Haven't heard from Cookie, Sis Kathy and Maid M.... along with both Tinas, both Lisas, Dusty, for a few days now...and Bonnie plus Chris, Heather, Barb, Donna Vy, Ann Marie....

Well its cold here and I am thinking about going and start to work on a Tan as it is only 33 days till spring and I need to get my ears tan so they don't get to burned on the first day of work No idea when that will be yet
I think I may go look at a house today and then by Friday or Saturday I will leave for Upper Michigan for a week
I watched this movie over the week end and I thought it was great it called Fireproof Its good to watch It has to do with Fighting in a Marriage and working it out even tho I am separated from My husband it was good to watch for present and past and Dumb me being still in love with him I sent the Movie even tho he live with a girl One day I will get better and get over him.
Ok thats it I feel better No more feeling sorry for myself Life go's on and I don't want to miss a thing

Morning Kim I heard Fireproof was a great movie.. I guess I must try to see it.. lol

Just up and in the house from taking Bella out for her morning run around the yard.. Was hoping to sleep in th is morning since the kids went to a friends for the night but my step mother called and woke me up to tell me my dad is having catarack (spelling?) surgery on one eye and having the oher done next week.. Ugghhh will it all ever end?? On the up side Maxs dad is home and dong very well. We have talked with him a few times..

Max is recovering still from his dentist trip yesterday.. We were there for 3 1/2 hours and whew thank god for insurance. He had 2 teeth surgically removed and was swollen bad.. Would have been almost $700 but with insurance we only had to pay out $260 (grrrrr).. He sweat really bad and tossed and turned last night but the infection seems to be draining and he says its still really sore but better than the pain he was in...

Today I plan on getting everything counted out back in th enursery and working on finishing up a few more projects on th ecraft side of things.. I need to get organized..

Side note** I have tons of various fabrics (all kinds)that are taking up a whole big huge tote would anyone want some for postage? Im trying to clean out everything I can and since I really dont sew yet I need to clear this stuff out.. Some upolstery, stretchy, cotton, all kinds literally.. I think there is even a bolt with a bunch on it.. I just need this stuff out of my way..

I'm here...I've been trying to keep up with you all, but we have relatives in from Maine and Arizona, so we've been spending a lot of time with them. They are staying at FILs house, (about 5 min away) so haven't been home much.

Yesterday we had a big get together over there with the whole family and I got some quality Baby Kyle time. Forgot my camera, dern it. I made macaroni salad and pecan pie. They were both a hit. I should have made two pies, and I was told that many times yesterday since several didn't get any. Now I feel bad I ate a piece. But I told one of my SILs I'd bake another one before they leave on Wednesday. She's lost 110 pounds in a little over a year, and if she wants to splurge while she's here, I'll help her! She weighed 360 when she started and boy does she look younger and better!

Dusty has been really busy painting at her new house and she's almost finished so she'll probably pop in soon.

Kim, I'm jealous that you're going to Michigan, I love it up there, but I probably love it more in August than I would in February!!

I checked my hellebores and they're budding....surely gives me hope for Spring.

Good Morning!! I'm at work today, if we work today we get an additional 8 hours on our annual leave. Since I can't seem to get caught up I'll take it! I have tons of work to do today anyway.

I want a doughnut. So much for not eating "that crap" lol!

Well another hectic weekend ended... I played with my plants as I always do on the weekends and then with family and everyone being here is crazy...LOL Boss called me to tell me I was fired and I said oh yeah why?? She said it was you talking about those stupid skunks and saying how they must be breeding and all and what happens my dogs come into the house and now the whole house reeks of skunks... They wanted to bring it in but she caught that before it happened...LOLOLOLOLOL I am not really fired... But lord there have been tons of skunks killed on the road and one morning I woke up and could not breath to well and my room smelled like skunk... Well it came in with the fan in the window and boy did it stink...LOL
Oh your litte chihuahua is so cute... Make sure you keep in the house some Karo syrup as there sugar levels can drop really fast this tiny... I love his name...
Ok well I have to run to the postoffice to mail a package out and it is always busy there so I want to get back and clean up this house...

Morning Peeps !!!! Yeah!!!! It's MONDAY... the hectic weekend is over.

Oh, Yeah... I also think Cookie and Fairy Feet should get together while they're unemployed. OF COURSE !!!

Susan... I don't know what it is about the skunks... but they're bad lately here too... I think something is happening to cause all our animal kingdom to go nuts... the skunks are getting hit on the road all over and whole community smells like a chemical waste site...

