Kids are creative these days if nothing else.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

They are, it's nuts.

My cat is stalking something, LOL it's her reflection in a picture frame sitting on the floor!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Mine is mad because I won't let her sit in front of the monitor. Keep telling her she is transparent.

Lancaster, OH(Zone 6a)

I guess so I never would have dared to act the way I see some children acting.. Im proud t o have well behaved kids (even when they have a moment) and continue to remind them of their manners. They both say yes/ no mam and sir.. Please and thank you always too!

Well I think Im going to watch a bit of idol and head to bed..
Have a greta night everyone

Night Jaye, hope you are better in the am. We miss you LOTS!!!!!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Now I can call it a night that Jaye has checked back in and I know she is okay. Jaye, please, dear one, take it easy. We need, love and want you to keep us all on the straight path and not going off "willy nilly" doing things we shouldn't be doing. Like buying fabric!!

Seriously, my love and prayers--please just take it easy not just for us but for Kel. I am sure he was worried sick.

Glenview, IL

Good Night.

Coushatta, LA

That is whats wrong with this world today.Parents not being able to spank their kids. That is why kids end up on drugs or other things like steal.I don't see nothing wrong with a parent spanking their kids to teach them right from wrong.

Good night Jaye.

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Back to the kids, when my son was little (he is 35 now) I was playground supervisor at the school where my mom taught. We had a little third grade girl with the filthiest mouth I had ever heard from a kid.....I told her I was going to pop her one if I heard that again. She informed me I couldn't do that or daddy would sue the school. Next time we walked by me and said something I just swatted her rear as she went by. She stopped, looked at me, her little lip quivered and she said "You really did it..." I told her yes and if I hear that language I will do it again. I never had another bit of trouble with that little girl. Most kids just want someone to really care what they do.

Coushatta, LA

See that is what kids need these days.If not they will run right over the parents. My son use to bite me,he won't do that now.He even calls me yes ma'am and he is three years old.If people don't take a hold to their kids now they will grow up to be know telling what.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks for the hot coco Donna! We're supposed to get down to 11 on Thursday night with a wind chill bringing it down to 5 degrees. I'm wondering if I should wrap my water faucets, I have 2 water faucets that are exposed.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Morning ladies...
Cathy... all sistahs are welcome to come to my house on Mem Day Weekend... I will have room for a few to stay with me, but there is a motel not far from me also. I'll try to get information for the hotel today... since I think I'm pretty much caught up, and Don will go back to work today... THANKS GAWD...

Kathy... I'm afraid I would have to laugh my sides sore every time Pammy crowed at the chickens... that's got to be the cutest thing.

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Crissy, I would sure wrap them. We have those styrofoam things that go over the exterior faucets that work well. From Home Depot I think.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

I was thinking about those and thinking about picking up a couple at lunch, if they're not sold out lol! If so I have some old towels I can wrap around them, it's only going to be for one night anyway. I can't leave the Styrofoam on the faucets very long because we have a lot of ants of every type out there and they took over the styrofoam handle on my garden watering thingy. Of course the ants aren't going to be out in that cold, but as soon as it warms up a little we start seeing them out and about.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

Morning all!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol Kathy I am just now getting Punk boy in the habit of picking up his toys from the living room. Cars, trucks, planes, trains, transformers and them annoying little army men that if you step on them your feet hurt for days. No leggo's allowed in my house for now.

When my kids were little they were not them "screaming" kids, I would have solved that real quick with a swat on the behind. I can not stand to be around screaming kids. I do not go to places there might be screaming kids, if there are any I am so outta there pretty quick.

My 3rd daughter was in the shopping cart she was about 2 or 3 and she kept grabbing things off the shelf and stuffing them into the cart, after a few times of putting them back and telling her no I swatted her leg and said that is enough. This lady comes up to me and commences to give me the what for. I turned on her and gave her the what for, she stomped off and said I never, I told her she just might be next. She told me she was going to the manager of the store and report me, she did, I talked to the manager and he immediately gave all his granddaughter a kiss and a hug. YEP that was my daddy. He told that woman that if their mother spanked them they probably needed it. You could have parked a semi truck in that womans mouth.

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Joyce, that's blasphemous! I would usually agree that dark chocolate would improve a candy bar but the Heath bar is perfect just the way it is. (IMO) All the Heath bar talk makes me want one soooo bad. Guess I'll have to settle for the chocolate cake I'm getting ready to bake. DH will be lucky if 1/2 of it is left when he gets home this evening!

I've searched and searched to find my MOB dress online to show you a link but cannot find it. It's a Donna Ricco, floor length, faux wrap style with a big collar that stands up. It has a small built in petticoat at the bottom and a stiff band in the hem to make it stand out. Sounds weird, but it's very fitted through the bodice, waist and hips with fullness in the lower part to offset the fullness in the collar. Oh yeah - it's rather 'revealing' up top. Shoulders are covered but the top is low cut. We added a hook and eye to keep it from being too revealing!

Coushatta, LA

LOL, i know what you mean.

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL! Tina, that woman went to the wrooooong manager!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

tina, when she starts her screaming or pouting i tell her to get away from me and cry in the corner. she does it!

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

you should have seen her face when he bent down to hug and kiss them. I had told the girls not to say a word when papa got there. Usually they would all run up to him and hug him first. Showed her I did.

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

very good Kathy. That is what I tell Punk boy also, you gonna do that crying go to your room I dont want to hear it. Usually he will sull up and stop the crying.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

yep, once i tell her to get away, she stops in seconds
