Yes, there is winter left over. I left the leaves on top so it sould give some protection. I just yanked them.

My next project will be the front but that will have to wait a few more weeks.

That sucks Celia that your hurting so much.

I did a bunch of yard work today too, Dave blew the beds with his blower, then I had the rider and picked up all of the leaves he blew out into the yard, he trimmed the Concord and Muskedine vines and I raked behind him and put all of that in my compost pile on top of the leaves.

Before that I had the best shopping trip ever! I went to JC Penney in West Little Rock to get Dave's crock pot and ended up buying his crock pot, 3 pairs of slacks for me, a new purse, and a wallet for $100.00! Then I had to buy gas, every station I drove by was $1.80, $1.85, so I decided I would just drive back to Benton and get it at Wal Mart since I had to go grocery shopping anyway, $1.65! I should have went to the horse races in Hot Springs, I bet I would've won some money.

Well, I think I'm going to go to bed. I haven't been cramping near as bad today so maybe this is finally letting go. If I still have it next week I'm going to go see a stomach and intestine dr.

Crissy, my acid reflux makes me have that problem.

That's lots of work! LOL I pulled some weeds and planted some seeds. That's the extent of my day. We're headed to Costco then to get a chai tea. Mmm...

I didn't do anything today, did it all yesterday and Dave slept all day.

I've got myself all scared of the storms again. Supposed to be bad Tuesday night and I think I'll be here by myself. I'm asking everywhere if someone wants to come stay the night with me, I need a babysitter!

I had a pretty last weekend. It was close to 70 Sat and Sun so what did I do? I put on my bathing suit and went to the beach. I’m so pale, but so is everyone else LOL!

What is chai tea?

Chai is spiced tea. It's becoming more popular these days. If there's a coffee shop near you, go try one.

I feel a little better today and I've decided that when/if this gets better, I'm going to hit some plant nurseries to look for work. That'd be a great place to start.

If you are gonna hit nurseries now is the time to hit them. They do all their hiring before they open for the season. lol. But maybe you will get lucky and be able to get on during the season if you go for it. I'm gonna look up some more nurseries this week to apply at.

Today, dealing with wind. 40-50 mph winds with chances of storms later on. Whopee!! LOL. I need rain, not wind!!

Oh we're supposed to get severe weather and a possibility of tornadoes Tuesday night. Does anyone want to come stay the night with me? I don't want to be by myself at night during this.

He didn't listen to a word I said, told me how I felt, and gave me Imodium because he thinks I have diarrhea problems all the time, even though I told him I had an Appendectomy 6 months ago and it was perforated and leaking and told him I have NEVER had this problem. I'm hoping it's not my gall bladder.

Are you going to a different Dr?

If it keeps up I'm going to go back to the surgeon who took out my appendix. Either that or I'll go to a gas and intestine specialist. I just wanted to tell my dr to run a darn test, he did a white blood cell test which came out perfect.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Anything is better than having somebody take out your gall bladder if that isn't the problem. I can't stop thinking it might be heartburn related. I'm probably just crazy.

When my mom's gall bladder went kapoot she had major heartburn, and remember before I had my Appendectomy I always had heartburn. This is definitely not heartburn, this is gas in my intestines, and sometimes my stomach feels like there's a fire going on inside of it.

Whoa! I hope it isn't another infection. My DD gall bladder was taken out about 2 years ago. I'll ask her what it was like. BBS...

Ask her if her white blood cells were elevated.

LOL No kidding! Me too! I had bacon with breakfast yesterday and didn't have any problems, outside of the normal problems, with it. I don't know.

It's time for me to go home, so I'll be back on later this evening! I'll get home around 6, eat dinner, then relax with Dave for a bit until he drifts off to sleep on the couch, so I'll be back probably around 7 or 7:30.

most likely who ever had the dog that they think had seizures, needs to go to a doctor. they have meds for dogs having seizures also.

i want to move to ca because i can buy a house for half a million and in 5 yrs, it will be worth over a million. that would be grand. even half million dollar houses around here, which are few and far apart, don't have granite and ss appliances.

we went to the appointment with the nurse last monday. it wasn't the nurse at first. it was the billing lady. she told me it would be fraud if they entered the code for the doctor that is needed for me to see him. i needed a gap exception and it requires a different code. she says it's fraud. i went to our family doctor and talked to billing lady there and she said hog wash on fraud. friday the 13th is off for surgery. anything to do with this neurosurgeon is off. because of the circumstances regarding my condition, i can get in to see another neurosurgeon on the 16th. hopefully he can do the surgery that day. just kidding. soon anyway. can't stand being back on all the meds and they aren't working too well.

this is killing my arm. talk when i know something from this other neurosurgeon.

Ok I'm back! Dave's asleep so I just made a can of soup lol!

Celia, the storm is supposed to be a squall line coming through around 2am my time, 1am your time, if you really want to sit up lol!

That was my mom's dog. It had a seizure from eating the turkey poo and there was no damage, so that was good news. If there's any poo around my step-dad isn't going to walk him.

If you want to buy in Ca NOW is the time to do it. I just moved out of that pit, it's in sad, sad shape too.

Crissy, you need to go see a specialist. Don't put it off. Make an appt and find out what is wrong before it gets worse.

Pep it's getting better, that's why I keep putting it off. Now I'm wondering if it's my stomach. I think I need an ultrasound.

You're better off getting it checked out just so you know what's wrong with you. Especially since you just had surgery 6 months ago.

It's better to be safe than to have it all of a sudden get worse which may not happen but could.

I totally agree, you're right. Do you think it would be better to go back to the surgeon dude who did the appendectomy or do you think I should go to a stomach and intestine dr?

I think that a stomach and intestine dr would be a good choice since that's where your problems seem to be. If they discover your problems are related to your surgery you can then go back to the surgeon.

hi girls...had my appointment with new neurosurgeon. don't know what to say about him. odd maybe. everyday my neck or my shoulder, or my elbow or my wrist, or all, hurt more and more. this is getting really old.

i wish the first doctors office would have called beginning jan 1 and told me they didn't accept my insurance anymore. morons. course, if he'd have done the surgery way back in oct, i wouldn't have had to go thru all this.

someone paid for another year of my subscription here at dave's. if it was any of you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

oh does my arm hurt.

Hi Terry!! Hope you get relief soon!! I agree that being in that much pain all the time gets old.

Yes Terry, we all care and want to know what's going on. Please keep us posted when you feel up to it. My mom has been in chronic pain for 20 years and is going through several surgeries right now to get rid of it, hopefully. She just had one on Jan 2nd and it could take up to 2 years for her to feel relief, I don't think she can have another surgery until she completely heals from this one either. She's got skin that was pulled way way too tight and moved the Pudendal nerve the wrong direction for 20 years, her surgery was to loosen some skin and get the nerve to move back to where it is supposed to be, which could take a couple of years and hopefully it's not damaged.

Bad, bad stuff, my thoughts and prayers are with you Terry, big time.

find new doctor, can do surgery next day. good thing, huh. this was last mon my appointment, surgery on tues. , but my sodium level too high. no surgery. have to get sodium back up, but i don't know why it's so low. it's critical low is what the anathesialagist, no clue on spelling. the guy who puts you to sleep. so much pain, and i can handle lots of pain, but with this i'm sinking fast. pain makes a person cry because they've lost themselves because they can't do anything but sit. ya know question marks aren't where they should be. that's too hard to do.

have to get off and find heating pad. just took that gabapentine. generic of neurontin, or however you spell it.
