Bonnie are you still up?
۞ Sweet Interruptions ۞120
my doc says the PM is harmless, as long as I don't drink alcohol with it. darn, it worked better with wine, too. I don't like to take it, but have to take 1/2 of one tablet frequently. lately, 1/2 isn't working. a few stressful nights, 1 whole one didn't work. I may have to go back and ask him what to do. it's hormones - i'm finally post menapausal. been doing this to me for six years now. sleepiness in day/sleeplessness at night is one of the things that really put me out of full time real estate sales. this financial stress isn't helping.
yeah, I'm still up, we crossposted.
CRS?
Well I've been going through the geranium co-op deciding what I want verses what I can afford....LOL.
Bonnie, CRS = Can't Remember S%*#......
Hey Synda....how you doing tonight? Wish I could stay up and talk with you guys but i am about to drop so will have to catch you next time.....both of you try and get some sleep.
Have you ever tried Melatonin ?I take that. It's over the counter.Tonight I fell a sleep watching TV so that was a nice nap ,for me to be up for a bit.
ok, now you've gone and done it. there's geranium co-op? on blast, I promised myself no nothing until I plant my "ladies in waiting" line. oh, oh, but I love geraniums! now I gotta go looky loo.......
Trisha thought you were going to bed!
actually, yes I have tried it. it worked well enough, and no drowsiness the next morning. I never remember to take it, though, don't you have to take it a while before it works? what am I saying, I have to do that now with PM, too. argh
After I take the PM for a while then they start making me hyper instead of sleeping. And no I think the melatonin works about as fast ,maybe I'm up for about an hour after I take it.
Well maybe one of us can remind you at a certain time...........Bonnie go take your pill !!!!!!!!! NOW......LOL.
What is bad for me ,is when I can't sleep ,I shop. You can't believe the plants and bulbs I have coming....LOL.
yes mom. might as well. I can't remember anything about geraniums at the moment.
say, when I went to PDN Monday, Jeremy and I got to talking about weeds. he gave me names for most of the ones there that I asked about. one I have a lot of is a wild geranium. pretty enough bloom though tiny, but BOY is it invasive. hence, a weed. and the ones with the seed that "explodes", he told me that one, but darn if I can remember it.
I'm not making sense. I'm going to bed. night night all. NO SHOPPING. Planting tomorrow, but only AFTER I finish the tax stuff for the accountant.
Night sweetie ,get a good rest.I'm right behind you as soon as I make the coffe pot for morning for Rick.
Morning Ladies.
My My... you girls were up late...
Bonnie and Synda ... your doctor won't tell you about this... and you can try it if you want... but I'm going to preach this till I die... COLLOIDAL MINERALS... your body is starved of the minerals that you aren't utilizing well. It just happens when you get older, part of menopause. Try it... it can't hurt you ... just don't take too much... some minerals can be harmful if taken in large doses... one ounce per day is plenty... taken in the morning, you'll have more energy, and will sleep better at night. Should only take about 3 days to see serious results.
I shouldn't have gone to bed so early last night... woke up at 4:30, and couldn't go back to sleep.
BJ,I will look for them to,went to sleep at 4:30 and back awake at 6:15.But DR check not menopause yet here, but I do have Fibromyalgia. And I'm willing try anything.
Too tired to make breakfast, but there is cold pizza and OJ.,that's what I'm having....LOL.I guess it's still the kid in me.
Go to GNC or any health food store... ask them for COLLOIDAL MINERALS... it comes in a bottle, kind of looks like a bottle of wine.
It comes in flavors now... back when I took it, I had to mix it with juice... but now I think you can drink it straight.
JUST ONE 1oz shot glass is all you need in the mornings.
And, Synda... you can begin peri-menopause as young as 30... but most women ignore those symptoms till they get too bad to handle...
I know the DR checked my blood for a couple thing,I had no Vitamin D and Growth horomes and B12 so I'm taking those.
And I don't sweat normally,but if I do I don't hurt as bad.Weird.
This winter has just about killed me with hurting soooooo bad.Anything under 60 and I'm in misery.Still hurt at 60 and up ,but can tolerate it.
Every woman has different symptoms... mine was sleeplessness, and night sweats... and general grouchyness... and I couldn't take the hormone pills the doc prescribed... had serious reactions to them.
And old black woman, retired nurse, is who put me on to the minerals... she said the doctors won't tell you about them, because they don't get a kick back from the drug companies. She saved my life, and my relationships... my kids threatened to put several states between us if I didn't do something.
I was only 35 years old.
Come to think of it... I think I'll go today to get me a bottle of them... Every spring I feel a bit run down from all the spring chores that I do... I haven't started on them this spring yet... but I need to.
Morning all, been up for a couple hours now, didn't know ya'll were here so early or I would have joined ya. I'm always to bed very late and up very early.
Trisha, sorry to hear about your uncle. He will be in a better place as is my cousin.
Thought this little saying might give everyone a tickle.
Subject: being a woman
Be the kind of woman that,
when your feet hit the floor each morning,
the devil says "Oh Crap, She's up!"
Heading in to make dh's lunch. Talk later.
LOL... Robin... too funny...
robyn - prayers for you and your family..I'm so sorry for your loss.
Don and I had a light bulb moment this morning... LOL
We have been wondering why our weather station here shows that our temperature drops every morning around 8:00 when the sun starts coming through the windows. It's even colder in the house about that time...
Well, we figured it out this morning... that's the time the sprinklers on the flowerbeds go off next to the house. Our temp gauge is on the house, and the sprinklers pump the cold water out of the lake. DUH...
What a great job Tracy Is this your first ones or have you done this before You did good
Hugs
Kim
My 2nd-4th ones:) Thanks Kim-It's Stacey BTW;)
Kim, she is a newbie to sewing, and it just comes so natural to her. She has done a wonderful job at the sewing, and all that clipping!
Morning everyone.
Bon, if the half or whole tylenol PM does not work for you, try taking 2 of them, but go and get some of the coloidal minerals Bj is talking about. They will help you.
Coffee is on!
LK
Look what I have about to open!
it is a peace rose
Tinky what wonderful quilts!!! I just knew you could do it--glad to see you sewing and enjoying it .
Well we are under flood warnings and indeed some roads around here are flooded--thank goodness we are up on high ground. Rains to continue today and tomorrow. I certainly hope it clears by Friday as I babsit the granddaughters again and they love being outside. Not complaining as so does the grandma.
My deepest sympathies to those who have lost or losing family members. Sad though it is, it is so much worse to see them linger and suffer. Been there done that.
Yikes, I hate hearing about all the trouble everyone is having with their sleep. Lately I could sleep through anything!!! Of course hearing the rain helps a great deal.
Well off to doing some constructive work today--I hope.
OMG I am so Very Happy I just heard from My Lawyer and as of today we will close on April 9th . I was just outside digging up my plants

KIM !!! YAHOO!!! Congrats, SIS.... you can do it.!!!
Marion... those minerals wouldn't hurt you any either, sistah.
Fairy Fingers... you're a natural... you should have been sewing all along... Those are Wonderful !!!
Had vacuum problems... so had to take it apart (again)... found a filter I didn't even know was there. Washed it, and having it drying in the sun...
I'm about ready to start painting... but since everything has sat so long I have to wash all the dust and stuff off of them before putting any paint on them.
Back to work...
Congratulations on the closing of your house! Way to go!!!! I know you can do it!
