feel better Dave!
Coffee Break # 4 Waiting on Spring!
ZZZZZZZZZZZZ's will help too.
Hope you are up to par real soon, Dave.
What's the cutoff for 'young and stupid'?? A-rod was 28 in 2003. (Incidentally, I was 28 when I got married. Hmmm)
The cutoff is any age younger than you are now.
Crazy, isn't it? Adolescence now begins earlier than ever (10 or 11) and apparently ends around 40.
Hey Dave47 - that puts you and me in "early adulthood," right? ^_^
Yes it is, Dave. More of the same lack of responsibility.
Miguel Tejada was charged with lying to Congress about his steroid use. He's copping a plea. (What's the penalty when Congress lies to us?!)
what? are you saying that politicians lie? next thing you'll be telling us corporate America is greedy and unethical . . . ^_^
lol
You just burst my bubble!
What about corporate Canada??^_^
Newsflash - many rich people are snobs!

Wow, I never would have known.
Studies like that are garbage.
Corporate Canada is reputed to be full of ethical, charitable human beings, just like Canadian Politicians are. I'm sure that there is a humane reason for why they are all stinking rich and recently approved pay raises for themselves while signing the latest batch of pink slips. O did I say that with my outside voice????
LOL! Cousin nut, you are too funny!
Victor, I just didn't know that about rich people (not!!!!). Oh, I have a friend who says her son, who came from a family who had (and still has) nothing, is a real snob. Go figure!
Oh, Dave, I hope you are feeling better real soon!
Went to the movies tonight and saw Taken with Liam Neesan. Very good! Really brings home the tragedy of white slavery. People who do that make me disgusted.
Willie, those muffins sound good. I bet they would be good with ground flax seed, too. I've been using that in my oatmeal in the morning, and it's quite good. Provides those great omega-3 fats. I have been eating the steel cut organic oats, too.
Karen
I don't think we should get started with politics...very dangerous...like why bailout money is paying for a new jet???? I guess that's what you get when you hire the Keystone Cops.
What is this "politics" y'all keep talking about ..... sounds fun!
Karen: I have been thinking of alternative ingredients .... and following the cranberry farm thread, I think they would be a great substitute for blueberries in there, too ....

Willie - cranberries are great in muffins: I substitute OJ for milk, and throw in a bit of orange zest. Sugar content goes up a bit if using fresh crans; not necessary if you use the dried crans.
Well, then ..... FRESH crans it is!! Thanks for the OJ tip, too!
Anita, stepping out on a limb?
Well, stayed home again today. This makes 4 days! I was planning on going in today but woke up feeling lousy. Just to show how much I'm not faking, I turned down a free ticket for Uconn vs Syracuse this evening.
Wow - you are sick, Dave! Feel better.
Is it Spring yet? At least some of the snow in my yard is gone and I can see the straw mulch I put down again. Maybe I can get the rest of the bale out of my trunk before it snows again.
latest bailout has univeral healthcare written into it and no one is talking about it. get ready for long waits for health care if it stays.
This was the right place to be stupid!

i did not read the whole article - was his name plaxico?
Hee hee.
so hard to not talk about the stupidlus package
last night on the news i believe they had an economics guy claiming if they gave each tax payer the $$ it would fix the economy faster. and companies would be forced to compete for our dollars. trickle up economics - sounds good to me - the local garden centers would be happy as i would be getting fully grown JM's instead of the 3-4-5' ones:)

ya, sounds good to me
And the garden genie wouldn't have to bring me those brick walkways. How much would we each get anyway?
well my buddy says if we all got back what we paid out in taxes would be fair - me i would like it split evenly that way we could split the trillion dollars between only tax payers and get a mill apiece or so - i did not due to exact math
The best plan is to give it all to me and count on my generosity.^_^
Uh huh.
EEk--a free ticket to Gampel, Dave? I wished I lived closer to Storrs--no, I don't---too flat out there for me! I'll only get to see the 2nd half tonight---have a discussion to attend that ends at 8.
