Well, I'm dogsitting through Sunday; I don't know how often if at all I'll be on. Grandma pays well and we need the money, but I won't get much, if anything, done on the house either.

Dimmer, had had the opposite problem earlier this week; I had a full sized shovel, but couldn’t find my hand held, and for planting bulbs a full sized is way overkill. Mom bought me a gold handheld shovel, before I had a kids shovel; worked fine for what I was doing, but this is way better.

I went to get my oil changed and found out I have a leak in a line-called 1 place that we usually get our stuff done at and they said $300-500!! Called the dealership and he said $140-250-better but OMG_what else is going to suck all our money away:( Gotta call and cash out some stock:(

Woo! Hooo! will be getting my state refund soon.

Stacey, sorry to hear about your car problems! It always seems to go that way, when it rains it pours!
Cindy, glad to hear your getting a refund. I think I said this before, but Texas does not take State taxes out of the check. Just federal taxes, but our states sales tax, when you go shopping is 8%.

So far, the churches I attend had Youth Ministers not on a payroll, but volunteers. Even had pastors that have full time jobs. But they're much smaller churches.

If you're not ill, don't got to the doctor. Even for a routine check up. There were coughings and sneezings everywhere!!! When I returned, I had to crash!!! But I think I was already on the verge of getting a cold, cause I was caught in the rain one day.

Stacey, we're supposed to replace the ac compressors to 2 vehicles! Well, good thing is we're not paying notes on those vehicles.

Donna, you won our hearts with your kindness. No matter how much 'merde' (French for ----) you go through, you never failed to let the sunshine into your heart.

We decided about 6:30 this evening that we were done, and it's time to go home... so, we drove and drove and drove till we got here...

I have pictures... but, my computer crashed before I left yesterday morning, and I can't find a card reader on Don's computer to save my life... so I can't get the pictures here. Mike said I can download on his, and post from his computer... but forgive me, I think I'll wait till tomorrow, I'm tired.

I haven't read everything... but I did catch that part about Riley being born last night... YIPPIE...
I'll keep Ashley in my prayers... Riley and Nana too.

Donna... you even sound happier in your posts too... you're heart seems lighter... I'm happy for you.

Laura... my mom had a bone spur in her knee that acted like that... it should show in the MRI if that's it... hope they fix it soon for you... sounds like you've suffered long enough.

Don questioned a couple times last year when all my tests kept coming back normal... was nothing wrong with me on any of the tests that were run... I think even the doctor thought I needed mental help. Then, the last day I was sick... Don was there... and witnessed all the gross stuff coming out of me... then, he believed me... and even said that he'd never doubt me again... so far, it hasn't happened again... and I hope it doesn't... but if it does... at least he'll be more supportive.

Ok... more tomorrow... will tell you all about our trip, with pictures...

But for tonight... I'm bushed... good night all.

merde -ing here. je parle une petit peu de Francais. Randall caught me before I made it outside and reminded me we need to find all my irising receipts for the taxman. no planting :o( Can't remember the last time we got our refunds. they confiscate both Uncle Sam's and Aunt Carolina's.

Cindy - we had a California employee. CA has horrid taxes! the most complicated paperwork I think I've ever seen for the taxing. deductions were agongy: when I set it up on the computer, the computer couldnt handle it!

I'm having so much fun swimming at the Y, I've decided to open the pool early. each year I get sidetracked during iris bloom and don't to it soon enough. Last year I waited way to long, check this out.

I don't follow Dancing with the Stars, Trisha. Amazing Race and Survivor for now. Used to be glued to American Idol... well they can't fool me anymore since Melinda Doolittle got ousted. Should have stopped watching that when they pulled Chris Daughtery off.

As far as why we left.. I moved here first and was trying to escape the crowd and lifestyle I had fallen into. It was a bad way to go but I needed to do something to turn my life around (I wsa young and a single mom doing all the wrong things). When I left Max joined the navy as we were not together yet and we fell back together after many heartfelt letters from him while he was away.> I never even knew he was interetsed in me but he says he always loved me even when I wouldnt take the hints. When I left he said he had no reason to stay and joined up.. Ahhh the old story of what you would have done should you have known then what you know now, I never would have thought I would have Married Max.. Of course we both were wilder and less wiser then..

