Th email ran at 5oclock and when I went out there ws a letter from the mortgage company saying the loan modification had been denied and they wee going forward with proceedings.. grrrrrrr I called and go the person who closed my case and she sadi she never recieved proper documentation

so anyway

Now im re-faxing all the papers she wanted even though I was never asked for them... Copies of all the payments i have made... (she said they had them in the pc but I want to be sure)

She said she will g to bat for us but she cant guarentee anything and the person who spoke wit hthe credit counciler should have been fired because they lied to me...

Donna,sorry to hear that.I'm here if you want to vent.

She says since we ad a modification done once before they shouldnt have even sent us to that department.. Most cases out of luck even though the problem was not mine..

They are willing (at this exact moment) to except the rest of what we originally were being asked for minus the chunk I paid... GRRRR

But if th emodification can go through it will erase it and stop everything

I need to clarify what I told BJ this morning...It has been bothering me all day since she posted...
It was almost a week before her Brother got picked up with his buddies, what few there were left...What I did not tell BJ was, he was on Hill 815 and it was supposedly unoccupied...He was gone longer than anticipated along with a few others....When a small platoon went looking for them...They were under a serious ambush...More troops went in to assist...both Marines and Army...they were under serious siege.....July 1968 was a very bad casualty time...Her Brother was with the 3rd Marines division...Like my 101st Airborne, we are the first in and the last out...

It took days of constant *Dust-offs* to get the wounded and dead or dying off of that hill....They were taken to a makeshift camp/field hospital, so that our Hueys could keep dusting as fast as we could....We worked non stop for almost 2 weeks...My crew was so exhausted they fell out of the Huey on landing...as did I...We would rest for an hour or so while we refueled and resupplied and get back at it....My Birthday, July19th, I was saluted by a young freckle faced 19 yr old Lance Corporal Medic, and wished a ** Happy F-ing Birthday Ma'am**..the both of us exhausted, filthy, and covered in blood... Please do not be offended at the term...It was War...It was what it was...
I tell you all this, so you understand why it took so long for the family to be notified...We had so many men going home in boxes it was surreal....and we had to get them from Quang Tri down to Saigon mortuary where they were held until the next flights to Hawaii to the Central Mortuary to be processed, verification of identity, and put into proper caskets, before being sent home...We had no way to notify families of deaths from the field...sometimes it took days or even weeks...
To this day that grieves me...but there were hundreds more being shot at and hit that needed me and my crew and my blessed nurses and medics...not to mention the fabulous surgeons we had who worked non stop to save all that we could...One of them caught me on my knees one night in the wee hours crying holding on to a cold hand...He said something to me I will never forget...

And now ladies...I wish please the discussion of that ugly time and place to rest for awhile...I have a transcript of the radio operator who monitored the dusting of Hill 815, and when I find it, I will send it to BJ...I am of the opinion that I may need to be there for her get together, and I may be dragging along my **Other Husband** also known as my Brother....Paulie...One of my guys from Nam...Huggggggs alll around!!!!

OMG, what a wonderful busy day! UHMMM, LOL I awoke at 2:30 AM geesh, I guess just a tad excited for visit with Kim.
Kim is a sliver! LOL, I kid you not. Fun loving. We had an awsom visit. Went to lunch at Dick's Roadhouse on River Rd.
I ate a whole cheeseburger, while Kim ate only one little bity one. and like 3 french fries. ROFLOL, Deborah...My arms wrapped around her twice!
Kim, You have a wonderful and Safe travels. Will send tobacco prayers for your safe and happy travels. LOL, don't forget to offer hugs.

Debra that sucks, we're in a Freezing Rain Advisory and a Winter Storm Watch. Joy! The highways and interstate is frozen over so Dave's staying home tonight. If they're frozen over tomorrow morning I'm staying home, not driving in it, not worth it. I had a talk with all of my trees today and they said they would do their best to keep their roots planted in the ground and to not break any branches off onto the house.

I got my birthday present from Stacey! I absolutely love the leaf decoration and everything else is very cool too.

I don’t think I could deal with having my furbabies be out in the world, I’m way too much of a worrier.

Jaye, not fair! Didn’t you mother ever tell you not to bring food if you don’t have enough to share? Really, I wish I could have been there. I’ve never done the hot pot, but I’ve seen it several times and always wanted to try it.

Donna, I’ve just been pulled away from the computer. Generally I’m on when I have the kids in the morning, when I have the kids in the afternoon and my DH isn’t on the computer, and when I don’t have something else to do. I haven’t had the kids in the morning a lot recently and I’ve been trying to pack in the afternoon. I’m not working on it today because I need to work DSD and she spent an hour and a half doing homework, so it seems kind of mean to take up the rest of her day packing.

I should go and do the kitchen and take out the garbage and recycling, but I “don’t wanna” so I’m putting it off.

