Back to speckles. I'm in luv with 'Lovely Girl'. She isn't hardy here and usually only gives one bloom but it's worth it. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/69001/

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

O we crossposted ngam. I luv white. Casa Blanca is beautiful.

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Ahhhh 'Visaversa' one lily that glows in the evening AND the morning garden. I'd have to say it has a very unique color. It's just spectacular! A must have ; that is, if you're shopping ;)

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Who needs grass anyway ngam?

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

That's what I keep telling him, less to mow. I really am helping him right?
Oh another beauty. Lovely Girl , okay got it. This list is getting awfully long. It's those pics that Pixie posts all over the place isn't it. Then everyone chimes in. No chance at all to resist this stuff. I have the backbone of a jelly fish when it comes to lilies. Okay so almost any beautiful growing thing that smells good ,has pretty colors and green leaves. I admit it...I'm a plant junkie and loving every minute of it!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Well Mags, speckles are nice, sunset is beautiful but im totally smitten with a slash of sun. What is it? Suncrest???
BTW you picture last year got me to buy 'Nymph',,,,several of them in fact. lol

Pat I love Visa a Versa and don't own it...I might see a trade in the future. LOL

Nitey nite Pixie. Thanks for the beautiful lily pics.

Does thinking about ordering count? I have a dwarf peony & a minature hosta marked in the Song sparrow catalog.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

irisMa, I would say that my "mental gardens" are my best! The blooms are huge, my combinations are perfect and nothing dies, and no weeds, ever. But what is a miniature peony? Patti

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Well there she goes again. More pretties to tease us all. Really nice Pixie. I will be moving Visa Versa I think, if I get around to it this fall so ya could be right. You are definitely right about that Splash of Sun. We really do need a name and where can we get our hands on one.
I would also like to know more about the dwarf peony. I agree with you Patti, my "planned in my head" or even on paper are always waaaay better than the reality. Everything is fully mature, looking like a mag. shot, blooming for months on end and no weeds, bugs or trouble of any kind.
I think just thinking about ordering counts too, this is wish fulfillment really isn't it, so it's like horseshoes, almost definitely counts. Besides just thinking about ordering usually turns to just plain ordering sooner or later. LOL Browsing and drooling and dreaming is half the fun, at least this time of the year. :)

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Well that lily would be 'Pink Cream'. It came from, some of you might have guessed it, Buggy Crazy. It looks just beautiful in the garden, better than her pictures. It wasn't offered last fall because they were trampled by those neighbor dogs that get loose and wreck her stuff, but maybe this fall. It was too beautiful for a price of $2.

'Nymph' is a favorite. It's the color combo, it just sings summer.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

irisMA - check out mason hollow nursery before ever ordering a hosta.

Dwarf peonies are listed as rock garden peonies in Klehms 'Song Sparrow' catalog. Had to fetch the catalog to see official designation. the one I want is 'Squirt' a white listed at 16". They do go up to 24". Never heard of them before & have a spot for that one.

Where is Mason Hollow?

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

It is just north of RT 119 near Townshend Ma, near Groton and Pepperell. I am about to send them an order for a few thing. I have never been, but hear they are a very nice nursery, especially for shade plants. They have a Corydalis Ex Dufu Temple which I am ordering for the name alone! I have an X dufus in my past life. Patti

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

it is in mason, nh it is not far from my home - they have 700 varieties of hosta and also do biz on line. if your are ever in the area i recommend it. wife runs the nursery with her husband - it is in there backyard - very nice people and patti is right they also have a bunch of other shade plants. people drive miles to go there - a friend at works mother drove down from maine just to get some rare hosta whe had to have.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i just ate lunch with that klehms catalog in front of me and pen in hand - i think i circled about 10 hosta's - will have to check if MHN has them now - and that i don't have them already - one is a must as it is called Cindy something my wifes name.

with all the trees that we lost in the ice storm and the three maples i took down i might have to much sun for some of the hostas i already have. more bed building ahead i think.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Yay! More bed building!!!

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Klehm's catalog is pretty much my favorite winter arrival. They take such great, great care of their plants too. I have visited their greenhouses (closed to the public) a time or two and it is just amazing how great everything is cared for there. You can tell they have employees who really love plants.

Thomaston, CT

OK---now I have to order a Klehm's catalog & go online to see Mason Hollow---am also ordering from one of Pixie's sites---you guys are soooo bad for me!

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

The shipping for live plants is expensive at Klehm's, but I have never seen plants as well packed as theirs either...and no, I am not a co-owner in the company, just one happy customer ;)

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Ditto what Robin said. I don't get Klehm's catalog either and already have MH on bookmarks list.
