temporily go away.. but can spike your blood glucose too!! (Yes.. if any preachers reading this.. this should be one reason a diabetic shouldn't be drinking!)
Kim, you need to tell us what plans you have for your new garden. Will there be a flamingo island? Notice I wrote your name up there as Flaming and not Flamingo. Cause you're Caliente or HOT!!!
Susan, now I know it takes another turtle to bring you out of your shell!! Come on now.. how about some froggies.. we got plenty of froggy pictures.. Synda can keep you happy with that!!
Crissy and Bonnie, there is always a usurper in every family. I believe that for each $ that's 'stolen', that 'thief' will receive back 'justice' in double value. Maybe not from the victims, but from others.
Synda, so sorry to read you're hurting. Hope that right shoulder's pain won't radiate elsewhere. You might have to get an expert opinion if it don't go away. Our turn to cheer you!! Let me think of a joke when I'm back to normal!!
Cindy, I do sleep with a lavender sachet under my pillow. It smells so good, but doesn't relieve my imsomnia. Unfortunately, unlike BJ... the more energy I exert in the day time, the more likely I'm to stay awake at night :*(
So... I take Benadryl!
Talking of minerals.. BJ, I used to take chromium supplements when I was working. That would help me in the energy department. I read too that some of those mineral beverages have chromium in them. Maybe Colloidal minerals may be good for my psyche. I know you've told us about this before, think Saturday, I'll get some.
Phyllis, please drive safe and wishing you STRESS free for the wedding!
So sorry LK about your dad. But he is in his right mind and knows what he wants, even though a pace maker will be the best for him. Will certainly pray for him.. and I do hope you both will enjoy the trip to Arizona.
Guess I have to stay away more often for Sis Kathy to show up!!! Now, woman.. why did you disappear on us like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't you know that you will be missed!!
Cindy, it's not me that you should haul to Californay.. but SIs Kathy!! She needs a vacation!!!
Cody, I am so sorry I missed your calls again. Kel said he had the ringer low.. so I didn't hear a thing!!!
I am sure you've enjoyed yourself in Tehana! We all need to take a cruise in summer to your place so we can smell the scent of roses from one hundred bushes!!!!
Trisha.. funny you should suggest Kel to stand in for me!! He is actually a man of few words online. In person, he can yak your ears off.. but online.. he's very brief!! Very economical with his words. Either a yes or a no. Drawing out words from him is like pulling out his molar!! My family hates to chat with their BIL Kel if online!!
Thank you Synda and Trisha for making sure Cody goes to bed!! Lolol.. that girl!!
Later this morning, I will be accompanying Kel. He's been working alone for a few days now, and he says it's lonesome for him. I think it's also because Lola chose to stay behind with me. You all should see Lola when she's out working with us. She sits on the dash and surveys all in front of her!! Got folks to turn and point at the Chi on the dash!
Hi Tina!!
Promise to join the sane world in the p.m.

Coffee's on, juices and milk. Wheat toasts, buttered of course and marmalade. For those that want something more substantial, there are crispy bacon and sausage patties.

ok, may the turkey comes in the house if i leave the door open. she jumps on the back of the couch and watches tv.
i took pams cast off yesterday, she seems to be ok. her fat lips are gone too. my back yard is a swampy mud hole.
Well hello Sis!!! Hugs and kisses across the screen!
You should videotape May watching tv and post it on YouTube!! OR send it to ABC "Funniest Videos".
What happened to Pam? Did she fell off something and broke a limb?
Poor baby!
Think I need a pirogue for mine! My cats are learning to love the rain!
hey sis! pam fell outside of the funeral home and sprained her wrist, busted both lips open, and knocked her tooth loose. all this in west virginia. i was afraid the hospital would call child protection, but thankfully they didn't
Good morning to both of you. Hope your both doing better. Just popping in to say hello, I am getting ready for my trip to Arizona.
You both get better real soon.
LK
LK, tell your dad we'll be praying for a great trip for you both!
Take lots of pics!
Aww poor Pam.. I'm sure that doesn't slow her down a bit!!
if you have an extra pirogue, i could sure use it.
That bad huh? Might have to go cut down my MIL's oak tree and carve it out!!
It calls for rain again today, on the good side, it will be good gumbo weather :*(
frying turkeys sunday, and it's calling for more rain. gonna do a shrimp boil easter. wanna come?
Sis, if we could we would.
His brother and parents are doing a feast. We will be ordering fried chicken on our part :D
Kel's mum won't eat anything I cook since we have pets indoor!! Lol! Better for me.
Are you going to BJ's?
Wonder if Marion's grounds have become part of the lake!
sis, i don't see myself going anywhere for at least a year. we had to buy MIL'S casket and flowers.
