Coffee Break # 4 Waiting on Spring!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Thanks, Dave. She was just our little neighbor, but so nice and friendly.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

She really did, Bill! I think I will have to take a different route for a few days. That curve will never be the same place!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks Louise. Sorry to hear about the cat. That's a nice long life though.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Good morning everyone. Another snowful day. This is getting OLD and I'm bored. What's happenin today? Did wha fall in the pond yet? (Not that I want him to of course but it's the manly thing to do I hear).

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Happy State Flower Day NJ folks!!! Viola sororia is a luvly choice for a state flower. It's a bit of a koinkidink because today in 1965 Canada made the maple leaf the emblem on our flag.

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Our snow has almost entirely disappeared the past 4 days. Pretty much left with curbside and parking lot snow. It had been a very long period of consecutive snow cover for southern CT

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

dnut - just came in - i've spent the last two days out there and have cut up all the wood i needed to get too. and dragged all the branchs to the fire pit to make ash for the veggy garden. sorry no splash downs were recorded - did have hit one soft spot with one of my legs and managed to get out quick enough to stay dry.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Glad to hear you had another successful manly adventure wha. I can't use ash in my gardens (alkaline soil) but I do use my firepit ash for those pesky delph worms.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Oh - no splashes, Bill?! I dump my ashes on my veggie boxes too.

South Hamilton, MA

Wood ash has been especially recommended for peonies.
