LK-here ya go....
http://www.palmflex.com/atlas2.htm
Thanks Stacey. Is Anjl, going to do a co op for them?
LK, they love the heat. These are all dwarf varities and don't get to full tree size. The white ones have been blooming ok but the purple ones have hardly had more than one or two blooms in 3 years. I cut up all the trimmings into small pieces to haul to the burn pile and don't have a clue which is which. Also don't know if the clippings would root. Will be glad to send you some cut pieces but can't promise they will do anything.
LK... Crepe Myrtles are hardy in Texas... I have one here, and will have more at some point... everyone has them here. They are a bit difficult to start from cuttings... but they're not all that expensive to buy them.
HOWEVER, Altheas are pretty too, and are super easy to root from cuttings.
Well, my neighbor stopped me outside... then I stopped to pull a few weeds... came in and decided to take a shower (needed to shave my legs)... now, I don't want to go work outside again and get dirty... *sigh*... so, think I'll just veg a while before picking Mike up at school.
Well, we will just have to give them a second chance, and color does not matter. I would love to give them a try please?
I will send you postage for them.
Thanks
LK
BJ, what are altheas? Sounds like it is time for some cool iced tea?
LK
LK-I have no clue-probably at some point this year....
I'll go pull some of the greener looking pieces.
LK... Althea is the same as Rose of Sharon... it's a small flowering tree.

WOO HOO... I just caught my neighbor's son who has just moved home to live with his dad... he's going to help me do the work in my yard ... YIPPIE... I just called Don to tell him... and he even said YIPPIE !!!!
He starts at 8am tomorrow... then he's leaving town, and will be back to help me Monday morning and until we get it all done... I'm so excited !!!
Ok, got to go get Mike from school now... then I think we'll go get a pizza.
LK, we love Crepe Myrtles here. We have Muskogee which we bought in a 20 gallon pot and 2 Dynamite 5 gallons.
You are lucky BJ! Apparently you got help from above ;)
That's pretty Trisha. Is that a perfume flacon?
We stayed home tonight. No going out in the rain. Kel grilled some NY steaks. Had fresh mozarella, with tomatoes and basil, sprinkled with Balsamic vinegar. Healthy eating? You bet.
Still the taste of that good baked grouper with lemon butter sauce over angel hair pasta that I had last night is still on my lips!
Think I'll try to finish reading this book that has truly gripped my interest.
It's called, "From Baghdad, with love". It's a true story of a marine, trying to bring his dog into the US.
Anyone interested? I don't mind circulating this book amongst us.
Have a good evening ladies!
No Jaye, it was just an Irish Cream Bottle (Brendans instead of Baileys) that I put a polymer clay heron on front.
That is really a good story!
aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Good job indeed Trisha!! I truly thought it's a high end perfume flacon.
^_^

Have company today so didn't get on much. Ross' sister and her hubby--she got to see her great nieces and oh what fun. A few tears also but alas they are happy one.
TRISHA!!! That bottle is wonderful--geez is there anything you can't do? The heron is so pretty!!! Give Laura my love and good luck with the moving. Wish I finally say I am all moved in but still working on somethings.
Kim, prayers for your Dad and you and your family. Remember we are all here for you!!
Joyce, glad you liked the package. I didn't realize I left the slip with the website in the box but he does offer other wonderful lights. Finding things like that is why I enjoy working with the festival so much--very creative, talented artist with their creations. Just think of me and enjoy!
Debra, birdfeeders from Plow & Hearth or Hearth and Plow --whatever the name is. My birds love them filled with sunflower seeds. So there everyone know where they came from. The necklace is my daughter's creation in Joyce's colors.
Waving to all, be out of pocket until late Friday. Committee meeting tomorrow night in Gainesville-returning Friday afternoon some time.
Take care all, be safe and will chat when I get home.
Good luck on your Michigan trip Kim. Follow the speed limit please...
Hope you get to enjoy yourself knowing your Dad's well on the road to recovery. Of course, prayers will continue for him.
LK, what's a petoskey stone? Check your email please ;)

Morning ladies! Hopefully you all have a wonderful day.
Snow on the ground here in Ohio. It was 50* yesterday...sigh....
The maker of my wonderful Hurricane cattail oil lamp is Greenwood Plantation Gallery. I just love this soooo much!
BJ, girlfriend, that Beer Bread recipe is definitely a keeper, oh my. So good and what a great tip about letting it rise in the oven with the light on. It worked perfectly. I'm glad to say I didn't ruin it putting the yeast in too soon, thank goodness, cause it was my last packet of yeast! I will surely be making this bread often. Wonder if you could add in some Asiago cheese before the last rise? Might be worth a try.
I'm so ready for Spring...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petoskey_stone
A Petoskey stone is a rock and a fossil, often pebble-shaped, that is composed of a fossilized coral, Hexagonaria percarinata. The stones were formed as a result of glaciation, in which sheets of ice plucked stones from the bedrock, grinding off their rough edges and depositing them in the northwestern portion of Michigan's lower peninsula.
Petoskey stones are found in the Gravel Point Formation of the Traverse Group. They are fragments of a coral reef that was originally deposited during the Devonian period, about 350 million years ago.