I'm so sorry.. we'll send the bbq smoke your way.
Seriously, wish there's a way you and Mike could come. How many miles is it from your house to BJ's?
Morning all,I've had about an hours sleep,my eyes feel like little sand balls..........LOL.But can't sleep, can't wait to get somewhere to see about those minerals.
Jaye they say my pain is from the fibromyalgia, pain eveyday ,but some just worst than others.Hope you are feeling better. The card was so beautiful.
Really need to go into town today ,but don't really see that happening.....LOL.
there is going to be a court battle over pam. my daughter is going to file a petion in court today. pams father and grandmother think they are taking her to florida. i have news for them. i'll shoot them first
Synda, ask the doctor for Lyrica samples. That work for a church sister who has fibro.. I've been taking it for 3 years for diabetic nerve pains.
Well Sis, time for us to get out of here. So glad to see you again!!
Don't stay away please. Love ya!!
See me later everyone! Have a great day!
OMG!!! Don't shoot her please..
Hope the court grants Pam to you.. she needs you!
we will get pam. god wouldn't be that cruel to a child
Kathy, sorry to hear you lost your MIL, and also for the litle hurricane. We will be praying fopr you all!
Glad to see you back online!
Did you get the 7 item swap I sent you. It was a rooster tin sign, that I made a frame for?
linda, i got it and just loved it. you did a great job, thanks so very much!
WOO HOO !!! So good to see you posting CUZ... I'll be sure to remember you all in my prayers... Surely the courts will see that Pam is happy and well cared for right where she is... after that sick stunt her dad played a few months ago, surely they won't let him have her.
Not much happened yesterday to report... Was too busy to come visit here... but really just the normal day to day stuff. Just have one more coat of paint to put on the chairs... and one more coat for one side of the door, and Don can get that installed while he's off. His "honey do list" is getting terribly long. I picked up Son #3 yesterday to come help me do some things around here to pay off some money he owes me... but it was too windy outside to work, so he'll work on it today, hopefully.
LK... I'm also praying for the best for your DAD... and for you, dear sistah... nothing more heart wrenching on a daughter than to take care of a parent, and know the inevitable, and watch it happen.
Have a safe trip, and try to enjoy it.
SYNDA... and all you tired sistahs... I do hope you all get some rest soon... I know exactly how you feel...
Jaye... so, did a couple days away from the computer, and sleeping, make you feel any better? Are you finally getting over all that crud? I hope so... cause I'm saying extra prayers for you.
Morning to all those I didn't mention... sorry... but I do need to get started here... days a wastin'.
Thanks BJ, we are headed out the door, so I will post in a few days, when I get back. You all behave!!!
LK
GOOOD MORNING GLORY!!!!!!!
was in bed before 1 am. Thanks for the sausage and toast, how did you know I love marmalade with that, Jaye?
newspaper was sopped again today. but a bit of sun is peaking out there. it's going to be a great day. skiffs to all who need them, but my garden is loving this rain. April showers and all.
Happy Day! I've missed you Kathy! I want to see the turkey watching TV, at least before I eat him in a TV dinner! and mama Jaye's back! all is right with this world. too funny about Kel. doesn't like to type, does he?
oh synda, I'm so there with you. but determined to get better. I asked Paul if my insomnia is causing the EBMD (see below), he says no, but it is exaserbating it.
DON'T ANYBODY GO MIXING WINE WITH TYLENOL PM - I used to and found out the hard way, tylenol and wine do NOT MIX. Destroys your kidneys! Renal Wreck. and yes, it really helped me sleep - but don't go there! says so right on the labels.
but I adore lavender, think I'm on my fifth try to grow it. not enough sun for it I'm thinking.
wow. guess I am on the right thread, because we got us some ailments. Wasn't going to write about this, is downer. seems I've got "significant" worsening of far vision, near vision, and astigmatism. and genetic telltale markers for the beginnings of cataracts. and epithelial basement membrane dystrophy (corneal), a genetic benign cancerous cell. Well, at least it wasn't my imagination that the world was a fog.
YES Kathy, please please shoot them! with rubber bands! [lead is bad for your courtroom health] been through 3 custody battles, put me permanently in the poor house! in custody battles, only the lawyers win. when I was buying my first car, I found a baby blue with white interior Mustang - sweet and pretty! couldn't afford it. My divorce attorney bought a baby blue with white interior Mercedes sportscar from my divorce. I got to ride in it twice to court. I remember thinking, "she got my dream car from this, and she made mistakes that cost me dearly." But now, I've got my truck!! love this truck.
what did we used to say in Latin class that last year? oh, yes, "Magna Rana!" we do need more Magna Rana.
