but being so short handed we have no time to work on it.
like my boss says too bad so sad lol
fil had a successful surgery he is in a rehab house right now and walking very good and has lots of hope! so now omg everyone better watch out he will bring back order to the family!

Shar, did you get the major part of the clean-up done? Driving in this morning now that a lot of snow has melted along the roadside, oh what damage has been done to the trees....I'm sure yours must be so much more overwhelming...now will you replant the trees you've lost or turn the area into gardens..I would think nowdays you can purchase mature trees from garden centers...is that your plan... side note...your pieces now have 1 coat of finish on them, another tonight and ready to ship...little apprehensive about that, but will ship anyway...it was painted with love...

The girls are so laughing here at the office..this client who is 59 just came in, dressed for summer, no jacket/short sleeves so I told him he best put on a jacket or sick he'd be..he said looking around the room 'is my mother in this room?' lol...then he points to his chest and says he just had a tatoo of his mother done on his chest...well you know me,I'm friendly as can be, asked him if he minded taking off his shirt to show the girls his tatoo...OMG it was a tatoo of his mother when she was a child, it's the nicest most professional tatoo I ever saw..I said to him as he was leaving, that he should send me a photo so I can send it to my boys, perhaps they'd consider getting a photo of me on their chest (not in this lifetime) so he said he has one on computer and will e-mail it to me...lol...if he does, well I'll just have to share...

Now see, missed an opportunity, a man willing to take his shirt off for me, there went my valentine opportunity..lol....just kidding..not my type although he is french...

Waiting for the tattoo picture.
Some tattoo's look really nice, if they are done right, but when you get someone that does not know what they are doing... well, they should leave the tattoo work to the professionals. I guess that is what lazer removal is for, or else you can try to get it covered up!

Well, I made my omelette, but instead it turned out to be a egg sandwish...layered style.

You are making me hungry Judy...long time till lunch..longer to supper, not sure I'll have time to fit lunch (eating in) as Sailor comes up the staircase, gets to the last step and is terrified to get onto the main floor..I have click floring so is rather a hard shinny surface..she must have hurt herself..in order to get her on the top floor I have to go, let her out the basement then she comes on top deck and I let her in... soooo, I thought perhaps if I go in search of a matt that has a grip to it and place it at top of stairs she might be ok...so that's my plan for today..might purchase a slice of cake Judy to have it with you ...

I used to wake up in Jamaica for my birthday.
That card reminded me of those wonderful times.
Today, was no sun to greet my day, but watching 47th Daybreak was special too.
LOL, could be worse, could be blizzarding...yikes, I shuddewr the thought.

All these years and i still am not marked. Always thought about it,

Vicky, mom is bringing me on Friday more pills that her vet suggested..I do know she's old, I'm hoping that once she can get outside, get some sunshine into her I'll not have to think about the next step of her journey..hate to even think how hard that will be...just like losing a family member...

Stacey was watching Buffalo news this morning and they were showing all the ice build up on the waterways and saying that a few more mild days like this and everyone along the river will be flooded...

Melanie (DIL) dropped in last night to pick up Kyle..because of freezing rain there was no school so both Kyle and Noah were at home...guess Kyle is trying to get over a cold and Noah was bothering him so he came to spend the afternoon at grandma's anyway, Melanie said that Greg would be hard to live with this weekend...he was to leave tomorrow night for 4 day snowmobile trip..lakes and trails not rideable unless of course we get snow tomorrow and thursday... he's not pleased....guess Mother Nature can't please us all...I'm happy with this weather

I am thankful that we don't live near a river-the cold temps tonight and for the days to follow-not sure if they will help or hurt-here in Temperance there are 10' drainage ditches along most of the roads to prevent flooding, but up in Monroe (about 20 min N) there is a river that runs right through town....worried about them. And most of the houses that are newer including ours sits on a slightly inclined yard so that water goes away from the house, but still glad we got the new sump pump last year!!

LK's got some nice ones her sons did for her-they are both tat atrtists....I want one of them to do mine, had hoped to have the $$ in May-still hope to, but not holding my breath now that I quit my job for a magic $200 to fall into my lap...