Well, it turns out that Austria does have Malls... they just don't call them Malls... they call them Shopping Centers... We call strip malls Shopping Centers... and they call them Shopping Centers... so... in Austria, any group of stores that share a parking lot are called Shopping Centers.
I have to say that Mike is a very good shopper... he went strait to the sale tables and racks before looking at the rest of the stuff. He made some really good purchases too... got 2 shirts at Aeropostale for $17, an American Eagle hoodie on sale for $19 (reg. $60), and a pair of New Balance running shoes for $44, which we found at other stores for $65... I bought him a new pair of jeans because a neighbor's dog ripped a pair of his, and I also bought him some athletic socks (he had only 1 pair, and was wearing them everyday for a week, and only when he ran track). So, when he left for school this morning... he was all decked out in new duds.
Then, we had dinner at Joe's Crab Shack... he loved the atmosphere, but I did learn that he doesn't like shrimp or crab... so, he ate a chicken sandwich... Joe's is one of my fav restaurants... I love the coconut shrimp.

Well, Don's off today and when he wakes up I'm going to hit him up to help me with the compost bin... If he doesn't want to help... I've decided to hire some help... Like I said before, I need a crew of 4 strong men for about a week to get everything done here... otherwise, it'll take me 2 months by myself.

It looks like Mike and I will get along then-EWW-nothing from the sea!!LOL ANd he is a bargain shopper!! LOVE IT!! If DH needs something-he just goes in the store closest to the main door, picks out what he needs (price-who needs to look at price-weez apparently rich!!) and then is back out the door....once I realized that is how he shopped, I stopped letting him go shopping-if he needs something I get it and usually pay about 1/2 what he would've and he is happy and so am I this way....

Cookie-most of them open in April, so we will have to plan something for then...

Sounds good to me. Maybe Mid-April if you're not working. I'm excited!

I really think it must be matting season... Our town stinks also... My bosses dogs still stink from them...LOLOL Her dogs did get bit so that is not good but she will keep an eye out for any rabies ... I can still hear her on the phone...LOL

eww Little Stinkers, lol. We live by a busy highway and there is always a skunk or 2 laying in the road.

One morning, I had gone to my mom's early was walking around the yard went thru the gate to go out to the back yard and there about 4 feet in front of me was a skunk. He came around a tree. Man!!! I hightailed out of there. He went the opposit direction.

That is just to weird, Yall talking about skunks, I had a dream last night that Punk boy was outside and he was running towards me with a skunk in front of him, I didnt want to yell at him and scare the skunk into spraying him.

We have skunks down here too. Last year our dog got sprayed like 3 times! Oh, it smelled so bad. and I don't care how much tomato juice you use, it does not work! If someone has a solution for that, please let me know!

Hi All......yep Jaye, mom is getting back to normal. Maintenance was over to fix a leak in her back bathroom....it happened about one this morning....she just turned off the water in there and put down some towels. Now she is planning and cooking for the Church lunch we have a t her house tomorrow.....no more walker.....she is back in "Betty Mode"....going going going....
I have Sage today so I won't be doing much going....we did all of ours yesterday!

Skunks!! At least we don't have that problem here....we just have possums everywhere....when my nephew still lived in New York (he was highschool age) they were down on the canal and he saw a little baby skunk struggling in the water.....he took off his sweatshirt held onto the sleeve and tossed it out so the little one could grab it and he would pull in in to safety.....well the guy grabbed onto the shirt ran straight up it and bit Aaron on the arm before running off.....poor kid had to go through the series of Rabies shots for his good deed......he isn't real fond of skunks these days...

I need to find some screen wire that is metal....or at least that will stand up to being cooked in polymer clay...I want to make some Fairie Doors....I could use the art mesh from the craft stores but I hate to pay the high price for such a small piece.....grrr.

Trisha... go to Lowes or Home Depot... look out in the garden dept. for the 1/2" wire mesh... they have it in rolls and you can get a small roll for less than $5. It'll be enough to do several projects... good luck on the fairy doors... sounds cute.

HI everyone... well, Don decided it's too cold outside to work out there... he decided to take a nap... I just don't know what has gotten into him... I used to not be able to keep him down... wonder what's up? I do hope he's not coming down with something... no, I think it's just that he hates winter... specially when it's overcast and gray outside. Like it is today.

I did tell him that I'm thinking about hiring help to get this pre-spring stuff done... he said "ok"... that's not like him either... he does not like hiring what we can do ourselves...

Oh, well... I'm going to go out and get things started... maybe he'll feel sorry for me and come help in a bit.

hey y'all, just checking in. Been out of town helping a friend in need, and I'm turning right around after a weekend home for Valentine's Day to do it again.

This time it's San Antonio TX, helping a friend not long out of surgery. I'm going down to cook and clean and referee with her laid off DH that's driving her nuts. THIS TIME I'll take the computer.

Oh skunks, not good! I don't seem to have too many out where we live, lots of armadillos and possums. Almost ran over a bit possum the other night, I thought it was a cat, it was dark and I just saw these eyes staring at me in the middle of the road. They look like overgrown rats, nasty!

Not a lot going on here, working and have tons of stuff to do, just got my boss's project done so that's one less. I need to work on the address book but my eyes are tired. I think I'll start on that after I get some of those reports taken care of.
