Hey Trisha,we went and got three Dutchs and one Mini Rex.I like the mini rex he is white with another color on his ears.I will get pictures later it's cold and raining so i don't won't to take alex out in it.

Cindy, I've been out of pocket on Daves yesterday and until just now. Thank you for my candles. I am just getting back into the house and I haven't opened the box yet. I'll snap a pic soon so folks can see what wonderful candle making talent you have in that back room of yours. Sweetie your envelop with the gardening for the west will be sent next week. I just bought an envelop yesterday big enough to ship it if the post office lets me since the book is a thick. I may end up coming back home and having to box it. We'll see. You'll enjoy the book. Aunt Lisa gave it to me. I've been all through it (can't remember much) and now it's time for someone truely in the west to get it.

Sweet sistah Cindy sent me these candles that are smoke elimenators. Spicey with hints of Orange, grapefruit and Cinnamon. I haven't burned one yet but believe me when my son smokes in the sunroom they'll be burning for him. Thank you sistah Cindy!!!! Hugs. And I still haven't gone to AJ's to look up Rick's mom. I will though. Well I've tried getting a pic posted . Can't get computer to cooperate. Just take my word they are adorable with #1 with butterflies (Monarchs) #2 with all kinds of good flying inse3ct6s, bees dargonflies, #3 pretty sunrise and flowers.

Well, as most of you know, we spend about 80% of our time in the basement except to sleep-I have spent the day cleaning the crapola out of this place!! Tomorrow all that is left is cobweb duty and the stairs. I am mad though-when I was cleaning and rearranging my craft area, I spilled a bunch of teeny little beads and I have the vaccum waiting for DH to help me unstop as I plugged it with pine needles and the little one I used after that doesn't have enough suction to get them-UGH!! The craft area took me the longest-still not totally happy-I need another set of shelves to get the stuff off my table so I can use it to cut fabric-that was my whole purpose in the first place of doing it...tomorrow I need to do laundry and top coat a bunch of stuff that is painted and just needing that protectant on it....then I can get all that stuff off the table too-boy will I be happy to get that done!!

Staceypoo, would you like a box of empty International coffee cans? You can use them for storage (paint and stick one of the contents to the side of it) or you can decorate for pressies. That goes for anyone. I have plenty to share with at least two other peeps.

Ooooh I hate it when that happens!! Be prepared when you start sewing. Stacey, there will come a time when you'd drop a whole box of pins :D

The show was a very small show this year. Must be signs of the times. Not much contestants, but still they are all outstanding. So good that there's not even the "Everything that can go wrong" competition, for badly sewn quilts!!!

Here are some pics. LK, there's this bow tie quilt that uses the same technique you use.

No long arm quilting machine shown.. but there was a Bernina sewing machine that Kel was drawn to. Unfortunately, my favorite quilting store was set up next to the Bernina booth, and the store sells Husqvarna.
Then this incredible quilter got me convinced to upgrade my Pfaff. Ah decisions.. it takes a good quilter not a good machine to make great quilts. I need to upgrade myself!!!!!!

Love this quilt. The Frog torch singer seems to be cooing to the Lizard pianist a 'ribbeting' love song!

I have been getting Porter these little cans of Chef Michael's dog food. It comes in a little can the size of the small fancy feast Cat food cans and has a plastic lid. They are just too good to throw out....mom and I are using them for beads and small things.....we are going to reach a point where we can't use any more....if any one is interested I can keep saving them...

Cody, there were no rabbits, nor chihuahuas, not even a rose quilt :( But there's this gorgeous rooster quilt!! It's appliqued and embroidered around the edges.
It is a very stunning quilt.

And yes, we went to Michael's too, Trisha. Their pasta maker's sold out :(

Kel says thank you for your kind thoughts. His cousin's funeral is Monday, and we'll be gone for the next two days. Kenneth's so young, no kids, but raised grandchildren of his wife's. They will miss him sorely.

Will be gone all day and tomorrow. Kel's closing the shop tomorrow for the funeral. He is taking it well as he is convinced he'll meet his cousin in Heaven.

Made headway on my first quilt yesterday. Layed it out and decided it needed more contrast. Have more than enough blocks but am making some with better contrast. Need three more blocks to finish it today. Will take a photo of the blocks layed out for your 'sisterly' advice.

Morning Ladies..

Sorry I was MIA yesterday.. I took Bella to the vet in teh am and had her wormed and wow it was a wait.. There are no appointments but its the cheapest and some say teh best vet in town.. I waited 1 hour to sign in and another hour on getting to see the vet.. She didnt need another set of shots yet, found out shes 12 weeks now (my calculations were wrong), tested for worms (clear of hook and round), givena shot for tape worms (looked like she may have been starting with them), sent home with liuid wormer and I got 30 day supply of revolution topical for fleas and heartworm... Would you belive eit only cost $30.. I was amazed! Lesson learned though I will go during the week from now on..

Weather has been cold the last few days so not alo of work was done but Th ehouse has been cleaned top to bottom..

Mom should be here anytime as she is in need of a haircut.. Max is working again and it looks like he wont have a day off for at least another week or two.. Really startng to miss him being home but I know its all for the best..

Dont know if Ican catch up or not but will try alittle later today..

Man, I slept good last night... seems like lately I've been so tired when I go to bed that I haven't slept really well, because I've woke up tired. But, last night I must have been just tired enough, cause I fell asleep right away, and I feel rested this morning.

Don's off today, after his Loooonnnggg day yesterday... and our big decision this morning is whose going to drive to Canton to pick up Michael... neither of us want to go. Gawd... we're bad.

I got a d mail from Cathy, and she needs prayers please. This is what she said.

"The winds lifted our roof off and then just droped it back down. We have big cracks in our walls, the floors in some of the rooms seperated, and there are shingles every where. We are still waiting on the insurance adjuster to come out here. The neighbors almost lost their whole house".
