Stop and visit, talk all you want #30

(Zone 7a)

Oh, Terry! My heart goes out to you. Very gentle hugs every day. Take care and we love you.

Amelia Island, FL(Zone 9a)

Oh Terry - I wish there was something I could do. I'm so sorry you are going through this. Please let us know if you need anything. Take care - we do love you.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

My mom's on Neuronten (sp) for her chronic pain. She's taking minimal amount and it's making her kinda sick, but the Vicoden doesn't do anything, and I guess Neuronten is time release.

I wish I could do something too. I'm here too Terry if you need anything from us.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

My neighbors across the street got into a fight, the new ones in the trailer with the barking dog. He's the one who came over and got Dave all worried that he might try to break into our house at night when I'm home and he's at work. I got nosy and went out on the front porch to listen. She was screaming "I don't give a F^*% about you, just Get OUT NOW! My house is foreclosing and You have to leave!" She must have said that about 10 times and I heard a car door shut, so I ran back into the house. Looked out the front window and it was the Land Lord yelling at the man! OMG! So I texted my next door neighbor (the wife), and went out to weed. Next thing I know my next door neighbor's home and comes over to talk to me. We ended up doing a lot of work together on this Pompous Grass on the property line. It's supposed to be cleaned out every year, but hasn't been done in at least 4 years, here's the picture from last August.

Here's what we did yesterday. Took us about 6 hours and we were just going to rake as much of the thatch out that we could, had no intentions of taking it this far.

I guess what happened with the neighbors across the street:

he man and girlfriend were outside talking yesterday when we were out there and I guess they haven't paid rent in 3 months, in other words they've never paid rent since they moved in. The Landlord, a very very nasty woman, went over and the man said he wasn't going to pay rent because he was fixing up the trailer. She told him she needed $900.00 now, which wouldn't get them caught up but it would keep them living there, he told her they don't have $900.00 and can't pay, she would just have to wait. That's when she went off, so I guess they'll be moving. This may be mean, but Yay!

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

LOL!! I wish someone would kick my 2 next door neighbors out. I know, I know it's mean but try living with them!! LOL

(Zone 7a)

Oh, boy! This is why I never will own a rental property. You have to depend on that income to keep the property! Holy fun-size! Why do people think they can get away with this kind of thing? I don't get it.

I wish the people across the street from us would move. I was in my front walking the cats and the wife came home with the annoying small pre-teen they have. The boy was blowing on a slide whistle. He kept doing it while walking around the driveway. The wife had gone inside. I could see her looking out the door and I said, real loud, "That's just great!" She stepped out and him to stop it and come inside. It takes a complaint to make her do something about noise. The cats were arleady freaked and had gone inside. The cars and motorcycles are coming back slowly. It looks like a car dealership or repair shop over there all weekend, every weekend.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

She doesn't care, she's the inventor of slum lords, the Queen of Slum Lords!

She sounds like a man, remind you of anyone I have mentioned?? This nasty woman looks like a man too, she even has a beard.

That sucks, nothing worse than noisy neighbors with car lots in their front yard.

Amelia Island, FL(Zone 9a)

Crissy – You’ll be so glad you cleared the pampas grass like that. It likes being seriously cut back. That’s funny yet sad about your neighbors. I don’t like being a “nosy neighbor”, but sometimes it’s fun! LOL!
Celia – No joke. The market is crazy here. People were buying up properties like crazy (inc a friend of ours) and now the foreclosures are off the charts. Our friend thinks he may have to file bankruptcy. He had 13 properties here and 15 in Philly. His goal was to sell off the Philly props and move here. That didn’t happen. The props are selling, but very slowly. He’s hanging on by a fingernail.
Crissy – She sounds scary LOL!

Any updated news on Terry?

Terry if you are reading this, know that you are in our hearts and prayers. Looking forward to the time you will be joining us here. Much love to you!

(Zone 7a)

Terry, the same from me. We love and miss you.

Crissy, are you sure she's a woman and not a man pretending! We had a neighbor once who tried to tell us he was a woman but there's no hiding the 5 o'clock shadow, Guy! He finally gave up and admitted to it. I don't care, Sweetie. Just tell the truth and we'll get along just fine.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

No, she's definitely a woman, no man can attach tits that big and flabby lol!

My happy day celebrating my neighbors moving out just went down the toilet. My awesome next door neighbors are getting a divorce. She has an attorney and will more than likely file this week, and the fight is on for the house, but she can't afford it without roommates and we live out in the country, which means that he can't either and all of his friends are deadbeat alcoholics. So if anyone knows anyone who wants to rent a room out in the country on an acre of land with an awesome person let me know.

(Zone 7a)

Maybe Mau knows someone. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Mau? Whose Mau?

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

Marsue. She used to chat with us over here but now she hangs in other places like weather. :~) She lives in Arkansas.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Oh, lol I know her, I went to her husbands viewing. She's on Mid south too. Very sweet lady. I posted a possible roommate wanted post on the mid south forum, that's the first forum I ever went on.

(Zone 7a)

I sometimes forget some people don't call her that! LOL Sorry. ☺

I have to get to the farmer's market and grocery store before our snow hits. We have NO food in the house. I'm such a slacker.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Oh that's not good, you better get your butt to the store!

(Zone 7a)

My daughter wore me out while she was here for the weekend. LOL

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

LOL. I almost always end up being the one to run to the store cause my mom doesn't want to get up and go. I want out of the house so she gives me the money and I go up there and get the stuff. LOL

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Me and Dave switch off, depends upon whose available at the time. He went this weekend because me and Diana next door were busy tearing up Pompous Grass and starting bonfires lol!

