Yea we were watching the news yesterday. The doppler radar had pink where the ice storms are.

I know some of you have laptops. I've been thinking of getting one with my income tax return. What is a good one to get? Also getting a new montior mine went kaput and I'm using Rick old dinasor, lol

I AM QUITTING MY JOB TODAY!!! No new one yet, but last night was horrible-all these mean petty TM and I am FED UP!!! I would rather live in a box and work at Mcdonalds then take this anymore!!

Drum roll please!! This is the wonderful present I received from Deborah. I sure wish you had smell-a-vision to do it full justice!!! Deborah, love it, love it. love it. Sorry but you know me and not always having my camera charges. Duh--what can I say? It has the most delightful delicate smell of cranberries and makes my bedroom smell so good!!! Thank you dear.

Raining and very dark here today. I won't complain as I know so many are going through so much worse than this. Do stay in and be safe and warm.

Crissyr, I don't normally complain about the dentist but this was my front tooth and it is the shot to deaden the area that has caused the discomfort. Really touchy today but it will pass.

Phyllis, send hugs and more hugs for you and Jasmine. We raised beagles and they are such nice doggies. I really miss ours but I know they are most likely playing with Jasmine now.

Well, our schools were delayed this morning by 2 hours... so, just got home from sitting at the bus stop with Mike... I just didn't have the heart to send him out there to wait for the bus in 25 degrees... with ice all over the road.

Going to work some more on this quilt now... ugh... just can't get much done on it before getting interupted... someday, it will be wonderful, though.

Marion, that is a lovely candle indeed! Deborah, you made her a happy girl today! Nice going.

Stacey, I wish you all the luck in the world to find a new job. Make sure you tell the big boss, exactly why you are quitting.

Cindy, don't buy a sony vaio laptop. Mine only lasted about 14 m onths. I need to clear it all out, and re boot i t. I hope that will work. And make sure you get a re store disc with it. Sony did not send one, and now thay want $20.00 for one! Pretty sad!

Hi Marion - cold but clear. The worst of it that was expected to come through last night missed us completely. Yeah! Can still take DFIL to his eye doctor appt this afternoon.

Stacy... If she is heading to OHio, we are on Level 2 and in some places a Level 3 snow emergency...The roads are treacherous right now....and if she passes thru a Level 3 area she will get stopped and fined... that means nothing but emergency vehicles allowed out there, and Clinton county is locked down right now...The Interstate won't save her either.. the bridges and off ramps are slicker than greased owl snot...

Kathy have you found a daycare/kindergarden type place for Pamela to mingle with other children yet? I remember you had mentioned it one time. Just remember to tell everybody at home that you have one nerve left and they are sitin' on it, whenever you feel panicy. That saying always calmed me down and told Larry to go back to his computer room and leave me alone.

Marion I'm glad you liked your candle. I just love Cindy's candles. They smell so good. And the melted soy feels good on my hands.

I'm still staying busy cleaning. It's raining here so I have no choice but to stay on task with my house work. Day two for no smoke. Keep you fingers cross I stay smokeless today. I'm determined!

You can do it Deborah, the key thing is keeping busy............Yep for any of you that have any of my candles dip your fingers in the melted wax and massage your cuticles. I tend to get kinda sloppy when pouring so I just rub it on my hands and arms. I sometimes smell like a candle shop, lol.

Cindy, Jaye has a doctor's appointment. I suspected it was a candle made by Cindy--the aroma was so much nicer!! Yeap sure do like the candle and the ladybug magnet. Joined the gang on fridge door.

BTW, Deborah, I was going to post yesterday when you asked about something to take stale odors out--put some charcoal in a container and sit it around. Really will do the trick!! Used it a many of time when I would travel with Ross to come home to a closed up house.

Raining here also and a damp clamy feeling that is uncomfortable.

Deoboah, I can get a several different smoke eliminator scents for candles. I've heard sitting small bowls of cider vinegar around helps also.

New room lovely ladies.. glad you all have a good time without me. Must be the good coffee!
