Thank you all for the Birthday wishes!

Here is what I got with the money that was sent to me for my birthday.

am a lil tired but have to get the laundry done as I leave Thursday morning 8 am with a bus of soccer players for a tournament over by Ft. Worth and get back hoe sometime Saturday they say...but I am taking the laptop wtih me so at the motel i can get online as the battery is shot and haven't' gotten a new one yet

tomorrow though will be the last of the dirty days as I got the approval to trash the stuff so I will spend my time when not on the bus gettin it all to the trash and hopefully shredding the stuff that has to be shredded.

Oh Laura-that is beautiful!! Are you going to paint it or leave it as is??

Auntie M-thanks for the info-I knew that with all the fire Kathy has that she would get it taken care of!! Sounds like she has everything in line as of right now...

Kim-yes-that was the plan-I want one of LK's sons to do it and in the style of my fave fairy artist (and I am sure all of yours too-I know it is LK's) Nene Thomas-well-maybe not Laura's as I know what her tastes are...

Tante Jaye-if I let Chris do all the decorating, there would be hockey posters everywhere and everything would be a shade of brown!!LOL We fought over the paint colors I wanted and he didn't think they were a good idea, but once he finally painted them on the walls, he LOVED them!!! So he said he would trust me a bit more now:)

Auntie Cookie-I have that all the time!!

Here is a pic of the bath-Chris says it gives him vertigo every time he goes to the bathroom in there and it is ones of Mom's fave room-LOL-JK-she HATES it and has been beggin us to get it taken care of-can't wait til she is done with her quilts so we can get the valances made for my fairy room-then get some crown molding up and call that room done-except with painting the night stand and decorating the new lamp shade I have for it:) The one thing we are unsure of how to really do is replace the cabinet sink with a pedestal-like where do the shut of valves go that are usually hidden under the cabinet-are they in the same place?? Are they hidden in the pedestal?? Do they get moved higher?? With the sink, I am going to try to stencil on it-I had seen it done on a toilet bottom once-will have to talk to Betty about a top coat for that;)

BTW-DONNA-I can't WAIT to see them-I am sooooooooooo excited-I really think you have no idea how much I appreciate this and how much I am looking forward to them!!

I am back agin. Slept all last night. Back was hurting bigtime. 2 demoral, 3 valium, some Baileys and Kahlua mixed with hot Chai tea took care or that. Got up this morning and could hardly walk. My lower back and the center of my back, was about a 9 on the pain scale. So, 2 more demeral, 2 more valium, and a hot chai tea.
Ran (ok, hunched over and old people setps) I got dishwasher emptied, then refilled, feed the zoo, washed & dried dog sheets and blankets, played with the little fur balls, cleaned up the mess that comes out of said little furballs, answered some e-mails, and went to bed just as the pain med were kicking in. Slept all day listening tto "Feast of Joy & Love" by Laura Sullivan. I love her music, its so calming.

Tink, I posted on another thread but just incase, yes the shut off value are hidden in the pedestal (or all the ones I looked when remodeling our 1/2 bath) I couldn't use them as they weren't shaped right for my lines and I was to cheap to have all the lines redone just to have that type sink. If I can replace an old cabinet and sink you and Chris should have no problems, trust me on that!!! LOL

That is just to funny about the wallpaper!!! My friend in Gainesville and I were both in the process of remodeling our baths one year, we searched diligently looking for some paper similar to what it is in your bath now, found it, put it up and less than 6 months later we were both ripping it out!!! Drove us and our dear hubby insane looking at the stripes!! Good thing we could wallpaper and helped each other. That reminds me, after 7 years (I think I have mentioned this before about my son being obsessed with perfection) my son has finally reached the point I will be helping him wallpaper the master bedroom. He basically gutted the room and has tried to restore it to it's original design with moulding/ baseboard as possible. It really is nice. The floors are fantastic--wish my looked like his but I didn't have nice hardwood floors to start with.

I took Laura out shopping today at the Barn one of our best local Nursery and Garden Supply places....we were originally looking for a cat statue that she liked but when she saw the Diana she just had to have it and she is soooo happy.......thank you all for giving her such a wonderful birthday!!!

I went to spin class tonight against my better judgement and it really took it out of me...think I am in for an early night.