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

You will never see my dad at a grocery store. LOL. He hates them!!

Good news!!! I got the job at my local grocery store!! Will be on the floor til the greenhouse is up then I will be taking care of that. Only part time and the pay is low but in this economy I don't care. LOL

(Zone 7a)

Yea!!! Good for you! I wouldn't care what I was doing, either, as long as that greenhouse job was coming up soon.

I got my other shopping done but I didn't get to the farmer's market.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Yay!!!! Congratulations!! Our farmers market isn't open yet, I think it opens in April.

(Zone 7a)

We havwe an indoor one that opened last summer. It's awesome. You can get something year round.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

The one in Little Rock is indoors too but doesn't open until April or May. Bum!

Well, I have an IT meeting to go into, so see ya in a bit!

(Zone 7a)

Yeah...have fun with that. LOL

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL the IT meeting didn't happen because one girl wasn't here. I'm her 'assistant' of sorts. She's very unsociable. She's not from here and moved here in 2000 with her husband, and has wanted to move back ever since she moved here.

He finally gave permission to move back to where she came from, so they put their house on the market over a year ago. It finally sold and closed escrow, so they're renting a house. She's been working where I work since she moved here, 8 years now. She's always got appointments so it's hard to schedule anything because of her schedule. I should default to her position, which would give me my own private office and a raise. I'm going to be sad with her leaving, I don't want to do her job, but how nice that would be!

(Zone 7a)

Wading through all of that, which was kind of hard (grin), I've come to the conclussion you will be sad when she goes?

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL see what happens when I don't proof read before I posted? I'll edit it.

(Zone 7a)

No don't do that. I was being sacastic. ☺

(Zone 7a)

LOL Okay, that's a little better. ☺
So...you will be sad?

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Yes because I do like her, I know I'm gonna cry. In order to find out what's going on I have to be extremely friendly or we wouldn't even know she sold her house. She is so self absorbed it takes a week to do a 1 hour job, plus her husband who can't hold a job calls about 20 times a day, not exaggerating, telling her to do this and that for him, instead of him doing it himself at home, so she puts him before work and more of her personal crap gets done than the work here. She hates Arkansas and everything that has to do with it. I will be happy to be away from this other secretary, and happy to have somewhat of a raise and my own private office.

Tht's so sad. I wish woman like that would just get away from those kinds of men. So controlling!

Bureau County, IL(Zone 5a)

i'm here, now anyway. sorry, i'm going to have to get off soon, my arm is killing me.

i found out last week our family doctor is on a 2 week vacation. evidently, an associate of his doesn't see his patients while he's on vacation, which i find stupid. but i think 1 is finally understanding the severity of my sodium level being so low. i have to get my who knows how many times, sodium blood level yet again tomorrow. i just had one yesterday. it was 123. i've been eating whole cans of can, basically forcing myself to eat when i don't want to. the only time i feel hungry is in the morning. when the nurse called me today, she told me to cut down my intake even more. i'm now down to 5, 8ounce glasses of whatever to drink. try doing that. today i wanted to call my mom, but i forgot her number. i'm not that old i should forget their number. it's the number we had when i was a kid. the number isn't one i can get from the caller id, because when they call out, it's always on the fax line, a different number. suppose i could call it, but that screeching is really loud☺

i can't type anymore, my arm is pulsating with pain. oh, i refuse to take vicodin anymore.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Oh Terry darn it, we really miss you. I keep praying for ya girl!

(Zone 7a)

Gosh darn it, Terry. If we could shoulder some of this pain for you, you KNOW we'd do it. Well, at least you'll be able to get on whenever you can. Knowing you're paid for another year should help. Say as little or as much as you want. Just a peep to know you're okay is fine with us.

Get better. We love you.

Where is everyone? I automatically went to the shift and I did it, and it didn't hurt...not too bad anyway☺

I see an Endocrinologist next Tues. I guess I misspoke of the associate of our family doctor. I guess she didn't care about my sodium level after all. My bad (even though my sodium level went down to 120). Our family doctor never did want to see me, regardless of my every day phone calls to his office. My mom said she was going to "do" something. Go beat him up, I guess. Joking of course. My mom just has this weird thing. To sum it up, it has to do with money, clout and who my dad is, who she is, who my brother is, who I am...blah blah... Do you care who she is? Nah, neither do they...lol. Oh, and when our family doctor did finally refer me to this next doctor, it of course, has to go thru our insurance. With this new insurance, I've come to just know that I have to call them and make sure that any given doctor I want to see is in our network. He could be in it last week and not this week, they're so screwy. The billing lady called called them and found out that there are no Endocrinologist in the state of il in our insurance network.

The heating pad is basically on my neck and across that upper shoulder bone area, down my arm to my hand, 24/7. I think I need it again.

(Zone 7a)

We're still here!!! Looks like it's feelin a little better, though. Other thant that are you well?

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

Hi Terry!! Still here, just dealing with several deaths of family and friends. I just went to visitation tonight for a firefighter who was a friend of ours. Very, very hard on us. Plus a cousin of ours was found dead last week in her apt and had been dead for a week. But no smell. She lived next door to my youngest brother. So we have been pretty busy here.

I also started my new job at a grocery store this week and so far it's going pretty good. I get to help take care of the greenhouse which once I get that all figured out will be fun. :~)
