Oh what a bragger!!! 70*....I'm so jealous....

Now what's with this???? My first morning I can sleep until whenever my little eyes open and I'm wide awake at 5:15. So after tossing and turning fr 15 minutes, I got up. Kind of nice in the dark, quiet house. I slept a little better last night, but still not a sound sleep. I just keep running things over in my mind... I said Please TAKE THIS Lord, but when laying there, I truly had trouble letting it go, so I got up!

Have some errands to do with DH today. That should be fun. For now, I'm just drinking my coffee and feeling all fuzzy warm talking to my Sistahs!

Just checking in quick this morning.. My siser called last ight and offered to pay me to come do some end of the year accounting work for her at the shop so I will be spending my morning and afternoon hidden in the barbershop office.. lol I have done this for her free for the last 5 years and she finally offered to pay me so I agreed to come doit.. Apprently she remembered she does need my help from time to time..

Im sorry I havent been able to keep up lately ...

Donna, you should make some business cards on your computer for advertizing your services in preparing year end accounting for small businesses. Pass one over to your sister and leave some in her shop. You may get more business like that. Never hurt to try. Your sister will realize you have to make a livelyhood too.

Dusty, thought of you last night as DH and I watched a movie called Atonement (based on the novel by Ian McEwan). The main character was a nurse in London during the 1940 Dunkirk evacuation. She sits with a French soldier who is mortally wounded and speaks french with him as he hallucinates that she is the girl his mother wants him to marry and asks her if she loves him. It was a very good movie.

Well, I'm actually caught up. I think it's the first time that's happened in weeks.

Im here but for how long depends. we are in the middle of an ice storm. We will see how it goes with the power pole. In Dec 2007 we lost power for 9 days. No trees left now to take down the power lines but the ice can take them down. We are suppose to get this all day today and all day tomorrow. IF that happens we can be guaranteed that we WILL loose power. If you want to map it thru the weather channel or what ever the zip code is 73026.

Thank you Debra...The girls and I were mother, sister, wife, or girlfriend to many who needed us to be at the time...It was a way of keeping them mentally comfortable to deal with whatever was forthcoming...

I hope everyone is having a good day today...We have snow on the ground with the promise of much more and worse to come tonight, but the sun is shining brightly today...Birds and squirrels all over the feeders and the ground...
I am still sitting here in my jammies, and would like stay that way the rest of the day ... LOL...I DO have laundry to do, as I will need my britches and long johns the rest of the week...and I plan to clip at least one of the 3 poodles while the laundry is going as I will have to be in the basement anyway...
However, I have to take hubby over to the VA clinic to transfer from where we moved from...That won't take long, so I'm going to load the box of donations for the Salvation Army and drop it off on the way home...Nothing there my Vets need or can use...just chatchkies and junk..
I would like to tell you all... if you have clothing to get rid of, consider your local VA for adult things, and battered womens shelter for childrens...Contact your local police for help in donating to the Shelter as most are hidden...they also need food anytime you can help...If you have anything else, please use the Salvation Army rather than the Goodwill if you can...The SA will GIVE items to the needy...Goodwill will NOT...

Tia....I see that, and that is what is heading our way, with the ice to slam us tomorrow sometime...Never fails...Tuesdays seem to be my days for dealing with driving on ice here lately...With any luck, all my patients are watching the weather and the poop will hit the fan this evening, and they will all cancel...

Deborah, still looking. DH is going insane, and I'm stressed out enough it's breaking through my meds, but I refuse to compramise much with over a month and a half before we have to be out. I think things happen for a reason; something that is right will turn up and we'll get it, even if we don't really know why it's right when we choose it.

I worked for The Salvation Army and Goodwill both. Goodwill is more for the mentally disabled than veterans. So they will take care of them first, before helping veterans.

EWW Ice storm that's not fun. We have sunshine but cold in the high 50's and by the weekend it is to get into the low 60.
