Mixing snow, sleet and hail. I want to move south

oops -sorry

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

One more--then have to go chisel out my car.

Get the ice off your windshield first! I have seen them blow out if you put the heater on!

South Hamilton, MA

Snow overnight in NE MA. Rain is turning it to slush. 36 degrees.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I say we all crash Louise's place in FL for an impromptu NE RU!

Yes! We can call it Louise's Winter Palooza RU

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Sounds like a plan to me.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Should we let Louise know or just show up?

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Let's just show up. hee-hee

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

I'm sending spring to you, Patti. But, judging by how slowly I've seen the UPS and Fed Ex trucks driving by today, it may take until about March 21st for my spring delivery to get to you. Is that OK?

^_^

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Sounds like that will be too slow, so from what I read, we are all coming down to camp at your house for anti-ice RU. Ok? Patti

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Well its a balmy 36 degrees here too. Rained all day and is a slushy mess that will freeze over night. A lot of snow they say is headed up north for tomorrow so buckle up kids. A road trip to any place warm and without snow, slush or ice would be very nice. How many extra beds does Louise have do you think? Sleeping bags maybe?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I know they said snow tonight... but it's freezing rain again... SIGH

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

well the rain and snow finally stopped... until friday night... 32 now going up to 37 and partly cloudy

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Thomaston, CT

Was pretty decent here---35 & cloudy--the ice melted off the trees at my house, but not in the higher elevations of town. Icy branch fell on a telephone pole, toppled it, & killed a 21 yr old girl standing in front of her house---it happened about 5 miles from my Mom's house. Talk about freak accidents!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

That is so sad and freaky. I am back home, steamship cancelled as the winds and seas are still high. We will now try and go up to Vt on Sunday for a few days.

Currently 36 degrees and blowing a steady 20mph plus. But that is down from the steady 30mph plus we had this morning. Patti

21 and sunny. Calm before tomorrow's storm. 8-10 inches. Yuck. My recent bad luck continues. Just finally getting over the sinus infection and I scratched my cornea yesterday. Spent the day putting saline water in it and keeping it closed. Still not much better so it's off to the eye doc. Makes me appreciate those people with vision in only one eye. Very difficult.

Good gosh Victor. Take care of that eye!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks Sherrie. Waiting for the doc's office to call.
