Confess the stupid gardening mistakes you keep making

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I think it's "exacerbate"...
Have another drink. (hee hee) But please, NO BEE GEE'S albums!

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Oh, yes, Bee Gees! Moody Blues !

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

GeeBees were on the other channel

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

The Bee Gees are every where.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I've irrigated my share of cell phones...I set them down, forget they're there and then turn on the sprinkler system. Not good.

Thumbs up to the Moody Blues.

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

GeeBees...good grief. I must be having some of the sleeping brew.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

...and she wonders why her Peace Lily off'd itself !
(Sorry Sharon...couldn't resist!)

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

I was not a bee gee fan, but Tuesday Afternoon....lallalllla loved it

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

Mike,
It is not offed yet!
Actually it is acting a little perky with it's new hair cut.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Sharon, you weren't killing peace, love, rock and roll, were you?

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

Absolutely not....I was right in the middle of all of it.
Still am.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Yeah JD, Moody Blues rock! LOL I got to see them a few years ago. My daughter got me tickets to see them at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse. Sold out within hours. We were in the balcony, a huge balcony. The second they came out, people stood up and started dancing and jumping up and down. The balcony started moving. It was the most horrible feeling, and we were very high up. I wondered why no one noticed. I leardned later it was designed to have flexibility, and it does actually move up and down. I loved the show, the Moody Blues were fantastic, but I was so afraid we were all going to collapse into the seats below. They sound as good now as they did in the 60s and 70s.

Thinking I can get the tiller just a little closer to the fence is the mistake I keep making. Then I usually have to get help to get untangled & repair the hole in the fence.
I had to laugh reading this thread because it's like reading about myself. LOL Especially the hose that sprays me in the face every time I throw it down. Consoling to find I'm not alone in my madness.

BTW I've read that you should avoid alcohol if you have trouble sleeping! Avoid caffeine & strenuous exercise in the evening. Establish a "winding down" routine. And avoid watching TV in the bedroom. Just read an article & I'm trying to remember what else it said.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Good for you Sharon, keep peace alive. I have killed a few peace lilies, I was always mad at myself for doing that, so I stopped buying them.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Pam, glad to hear that you get regularly sprayed but not spayed. As for the sleep part, you can't remember what it said because you fell asleep. So what was that article??

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

This one is not going to die, contrary to Mike's predictions.
It will not die.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Keep the faith Sharon!

Sebastopol, CA(Zone 9a)

Moody Blues -- great! Procul Harum -- triple great!!!

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I wish someone would explain the meaning behind Procul Harem's "Whiter Shade of Pale".....

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Conquistator, your stallion stands in need of company...which one was that, I mean which band. I loved that song...was tha PH?

Sebastopol, CA(Zone 9a)

You're not supposed to think about Procul Harum's songs. Just feel them....

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

My spelling sucked again, didn't it?

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

There certainly was lots of speculation back in the days. I wouldn't doubt it had no meaning, simply something they put together.

Zuzu, since you're the Procol Harum fan, what do you think?

Sebastopol, CA(Zone 9a)

Yes, that was Procol Harum, and I realize I've been misspelling it. What kind of fan am I?

Sebastopol, CA(Zone 9a)

I don't think they know what it meant, Polly.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

and while we're at it, McArthurs Park was pretty bizarre, too.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I don't know, Zuzu...what kind ARE you ?

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Don't worry about your spelling, Louise. Who cares, just nice to have you and everyone on here. That was Procol Harum, Conquistadore .

Sebastopol, CA(Zone 9a)

Not to mention most of Bob Dylan's songs.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Probably true, Zuzu, a lot of the bands back then didn't know what they were doing or singing.

Sebastopol, CA(Zone 9a)

And most of us in the audience didn't know what we were doing either, so it all worked out fine.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Um, please don't destroy anything that I had in my memory as just a warrior with his steed at his stead. If you tell me to play it backwards and it tells me to kill my mother I will laugh until I fall over............

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Bob Dylan is a fantastic songwriter, but I just can't stand to listen to him sing.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Did Bobbie Gentry ever come clean with what She and Billy Joe McAllister threw off the Tallahatchee Bridge ?????

Pass the biscuits, please.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

There ya go, that's what I really want to hear, just good old fun, maybe stoned fun, but just fun.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

It was a body, of course.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

But didn't they sound great doing it?

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I hated Janis Joplin...her voice was like fingernails on a chalkboard.
Bob Dylans voice was angelic compared to hers.

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

Ahhh now, I liked Me and Bobby McGee

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

OK...you're right...that was a good one!
