I was very excited to see the lovely red color, first time this winter.
I was told that if the birds had a place to 'hide' near a feeder, it would draw more birds. I placed my Christmas tree out there and the birds hid in it today during the storm. After the sun came out they left ,which is when I took the picture.
We had only 3"--yea! But it was cold today--24 & windy. Loved the bird pics---we had a pine siskin at the feeder today, but I can't get a photo---they fly when I open the door!

Pretty Pixie... ours are very elusive ... every time I get the camera out... they leave... I have a few blurry shots of cardinals nothing to show here...

17 now.... going up to 33 and partly cloudy... I saw on the news that thursday and friday are going to be single digit lows.... oh joy
we start single digit lowes tomorrow and for the next four days, even the 10 day outlook isnt above 30 for a daily high.

Nice sunrise pic. We have now cleared out and have a very bright sunny blue sky afternoon going here. Almost blinding with the snow. Temp up to 26º and the breeze has freshened to between 5-15mph from the wsw.

14 degrees here. Brrrrr!!!!! The low is supposed to be 17, but we're already lower than that.
