Todays Weather in Your Garden - 35

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

LOL Sherrie... 15 now... going up to 30 ... supposed to get that nasty mix stuff tonight

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

Hope all are well. Victor, I hope you are feeling better and it was just a 24hr bug.

It was frigid yesterday, but is supposed to warm up today, probably low to mid 30's. Tomorrow will be down right balmy and reach the 40's!

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Well Sherrie makes the 13° here seem down right balmy. Wind makes it feel closer however at 5-10mph. Should get way up to the upper 20s for a high with sunny skies most of the day. Big thaw starts tomorrow after snow changes quickly to rain and temps climb to or near 50.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks Anita - it was. 15 and clear.

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

Karen - we used to do it all by hand, and believe me, you have all my sympathies - it is a tough job, especially when the snow is that heavy damp stuff!

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Hope everyone is safe and warm ..... and Healthy!!

Does 7 foot count as a "bigtime drift?" :-) And that's not the drift the neighbor snow blowered on my sidewalk, which was way worse to shovel out (that was only about 5 foot tall). Funny how they forget all those years they yelled at us kids for doing just that!! (all one can do is laugh, right?)

It's raining on top of a snow-sleet mixture, but warming up nicely for the next few days. Sorry about the snow, Pixie & Willie---I'm pretty sick of it already! Merry Christmas, everyone, stay safe & happy!

Snowing again. Geeze.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Above freezing at 33°. Very little wind, overcast and waiting for the rain. I will not miss ice all over everything. Hope a lot of melting happens the next few days.

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Pixie...for a cat, and considering the weather the past 2+ weeks, not so harsh---pretty funny!

40* and the snow has taken a beating. Good it deserves it!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

It's 42 here right now, and quite windy. Most of our snow is melted. I can't believe it went so quickly! Didn't expect it. No white Christmas this year. :0(

We're supposed to get a high of 45 today with sunshine and wind, 20-30 mph with occasional gusts up to 40. Windy enough for ya? Not as windy as you, though, Sherrie!

Lucky, Willie---I always say you don't have to shovel rain! It's 25 here & cloudy--my niece, who had to work yesterday, is coming in from Pittsford today---we'll get together for pizza with the family for mini Christmas II--I'm exhausted from Christmas I! Already am planning New Year's dinner---sauerbrauten!

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Thirty degrees here now. Not much wind and a lot of the snow has melted. Out back it is still covered but in the front a lot of bare ground again. Should just get above freezing today with bright sunshine. Another mini heat wave for the weekend 50-60s so the rest of the snow should go away.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Morning all! 34 and mostly sunny. We had a great day yesterday. Hope all else did too.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

It's 35 out there now. Today started in the 20's, then temps went into the 30's. Tomorrow is supposed to get into the 40's, with a high of 47, then Sunday will get to 60. Wow! A heat wave for Dec. We saw sun in the morning, then it clouded up in the afternoon.

Yesterday we had a great Christmas. My nephew from Texas arrived Christmas Eve. First time away from home for Christmas. He's really enjoying his visit, and we're enjoying him being here. I will hate to see him leave. He is 16. Last year his mother bought him a brand new SUV for his birthday. Lucky kid.

Tomorrow we may be visiting the mansions in Newport Rhode Island.

Karen

Raining. Tomorrow a heat wave is coming in with temps in the 50's!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Cloudy--rain has stopped for the moment--no ice! My stepson & his wife left this morn to go back to Maine--hope they don't run into any freezing stuff! Hope you get to the mansions, Karen--I love them, & the Cliff Walk---2 of my best friends went to Salve Regina---I visited them when our breaks were different---loved Newport!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)
