that is just the bottom of the cup the rest was shredded around the front of the bus so I figure it was around a 16 oz cup and it did not have coffee in it it had a very strong smell of vanilla making me think of "French Kiss"
as to who ..no idea as to why?? no idea but the way it hit we think they knew what they were doing

Hi Cody! I really enjoyed our talk the other day! We'll have to do that more often!
I have to tell y'all about an e-mail I got. There was no name, just an e-mail add. The gist of it was he/she had a terminal illness, and wanted me to let them send me lots of money from his country so I could distribute it to his family and 20% would be set aside for me and my family. Well I've had this kind of mail before and they kept on sending until I replied like this: Sorry I can't help you, but I'll pass this along to my government and their lawyers etc. will contact you in person at your home to help you. They can find you, so don't worry, it will be taken care of.
I don't expect to hear from them again!

Way to go Audrey. I get those all the time, and I just delete them. Big time scam for sure.

Audrey that sure was a scam I get them all the time too and I just mark them as spam they go into my spam folder and get deleted. I have sent a few in that have come saying they are from the government or so when the email address they came from is clearly not so....but I never reply back as then they know they reached someone for sure.
But love your answer you gave them!!

as for sewing machines..I'm no expert ...I can't even tell ya the one I had when I was still in high school nor any of them since then ...I know there was a singer and the janome I have to get fixed yet and the babylock now but the brother one I picked up at walmart seemed to be a nice one and it was only 140.
Kenmores are good too as I had one of those as a spare back in IL and never had trouble with it either.
I never had anything but mechanical ones until now.

I see there is talk now for BJ's place.
Audrey it is 9 hours from Paris TN to Tyler TX to drive it if that is an option for ya...then BJ is mmmm a lil over an hour away from me I think it is.

No word from Jaye yet? Has anyone heard anything overnight?

Im up getting things together this morningto go to the hospital myself.. My mom called abut 20 minutes ago and I have to head over to be wit hmy grandma after I take the kids to school.. She took a fall last week and seemed fine yesterday when I checked in on her (other than complaining about things that happened 30 years ago) but My sister took her in at 445 this morning to the E.R. Please say a morning prayer for her this moring.. Her name is Lola..

My SILs father passed away last night about 9:30. They just took him to Hospice yesterday. He had COPD and they knew it was coming. Still not an easy thing. My grandson is taking it very badly. He is 13 and this is his first death since he's been old enough to comprehend what's happening. They called the family yesterday afternoon. Said they didn't know how long he'd make it as he wasn't moving any air. Said not to wait for after work cause it might be quick. Anyway, he held on until 9:30 and the whole family was there with him. So looks like at least a visitation will be in my future.

Not like Jaye at all to disappear and not let someone know.... :o(

So Sis...has little Pamela got you under her thumb yet? ^_^

Sorry to hear the loss of your grandsons grandfather(?), Joyce. I know it's hard on a child to loose someone so close. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your grandson and your extended family.

Hey Joyce, you know Pamela has her hopping. Bet she wanders how she ever got the house cleaned with her little ones. Pamela has her full undivided attention. I guess I got the same thing coming to me. Can't wait.

AND I am so jealous that you are getting a little girl, Deborah...my two that are coming this month and in April are both boys. Last two were boys....I NEED some PINK in my life!

That is odd of Jaye to just leave and not say anything. Surly someone knows she talks to us, although when I had emergency surgery last summer and couldn't get on the computer for a few weeks Dave never got on to let people know what was going on, I had given one person my phone # and started getting phone calls LOL! He said, "I didn't realize people on the internet were so close, I figured you would just drop out for a bit and no one would notice." Maybe that's what's going on here. More people have my phone # now and I have other people's phone numbers too.

Kathy, are ya having fun yet? LOL Enjoy it because they grow up sssooooo fast. It seems just like last week my grand son was born, he is going to be 14 in Feb. He is going on an 8th grade field trip to Washington DC, they leave Feb 14 and will come back on thw 19 wich is his b-day.

I bet that little girl is going thru hell right now. I know when Punk boys mom was acting stupid he would act out real bad. Yes I would have to spank him and it just about killed me. Then I got to thinking it isnt his fault his life is turned upside down.

Took him to the auction last night, I was so proud of him. He used his inside voice, sat with us the entire time. He even got to practice his rooster crow. Dead silence at the auction and he crows from the stands and people look around to see where the run away rooster is. He is such a little turkey.

Kathy it will take time for you DGD to adjust to you and your ways. Is there a way that next time she talks to her mom that you can record it so she can hear her mom when ever she wants.

Kathy, those little ones can teach us real quick, but you have to be strong, and tell her who is boss! Sorry girls, but I firmly believe in a smack on the butt, gets their attention real quick. My daughter in law, does not believe in spanking, and my Granddaughter is now 9, going on 40, and the granddaughter tell mom what to do! She has to have a cup of coffee in the morning, before school, and she only eats carbs, no meat. DIL, now admits she should have done something earlier...
Ladies, I am off to get my sewing machine back off the shelf, and on the kitchen table to do some black and white quilt blocks.

audrey, i think i just didn't spank hard enough to get bthrew the diaper. it broke my heart to raise my hand to her. she has never had disipline until she got here. it will take some time and lots of love and patience

Had to go to the doc's and he admitted me to be observed overnight at the hospital.
I'm okay.... PTL, no time for serious illness, especially with all the crafts and promises to be kept.
Thank you so much for your loving thoughts, calls, dmails and especially prayers. I felt them last night and wished I had access to DG :(
You think I should be rested well enough? Not with the ins and outs of the hospital staff.. so, I'll continue this later.

Just taking a break and thought I'd check in. Been busy busy today. Don's home and we're getting some things done... Actually, Don's working, I'm supervising... this could end in divorce. I guess that's why we have put off doing these things for so long... we just don't see eye to eye on some things.
