Felt a touch of nausea this morning, NO not sick, not that kind, did have another earache so guess my equilibrium is off..leaving the house and was putting a box in back shed, came out, tripped on 'nothing'...coffee in hand, had to go back in and change..

Got to the office and not sure what happened, tripped on cement steps, hit my head, knee all gowged, coffee again all over me..sore arm/food...drats..I'm an accident waiting to happen .. best I sit still today...lol

Good Morning! We have donuts here in the office if anyone would like some.

Yesterday evening I noticed some more bulbs coming up, and my iris have these Huge buds on them, and my coreopsis from last year are just starting to pop their heads out of the dirt, spring is coming!! Now if it doesn't freeze again...

I'm going to try to catch up on the threads today, hopefully I won't be too awfully busy, but I have about 5 pending projects I need to work on ug.

Morning Betty, thanks for the new room! You need to go to the Dr, and have things checked out. You don't need to waste all that coffee on your falling! LOL OUCH! scraped knee, bump on the head! Please be carefull.

Seed, Betty & All - Thank you - I am proud! For a small band they are good. DS is a percussionist...not the best musician in the bunch...but for the last number he played these giant drums....musicians - help me out - not sure what they are called ....but are his favorite.... Not sure if I'll go.....I don't have the dates for State Competition yet...just "late April".

NO, I haven't finished the quillow! This medecine has had me in the bed almost 24/7! I hope to work on it today. I can't start on the rag quilt till I finish this one!
I have an appointment Tues. with my orthopedic dr. I'll tell him my decision then about the knee surgery. LK, it's the right knee. I hadn't thought about the driving thing! I had the left one done about 10 years or so ago, It took 3 years to recuperate! And I still dreamed about it! I hope there have been LOTS of improvements since then! I probably need it redone, it has never stopped hurting. The thing I'm worried about the most is the trip to BJ's! Will I be able to go, if they can do it right away? LK, let me know what you think, I don't think I can stand it much longer!

Stacey, I make Folger's and add french vanilla creamer from International Coffee. It's GOOOOOOD!! Deb introduced me to the instant in the square can, that's even better, and it comes in "no sugar"!

I keep laughing at that 'tubby' he sure is checking to see if I'm into the bourbon sauce...saving it for special occassion...lol

Audrey, regardless of plans your health issues come first..can't keep living a life ridden with pain...think the girls have that type at the house as well Stacey but if you like a certain brand/taste then go for it..

Audrey, room is about as clean as one can get it without putting things in storage..only a crafter would appreciate all the elements to the room..i.e. painting/woodworking/stained glass etc. not to worry, no cleaning will happen, especially as I've been at class twice this week and heading for it again tonight...getting home at 11pm and up early tomorrow, no time to do so..if there is a mess, it's bound to be my mess as there is no one else to blame..that's what happens when you live alone..

Betty - don't they say the mess lends to more Creativity....

Laura (Wonderhug) you must be feeling a tad better, you've got me laughing..you and Teddy would make quite the pair..

Audrey, I don't want to talk you out of a trip, but if it were me, and I was in that much pain, I have to agree with Betty. I would get my knee fixed! There will always be another trip to bj's. We just worry about your heath, and don't need you falling or twisting your knee making it worse.

I agree-there will always be more trips, but living in pain until you can save up enough $$ to get it fixed:( Plus how much would you really enjoy it if you are in pain.....

Betty you take care of yourself, and you and Stacey have a great weekend!! We are all very envious.

I agree with the rest of them Audrey, if you are in a position to get you knee fixed I would do it as soon as possible.....we are so happy that mom had her surgery....she still has just a tiny bit of pain... but she isn't to the end of the six week recovery period yet and she is back doing just about everything she did before her knee problems started.....

Well, i haven't completely decided what to do with the feathers. lol, Just have a notion that won't go away to do something with them...So, toying around with a bunch of different ideas.

Sometimes that will bounce around my head for along time, but have wings on the brain.

OMG Trisha, you are going to town with that book! I just started reading mine. I love it, your enchanted fairies and garden items are awsom...Have you made the door yet? That's kind of what I am thinking to start with.

I have Humboldt started....and I have all the stuff for the door except for any shade of Brown Clay.....but tomorrow is payday and brown clay is first on my list! There is a tree around the corner from us, and some trees and rocks over on the main street that are just made for the door....when I get the door made I want to get pictures of it in all of these locations. I am going to have to see about getting the clay in bulk....these little packages are getting way to expensive!

OMG isn't he just too adorable Trisha...love him....I'm a thinking you have a miniature village outside as well don't you..know Judy has one started and keep adding to it..I sooo have to stay away from your clay thread...takes all my time to accomplish what I'm doing now..

Diane is meeting me at 5;00 and we're going out for supper then it's my Genesis project tonight..3 more weeks of it..up late 2 or 3 nights and in bed by 7 the others..this old lady just can't stay up however hard I try..

8:00 am - 9:30 am - cut out 3 projects as discussed

9:30 am - 11:00am
travel along the coast of Georgian Bay to Meaford-
stopping to see Wasaga Beach and Collingwood...

11:00 am - 3:00pm - Candle Factory
Nursery
Unique Fabric Store
Warehouse -OMG gardening items galore!
Maybe LUNCH (lol)

3:00 - 5:00 pm - Travelling Home - drop into a few nurseries

Perhaps a boutique or so...

Evening will be spend sitting, gabbing and sewing on a project
Stacey is bringing .. perhaps some wine and pizza from next
door

Sunday (now we get to work) make and complete 4 sleighs

. got a box of projects just sitting ready for Stacey to
take on
. painting workshop - hints and techniques

Who knows what we might add to the day.....

For eats.... we're having Turkey Dinner and lemon merangue pie

Monday more crafts and more workshops all day
6:00 pm - leaving for Barrie - painting studio..meet some of my
painting friends...

I am nervous about the drive-never been to any other country-that makes me the most nervous-if I was driving anywhere else it wouldn't matter, but the difference in currency and the border crossing have me a little freaked...

Don't worry about it Stacey....it is just like going through a toll gate....you will love Canada !!! And nto to worry about the crossing, people are very nice!!

Stacey, just make sure you have your birth certificate, and passport. All should be fine.
Make sure you have your camera, cause were gonna wait for you to post pictures.

Betty / Stacey- will she (you) pass over the ambassador bridge in Detroit?

I drove to Canada right after college....even managed to take a picture of the bridge while crossing!

I visited a friend in Windsor Ontario....

When we crossed back to Detroit one night to "party", I remember the guy shining his flashlight in the car. Our driver said "Three Canadians and one American"

The guy shined his light right at me....somehow he knew I was the American....

Probably said something with my Southern accent! It was funny....I'll never forget that...

Canadian Customs has always been wonderful to us.... US Customs....we won't go there, you don't want to get me started on that tangent!!!

It seems like you can leave but have a heck of a time coming back in!!!! Also,. keep receipts for what you bring back.