You have my prayers on the house thing working out.

Thank you Dusty... I really needed to know that. I do understand why it took so long to be notified, and have been told by some that we were lucky to get word in just two weeks. Since I have never (personally) lived through such a thing, I just can't imagine the red tape, and commotion of what went on there. I've printed the comments you made, and wish to pass it on to my sister... however, her head is still under a rock and she doesn't deal with unpleasantness very well.
I would welcome the transcripts... and do please try to come to my house in May... I'd love to meet you in person... I owe you some tight huggs.

But now... I need to go get horizontal... the alarm clock is getting easier and easier to hear in the mornings... but it's still a pain...

Hello everyone. I am back home and headed to bed. it has been a long day. The weather in San Antonio was so foggy, that a lot of the planes were sent back to Dallas, and my flight from Dallas to San Antonio was cancelled 3 different time. I was supposed to leave there at 10:30, and did not leave until 2:00 this afternoon. Finally go to San ANtonio at 3:00, and Del rio at 6:30. Had a bowl of cereal for dinner, and we are crashing. I got Dad settled back into his own bed. and he is very happt to be back here. No more snow! I will catch up tomorrow.
Please tell Jesse, to try the womens shelter. I think just about every town has one. If her hubby is treating her so bad, she can go there for food and shelter. Plus the CHurches will help also!

I spoke to Paulie again tonight, and he is ready for a road trip too...He said when I get my vehicle to come get him and we will run away to Florida....LOL
Little does he know, looking out my window at this white stuff coming down, I would love to be on my way if I had a vehicle tonight...I don't mind the snow so much but I sure do hate that sleet and ice...It wouldn't be as bad I guess if I didn't have to spend 9 to15 hrs a day driving in it...

Those of you who have it coming your way, and don't have to go to work, stay home!!!! The roads are treacherous already tonight here, and the idiots are out in force flying along like they have traction...Looks like alot of you all south of us are getting more ice than we are at the moment...We got new snow til about 3 hours ago, and now its icy sleet coming down... can barely see it, but its there in the glow of the yard light...

Judy Sis....You know Creators demands...We care for those who care for us...we feed those who feed us...I don't eat my squirrels, but I feed them...and would feed the deer here too if they would come closer..Next winter I will have a feed station for them...Maybe they wont eat Cookies plants if I do??? LOL

It is down in the 20's here now and we are supposed to get a little snow....don't expect much, an inch or two at most.

I love the squirrels....I feed them....hope it keeps them out of the neighbors bird feeders as he doesn't like them......
I have always wished for a place in the country where I could feed the squirrels, the racoon and deer and not have to worry about neighbors........I have a soft spot for all the little fur-people.

Don't know a lot about it Cathy, couldn't tell you....

My DH was in the Army in Korea and in the Air Force in Viet Nam. 23 years of service. He was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. I am very proud of him.

Felling better this morning and again sorry a bout the rant.. Just needed to a lil bit..
I got all the papers completely faxed to the lady and will be calling her today to be sure they all went through on her end. I am gonna make this lady crazy..lol I even asked her if she wanted receipts and photos of all the upgrades we were forced to do becasue the house was falling aprt.. I have documented everything so that would be easy bat as of now she doesnt want it done..

It's 38 degrees here now... and that's the high for today... temps are suppose to keep dropping all day.
BUT, we escaped the ice storm for now. Didn't reach this far east of Dallas... Most of the Dallas area schools are closed due to the ice on the roads... and it's suppose to reach us by tonight...

I've got so much to do today... but Don's still home, so I'm going to wait till he leaves late this morning to mess up the house... ugh... and then, there's the clean up... sheesh.

It's snowing fairly hard out there right now, but the schools are still on, our schools have late start/calculations for anything, and it's supposed to warm up and go away later.

Stacy please take extra good care of our Kimmy.... I can't wait either Kim... I am going to ask again for Tuesday and Wed off as her hubby hated the younger crowd at school so he is a drop out... Not really he already has degrees and stuff but could not handle the young ones now in school.... YEAHHHH
My brother was going to be shipped off the Nam and one day we had the police and Navy at our doors and we went white mom almost passed out all for them to say my brother was Awol.... We said WHAT.... No way... Well come to find out they had him in the hospital as he was walking up a hill and the person in front of him slipped on the snow and he go the butt of his riffle in his mouth.... so he never left for Nam.... He did have to have 110 stitches to put his tongue sewed back together... So he missed going... So we were happy....
I also know what you mean by first in last out... Our son Matt is a grunt or was a grunt... was the worst 6 weeks of my life when he called from Kuwait(sp) and said they were moving in to bomb Iraq.... But all is well and I hope that chapter of our life is over... but he is still a Marine and my reinlist... Someone has to do it I understand wish it was just not him...LOL
