Laura, you must be so stressed out..regardless of the situation between you and your family, the well being of any of the members should be the most important thing..a simple call to let you know how he's coping isn't asking for much...shaking my head here...

How far Laura did you say (or did you) it is from where you live? I imagine with that much stroke and a bit of a breeze it wouldn't take long to reach the coast.. are they any closer to getting it under control? going to go look up more info..

Imagine, our Trisha has my list..can't even remember what the 7 articles were but you have no idea how much this work of art means to me..I'm thrilled to death..my heart is just a pumping...thrilled is not even the proper word for it...OMG I just love it...

What this swap entailed was each participant made a list of 7 items for their swap bud to make something for them, of course you would have something in mind...so much fun because you got to be creative...

Another busy day at work, I don't think I'll ever get caught up. It takes 3 to 4 days to fix a problem with someone's bank statement, I had 2 problems I was going to start working on, on Monday. I got 6 more that day, 4 more yesterday, and 2 today! Plus I'm working on a project for my boss, plus I don't really know what I'm doing because the training is very haphazard. Oh well, the computer system only allows you to do one at a time, so here we go!

Trisha I am saddened that your family will not communicate how your brother is to you. That's just horrible and I don't understand.

We didn't get near the weather we were supposed to get, thank God! It was severe up in Northern Arkansas with straight-line winds from 70mph +, there were reports of a barn being blown off of its foundation and landed in the road, there was also a roof of a house that was in the middle of the highway, but it formed a squall line that was moving at 50mph itself so those winds only lasted in one area for about a minute. There were 2 tornadoes in Oklahoma, one about 45 minutes north of my mom, the other about 45 minutes south of my mom. The other 2 were in Texas but I didn't have time to look them up on the news so I'm about to do that. I was up all night watching the weather, I missed my calling, the power of the squall lines just amazes me, I think I missed my calling! There's a severe weather seminar in Norman OK, which is 30 minutes from my mom's house, the beginning of next month, NOAA is putting it on and the public can attend, I'm wanting to go.

Hi Crissy, glad you didn't get the bad weather you were supposed to get.....they got a bad lot near my aunt in Oklahoma, but she and all the family came through okay.....One of my cousins and her kids all live in the Norman area, her brother is out in Shawnee and I have an Aunt and Uncle in the Marietta/Burneyville area.....

It was Laura (wonder Laura) who hasn't benn able to find out about her brother......but your right I just can't understand it...

The NOAA Seminar sounds very interesting......It amazes me advances that have been made in weather tracking over the years.I always love watch Storm Chasers on TV...it is fascinating but that is as close as I want to get to them!!

Hello, I just jumped to current. Wanted to let everyone know that, yes I am fine. I don't have the kids I day care anymore so there is no time set aside for me to mess around on here.

I think we found the place we're taking. It's small and doesn't have much of a yard, but it's very cheap for around here and very close to mom's. We'll take it for a year and then find something bigger and actually have some savings.

So, we have about 3 weeks to a month to be moved and there is still a lot to do.

Laura, so glad you found a place! Now you just need to sneak over there and take pix of that yard so we can help you plan & plant your garden! teehee!

no UTI, but the doc sent me home with a prescription just in case (I hate taking antibiotics....just like most women! so I waited it out) doc calls today and says nope...not a UTI... instead its kidney stone! Grr! Now I wish it was a UTI instead! I just get to kick back for however long it takes, and drink lots of water and wait for the real pain to hit! :o( she scheduled an ultra sound for tues to see how far along I am (before I get to deliver this painful lunk!) til then just lots of water and cranberry juice :o( They also scheduled a CT scan of the kidney for thurs....so hopefully find out why it is being so annoying and causing all these issues for me....

Not really a time limit on going back to work, old boss fired me when I left on disability. He really did me a huge favor tho, I hated working for him! My disability payments stop at the end of this week...well unless this kidney stone takes its time! so must start thinking of making money soon.... I HAVE to have my garden funds! lol!

Todays best: that I stayed up late so I can catch up with all of you!

Todays worst: ran into a dear friend at the docs, he is my age (40) and was just diagnosed with leukemia :o( same guy who lost his young son a year ago in an auto wreck. really put my day and all my issues in the proper perspective.... at least with my cancer, they could just remove it.

AnnMarie, regardless of how bad our situations are person and medical you come across some who have it much worse..prayers for your friend...I can sympathize with you on the kidneys, as I said I spent 6 months 2 different times in the hospital because of kidneys..deathly ill..infact on my deathbed..so know how much pain you are in..however, think kydney stones might even be more painful..let's hope they get it resolved...and yes, know about needing money for gardening..that's what made me take a job after retiring..expensive hobby..but, a fulfilling one..

Laura, that's a positive attitude, put those extra $$ away and you just might have enough for downpayment on a reasonable house...now comes packing....that's a chore..know you already started though...

I'm so laughing Stacey..who would have thought a robe blanket would be so hard to figure out..lol...my puzzle to you to keep you busy..bring it along with you..glad your post said 'when' I come and not 'if' I come...

Crissy, sounds as though you are overwhelmed by the amount of work you have sitting there...you can only do what a work day allows you to do, so just chip away at it..do they let you work overtime..perhaps you aren't interested...


Running late here, it's raining quite heavy, Greg won't be happy, there goes his leaving today for 4 day snowmobile trip..poor Melanie and kids having to listen to him....

i was watching the show saw my two on the terrior group thought how well groomed they all look and such manors then i looked at mine and said WHAT HAPPENED HERE? spoiled rotten couch potatoes lol.
already a not so good day, last night we got a call from a former neighbor we kept in contact with, he was in his late 40's died in his sleep from a heart attack
his brother called us and said he was going through his contact list and noticed we were at the top of his list gregg didnt keep in touch with to many people just made us sick we just talked to him two weeks back making plans for a trip in the summer.
then this morning the brats at 2.30 went out side dont know what they went after but one ended up in my neighbors yard so i guess i will be doing fence repair before i go to work.
lol omg i can see you asking the guy to see his tatoo too funny now on the other hand if you saw dh omg he is covered with them you would think omg did this one just get out of prison or what lol this was his last one the neighbor did, only dh would come up with this i just shake my head.

I am so excited-I will be getting my tattoo when we go to TX in MAY!!!

And I finished my grievance letter-it is 7 pages, then adding in all email's and text messages from her, it is like 13 pages...I did email it to a couple peeps-so if you want it, throw me your email address:)

DH asked me to go to Michaels for him today!! Can you believe it-telling me to go to a craft store!! He wants frames for some pics he got for Xmas:)

What an odd day out there, know I'll be going home to a flood...torential rain at home, as I neared the city blizzard going on..calling for 90kl winds ...new computers this morning, can't believe the speed..just put my order in for a new flat screen or home..lol..well if you don't ask you don't get right...

Liz did get the e-mail re tatoo..omg showing me half his chest..lol, showed Paul, gave me the eye..wondering why his client is sending me such things....sorry to hear about your friend Liz..that is so young..did he know he had a bad heart..

I know-now that I have that letter written, I feel even lighter!! Can't wait to find a new job-how fun-a new adventure!!

Give yourself a few weeks to really re-coop, regain some of your strength .. something is out there, who knows, before the end of the month you might just be wondering why you never did it before...
