Tn. gets tornadoes accross my end of the state, all the way past Nashvile! We've gotten some doozies! I just hope none comes while I'm in the hospital! If I'm gonna be blown away, I want to be at home!
Best/ worse/ ? did you learn today? #95visit with friends..
Audrey won't be long will it before you have surgery..prayers will be said for you 'sweetie'..won't be long you'll be up step dancing with that beau of yours..
1 1/2 hrs. left to this week, it's absolutely beautiful out there, can't wait to get home...as much as I know - NO RAKING- it's exactly what I'm going to be doing..
Decided before heading home I'll drop in to Cuts and get a perm and haircut..make me presentable..
Betty I am tired today, and I hate getting that scared. A bottle of Bourbon would be great! Just a shot would be fine though, I kinda got in trouble w/ Dave last Saturday so staying at home this weekend. He has to work anyway. Oops!!
No kidding Audrey, I hear ya girl! I'm praying for you by the way.
Got to be presentable to rake! I need a hair cut and coloring, Dave made himself an appt for today at 4, do you think he would wait until Saturday so I can get my hair done at the same time? NOOOOOOOOO
Doe41, oh please don't mention tornadoes near Nashville. I'll worry about my son and my grandson way more than I usually do! But keeping you all in my prayers.
Audrey, praying for a safe surgery and a very quick recovery for you!
I got 2 1/2 hours to go for the workweek. My students are finishing computer projects and I've been working on lesson plans. One more week and we have Spring Break! YES!
I'll try to pop in tonight to see what's going on.
Betty, if you find any beads, I'll gladly take them. Then I can make you something special!
love to all, julie

Hi!!
Oh My gosh, i have been running around for Steve. LOL, don't know what up with him, he keeps forgetting stuff lately. Think maybe he just wants me outta the house? hmmm.
Today, he went to get his new glasses and dropped a set of keys so I now will have to take a drive and get them, ahh and don't you know i will be traveling right by JoAnns, little giggling here, you know where I'll be going on the way home!
Oh my gosh, Betty don't over do it on the raking, keep in mind raking arobics..little to the lest, little to the right..and center, and breath.
Spent all afternoon in the front yesterday, whew a ton of clean up and now on a roll. Today too cold, only 30's. So i am real happy your weather is finally nice to be outside.
Audrey, will be keeping you in thoughts and prayers...
Crissy, so sorry you didn't get much sleep due to weather, hope the day goes better.
Carol, Thanks about my baby rose. I am really excited. I hear ya on the gardening chores, thats how its been for me the last couple of years, The worst was last year because those crazy critters...but NOW they better look out because I home to run em off, lol.
Speaking of running em off, I watched a gang of squirrels this morning, wow...I was holding breath as they were chasing eachother all over the tree, jumping limbs and branches. They certainly are a trip!
So funny to watch too. This went on for about 10 minutes...LOL, thought they were fighting over a nut or something just crazy enough to make me laugh out loud.
Well, since it's so cold outside, I am going to make my sisters something for their birthday.
Thinking about pot holders and oven mit for Honee-she's a chef. And for Ginni, hmm maybe a pretty wall hanging...lol got to keep up my newly aquired quilting bug! Birthdays are in May so Plenty of time, yay, now I gott a plan, that should keep me busy.
So...Betty talked with Deborah last night, she is so excited you will be sketching Baby Riley! me too, can't wait to see.
Stacey, you have loads of fun sewing today!
Ves, Guess what??? the leaves are coming up on Indian Chief Iris's...you just know I am bursting with excitement there. That of the whole while I was cleaning the area...can't wait to see them...lol, now they got to hurry up and grow.
OK, got to run...JoAnns is waiting!
Oh Janice, your mushroom is awsom.
Julie, lots to do while sitting and watching tv...embroidery, or litle stiching, piecing fabric. Beading is always fun, um crocheting or knitting, or how about puzzles...then you can PODGE em!
ok see you later.
Hahah, Tubby, they all made me smile and laugh out loud too!
Yep, those are good ones!
LOL, I meant Trish, Your muchroom is awsom! Are you feeling better? I hope.
Taking antibiotics Trisha??? you are resting right?
Judy how did Steve make out on his test for roofing..is it something you have to wait weeks to get confirmation?
So funny Judy had lunch with Diane before going to painting class last night, before supper we stopped at Curry's which is an art studio..would you believe I purchased a little ruler used for measuring components of eyes when sketching..not the one I wanted but this was only $2. so bought it, then went to Michaels, both of us had 40% off coupons.. we just couldn't believe it, walked out of there without spending a $$$$...now see if you can do the same at Joanne's...
As for sketching Riley, I thought it might be something no one else would do and easy to ship..have another 6 week class starting on the 16th of April, by the she should have character in the photo I'm sent
Tubby, enjoyed that..like $22....
Julie, I'll be sure to look tonight..have to look for the box of wedding items I got when a store was closing..a niece is getting married and these items are costly..brand new so will share...I'm just not quite sure what kind of beads???
Judy can you help me with a photo of beads you use in your projects...when I think beads I think to the beads I used when knitting a baptismal gown and coat..would string about 100 beads on the wood and knit in about every 8 stitches...(boy could I tell you another story)???anyway, certainly will look
Sitting here quietly, one eye on the sketch of Caleb I'm doing and the other on the clock...soon have to clean my desk...
Betty, I use seed beads.
heheh, not to anxious huh. lol well it is Friday.
Yep, that is a great gift and awsom idea.
LOL, I am laughing at the not spending $$$, I was bummed, they were out of the coupons...but I am only going to get what I need. hopefully they still have polyclay 5 for 5! Scrounged up 20 and I have to find the little hinges, would love to finish my tiny door! Oh, but I did grab a coupon because I want to get the pasta roller...The coupon is not good until this weekend, so will be eyeing up some other things too.
OH my gosh you knitted strands of beads, holy smacker that has got to some serious patience to do!
edited to fix my spelling, geesh, I'm getting awful, better type slower.

Oh My Gosh!
Who would laugh at that??? It's incredible!
Breenie, is doing this techique us a Graph, I thought it was really neat, and I do remember doing something like it in school, once upon a time ago...maybe I try it sometime...maybe meaning just another thought.lol.
Are you going to give the sketch to him, or hang it in your house...There you go Betty, you have a pretty frame that some picture or sketches!
OH, editing to tell you Betty and All, Thank you for Prayers on Steve's test...Unfortunatley won't know for 8 more days! But he said it was Pretty hard, took him the whole 90 minutes, but he felt pretty good when it was over...so with some luck he will pass...keeping fingers crossed.

All packed up..ok , idea about the beads..tks Judy
As for the bead and knitting...what you do at the end of a row is take the baby wood and thread as many beads as you can on it, start your regular knitting pushing up a bead..think my pattern allowed for it on the 8th stitch, then you go on knitting, push up a bead and knit it in...etc.etc. very pretty, very time consuming..only to give it to step daughter and be told HER mother would buy a Christening outfit if the child needed one, wouldn't be needing mine...choke/choke...
Off I go for a beautiful warm weekend of working outside (hoping to) so thought I'd move us over...

Betty, I just love looking at your masterpieces. I use seed beads, also, to do my projects. There was so much to do after Katrina that I just didn't get into beading again. But now I'm ready!
You all have a great night! love, julie