Stacey,Monroe sounds much like the little town I lived in "Coldwater" river runs through it..a few years ago it flooded half the town..there is a seniors complex on the river and there was much todo to get them in a safe haven..traumatic for the poor souls...my girlfriend Diane lives on the waterbank as well..all will be ok if we get no more rain or high temps..a little melting is fine...one thing about high winds, it sure dries up the land...

$450.00 is about right for a portrait tattoo. There is a lot of work, and shading involved to get it right. Not everyone can do them!

Just back from lunch....was the box intact...ask Judy, think she got one from me for her birthday last year.. know it snaps together down the front and over shoulders to create a place to put your arms...

OMG we went and tried another place for lunch, great food, anyway there was a little store, it was a Dollar to $2. so I went in looking for a matt that is secure so Sailor can come upstairs...a middle age man, don't think he was all there was walking down the aisle swearing..I looked at him shaking me head...he looked at me and said "what are you looking at you old A..hole..had to laugh...

Betty-I think I would have fallen over laughing too!! I do hope Judy has a pic-it would be most helpful-since we spend so much time in the basement it is a little chilly and I like to sit on the couch and do things while I watch TV w/ DH-so this will help to keep me warm!!

Oh Betty I wish Spin class was that much fun but nooo…..it is an exercise class on a stationary bicycle…we use it as winter training for our bicycle riding…..it is hard and sweaty, but makes getting back on the road in the spring a lot easier.

We are definitely waiting for pics of the tatoo!!

Laura wunder, hope there is good news of your brother…..have been watching the news…..not a pretty site…..did love the dear little Koala that was rescued, she is a pretty thing.

Laura (Mine) and Sean put a deposit down on a duplex very near me today!!! A bit smaller than they had hoped to get, but it is close to us, the High School is next door, and the elementary school just next to that…it is only about a six block walk from my house!! Looks like she will have mostly a Shade Garden…..as she said not a Perfect place, but is $600 per month less than where they are now!!! She can do a lot with that much extra each month, and have the best shade garden in town to boot…and for sunnier spots she can always come help with mine.^_^

Mom is soooo excited about her surgery…..we go in at 1:45 tomorrow, surgery is at 2:45….an hour or recovery, then we get to come home!! Have had good reports from others who have had this procedure and this Doctor is one the best on West Coast, he has patients drive from as far as Southern California and Las Vegas for his services…..I know he did wonderful things when my husband had to have an emergency hip replacement. Mom just wants to drive again, and get things off the lower and upper shelves without having to call me to help…have a lot to do in the morning so will take the computer with me and catch up at the doctor’s office.

Talked to one of my cousins and my Aunt and Uncle in Oklahoma….they all are safe, but a smll town North of them was hit very hard and many people are still missing…..prayers for them and also for several DG friends we have not yet been able to contact…….some things I miss about Oklahoma and Texas….the tornadoes are not one of them!!!

Tummy is saying it is time to stop and find some lunch, so waving to every one and will pop in later….

How wonderful Trisha that Laura will be close to you..isn't that exciting..I'm sure you can have lovely shade gardens..she must feel 100% better knowing where she'll be living..tell her we're waiting for her return to the thread so we can hear all about it...

Glad your family is safe...keep praying for all of you...was telling Judy earlier..I cleaned my oil brushes, tidied up my desk..Jeff is coming in tonight to install new computer in each office providing he can find the place..fog is as thick as soup..anyway would say another 1/2 day and the panel will be good enough to insert in the cupboard..won't have to keep looking at all the items sitting in it saying 'paint the panel/paint the panel' not sure why I don't like it...could be because this particular cupboard is downstairs and the large chesterfield set doesn't blend into female and country..so I'll finish it, and will look for yet something more to the decor, paint the backside of the panel then I can change it from time to time...

Yes she is Very Independent......I know once she can't be it will be rapidly down hill from there... just from what I saw in this short period.

We haven't had so much fog, but the ice was quite bad last night.....it quit snowing early evening and melted just enough to get things slusshy before the temperatures dropped...yuk!
