I finally think I have read all the threads I missed. We have all been down with the Arkansas Crud and just been taking meds and sleeping most of the time.
I will get my 2009 Sistah Buddies gift out this week. Have been waiting for something to come in that I had ordered for her. And I need to make a fresh batch of fudge.

As for foreign languages... my European nieces and nephew speak English, German, Malay besides their native French. Then in some Asian countries, being bilingual is mandatory.

I've been out of sort for several weeks. I won't go in to any details but I'll just say that I refuse to let the devil have his way anymore! Devil you are defeated in MY FUTURE!! Praying for 2009 to bring much "LOVE" , "JOY" and "HAPPINESS" into my life. Still have alot on my plate to deal with but with each passing day it to shall pass!

Kathy my thoughts are with ya sis. Have a safe trip.

My oldest daughter that is in her last semester of College and will start her internship next August gave me the news last night. WE ARE GONNA HAVE A BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!

They had been trying since back in March so to have the baby here. Well they quit trying in October. I told them before just quit trying.

Bad news, she will not be at home like she wanted when she has the baby. Dont know for sure how far along they are but she suspects 6-7 weeks, and that should put it end of August or 1st week of September. I told her she WILL NOT have a Texas baby, she WILL cross that red river and have that baby. ^_^. I told her she had better have a 2 bed room apartment where ever they are. I will be there 2 weeks before and 2-4 weeks after.


I know of College Station in Texas, Ball State in Indiana, Somewhere is Kansas and another in Missouri and somewhere in NY. One more and I forget where it was.

Good Morning All. I haven't sent my 2009 sistah buddy gift out yet, because I am still waiting for something I ordered to come in, and I have to make more fudge. It should go out sometime this week. I am sorry I am so slow at getting it out. We have all been sick with the Arkansas Crud. I just take my pain pills for my back, antibiotics from Dr Duke, and sleep. I hate winter. I end up staying sick from about November to March every year. And I have a back surgery to look forward to in the near future. What fun.....NOT!

Well, I did not go to Dallas with Don this morning... we're having some freezing rain, and I'm afraid I'm not a bad weather driver... so, I sent Don off in it all by himself... after all, I've got to get this house cleaned up. The AFS (American Field Service) representative is suppose to come out here for orientation on Wednesday... and I certainly don't want her to walk into a mess.

I had a dream about Kathy last night... can't remember all of it, but PLEASE KATHY, be careful on that trip... and let us know when you get home... OK?

Raging Hormones? Don't all kids have those at that age? Michael wrote such a well thought out letter, that I'm thinking he's a bit mature for his age... but we'll see.

Stacey, YEAH... you and Donna can go in business... she does the art work, you do the wood work... we do want pictures when they're done.

Yes, Stacey... Michael will be here when you all come in May... but that won't effect our party... My son in Canton said that Michael can spend that weekend with him and his family, and he'll bring him over for our big BBQ so you can all meet him... but that will depend on what Michael wants to do... he might enjoy being around all of you from all over the US. Can you say Culture Shock?

It is 38 degrees, with a little drizzle rain, but nothing is freezing yet!

No blooms, just leaves, on my brugs, but one of my pregnabt onions is blooming. Pretty little starlike white flowers with a little green accent in them.
I don't know if I'll make the party in May, but I'm still hoping! Haven't been able to save anything except what BJ sent for Christmas! But maybe next month!
BJ, if I flew, what city would I fly into? I want to go so bad! Even though I can't get around very well, I'd like to meet those I haven't met yet, and renew "old" acquaintances!

I haven't read anything, I'm back at work and wow, two weeks off is killing me coming back! I have 28 expense reports to process for one salesman...grrrrrr...one of them is from Jan 08!

I did want to tell you that Kathy talked to her daughter (if someone else has posted this, please forgive the duplicate) and her daughter wants her to check her out of rehab in Florida and bring her back to AL with them. So Kathy is going to do that and put her in rehab. She won't have any "sources" in AL so that is already a good start.

I tried calling her multiple times this morning, but I didn't get any answer. I'm hoping that they weren't getting a signal and that nothing else is wrong...

Wish me luck, ladies...I may be here a LLLLOOOONNNNGGGG time!