Jaye Im with you about Chris Daughtery and american Idol.. Although I still watch on occasion I dont vote anymore but like to check out the talent on the new seson from time to time. I actually watched some last night while sitting at the pc it was background noise..

Donna..now when you go home to Ohio you will go with peace in your heart and strength walking beside you. Congratulations on finding "the One" that's just right for you. Sometimes we don't see what is right in front of us. But well worth the wait!!!

Barb your absoluely right.. Max is my strength and he keeps me level headed.. We were friends for years and met when we were about 9 through our dads but I was never interested.. He was the computer techy kid and I liked the bad boy nieghbor who was nothing but trouble.. Lessons learned..

We both grew up quite a bit since we left and are now ready to go home and start fresh.. No falling back into the old habits and crowds.. Just work and raise our family..

Donna, thanks for the coffee, I think I will take a cup, go outside to watch the hummingbirds. It is a nice and cool morning here, but will be hot soon enough. I got my load of top soil yesterday, and am in the process of filling my garden area. Anyone want to come and help? I have extra shovels!!! LOL

You are one of the lucky ones like me who has found the one person that made me whole. We have raised our four kids, enjoy our six grandchildren but always know that the best friends we have are each other. There's so much to be said and it isn't often enough about just plain good clean living. Keep peace with yourselves, love each other truly and always tell each that this is so. God bless.....

LK its a nice cool morning here to.. I think 56 out there ight now and isnt supposed to get much above 70 today so I wil be able to finish mowing the yard and get some cleaning up done.. Wish I was closer I would come help you play in the dirt..

Good Morning well what is that saying when it rain it pours, Last night I went to WIS. Up to my Dads for St. Patty's day and had a nice time its about 50 miles away I got back home a little after 8 pm when I was pulling in I heard this whining noise in the back of my truck. So I called my friend up and put the phone by the noise so he could here it was very loud. He told me he was pretty sure that it was the fuel pump
wear you have to take off the gas tank. ( So as you all no I have to go 1more time to the Dentist up in Michigan 6 hour drive appt is on Friday) Scott told me that I could be driving and the truck wood just stop working ( Once I get past Green Bay my phone doesn't work) So I went to the guy by my house to have him look at it and yes that is what the noise is. So Today I got my income check back and guess what Thats almost the whole thing 750. for parts and laborer and than I was going for an oil change so they said they could do that and I will have my truck back tonight.
So I have no car and I can work on my house getting this one ready. Oh I look at it this way I will have a working truck and won;t get stranded. I think that I am a very lucky person this wood have been very bad if I ignored it. The Lord does work in Mysteries way.
And All will be fine I will just have to wait to paint house in the winter LOL

Linda Kay do all the homes have fences like that there? Just curious as to the purpose.

Lisa is better, her oxygen is back up and she's breathing better. They found nodules in her throat and her thyroid is swolen. I think the pneumonia is better. She may go home today!

Hi Barb, hadn't noticed you before. where's hillsboro? my college big sister is from Claremont. Love NH. everyone I met there was a "peaceful" soul, centered and calm. had the best time visiting the family's dairy farm and getting snowed in.

Donna, now I'm a bonifide Gardener. took one look at that last photo and said to myself, "EEK Garden poachers! away! away!"

but seriously. did the same thing myself. if I had just stayed in NC, might have met the love of my life six years later. but no, had to marry the first boy that proposed, that everyone asked, "why are you marrying him?" awoke after the wedding night asking myself, "what have I done?" it only got worse.

Randall was wise enough to become my dearest friend before proposing. morning after the wedding, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven!

He's giving me $$ for irises for my birthday. He went to my bank yesterday in the rain and paid off some of my trip expenses on my credit card so I could make some early orders. can this man spoil me any more?
