Star are you saying cranberry juice is a good bug killer? I sprayed again with neem oil last night. Then a down pour came so I don't know effective it was before it got washed off.

Bonnie, thanks for the compliment. You really are too kind. Maddie's birthday cake was the same color of pink. Her momma baked it from scratch and the icing too. She has become very domesticated since having a baby and buying their first home. :) I will gather you up some egg tree seeds tonight and get them out tomorrow ok? Thank you in advance for the maya seed.

Rose I'm glad you are doing better. We have been sick around here with one thing or another since Christmas. I'm tired of it. Now Maddie, mom and I have the upper crud. Sore throat, runny nose cough and chest congestion. Ugh I want to feel good again.

I'm counting the days until April. Next month the weather will start to improve greatly but April is when we are pretty much safe from frost. Come on Spring! I'm wanting to go camping.

Feb. started out pretty warm here, temps. in the 80's. This kind of weather makes me so sleepy and you never know what to wear for the day.

My second bud bloomed so now I'm happy to have 2 beauties on my plant. No more buds for now, but hoping soon. Went over to Lowe's and you should see all the plants for garden. They even have some nice size tomato plants. Gee, I don't think I want to plant tomatoes just yet. Going to try growing gourds again, the ones I planted last year didn't grow up before they died off. I need to get out and pull some more weeds, always plenty of them around. Weatherman mentioned rain for next weekend, but I just dont believe it until it happens.

Jeanne,i hope you and your family feel better soon.I think two of the Brugmansia seeds you gave me are sprouting.

Hi all, just checking in!

I did finish the patio today, just forgot to take a pix. will be transplanting some lemon thyme there tomorrow and will definitely take a pix and post.

I am now one step closer to my brug walk!!! with this patio done, I just need to pull the weeds that grew in the brug walk, pour the cement into the mold and start diggin holes in the ground for my brug babies !! LOL!

will be nice to have my front porch back! thats where I overwintered the potted brugs this year. one is blooming now, but they are so crammed into the porch I cant tell wchich one! grrr! cant wait to get them in the ground.

does anyone know when it is the best time to transplant the brugs from pots to the ground?
