Been exactly 32.2 degrees for hours now! Ice on the plants is not melting.
Todays Weather in Your Garden - 36
No - doesn't look like any real damage will be done. (I hope!)
Just rain this morning and afternoon 38
Snow overnight in NE MA. Rain is turning it to slush. 36 degrees.
I say we all crash Louise's place in FL for an impromptu NE RU!
Sounds like a plan to me.
Should we let Louise know or just show up?
Let's just show up. hee-hee
I'm sending spring to you, Patti. But, judging by how slowly I've seen the UPS and Fed Ex trucks driving by today, it may take until about March 21st for my spring delivery to get to you. Is that OK?
^_^
Sounds like that will be too slow, so from what I read, we are all coming down to camp at your house for anti-ice RU. Ok? Patti
Well its a balmy 36 degrees here too. Rained all day and is a slushy mess that will freeze over night. A lot of snow they say is headed up north for tomorrow so buckle up kids. A road trip to any place warm and without snow, slush or ice would be very nice. How many extra beds does Louise have do you think? Sleeping bags maybe?
I know they said snow tonight... but it's freezing rain again... SIGH
well the rain and snow finally stopped... until friday night... 32 now going up to 37 and partly cloudy
Very pretty pictures of some pretty dangerous stuff, there, Phoebes!!
Got a little bit of snow, but just a dusting. Some more on the way .... the winds are making drifts.

AHHH, I am being blinded by the sun!!. Yep, it's definitely the sun. It has been soo dreary lately, and we haven't had the freezing rain, etc. here. Currently 36.
Sun appearing here too. Finally.
Now it's snowing!
36 but supposed to get cold for the rest of the week. Glad for the snow cover & christmas tree boughs on the plants.
Partly to mostly cloudy. Very windy, 10-20mph with stronger gusts. Temp is 36°. More snow for the weekend.
Lovely day, sunny, but has been windy. The steamships have all been cancelled. I am suppose to be on the 6:30 tonight. It is 43 now and the wind is starting lay down. Patti

Was pretty decent here---35 & cloudy--the ice melted off the trees at my house, but not in the higher elevations of town. Icy branch fell on a telephone pole, toppled it, & killed a 21 yr old girl standing in front of her house---it happened about 5 miles from my Mom's house. Talk about freak accidents!
That is so sad and freaky. I am back home, steamship cancelled as the winds and seas are still high. We will now try and go up to Vt on Sunday for a few days.
Currently 36 degrees and blowing a steady 20mph plus. But that is down from the steady 30mph plus we had this morning. Patti
Temperature in the 20s projected for the next 3 days.

21 and sunny. Calm before tomorrow's storm. 8-10 inches. Yuck. My recent bad luck continues. Just finally getting over the sinus infection and I scratched my cornea yesterday. Spent the day putting saline water in it and keeping it closed. Still not much better so it's off to the eye doc. Makes me appreciate those people with vision in only one eye. Very difficult.
Thanks Sherrie. Waiting for the doc's office to call.
