We learned today that our road in NH is closed.....really bad ice there and still no power. We are feeling pretty relieved to be here right now. Brrrr...it is very cold here! Yesterday we were only 5 degrees warmer than Dad (in Upstate NY).....light rain for the past 2 days, and they are predicting freezing weather/chance of snow by Thursday! I do not mind it, but will have to wrap my palm trees & pray we don't lose them - told my DH that if we lose these, we are not planting any more - we have spent over a thousand dollars replacing them twice in the past 4 years!

We had same conditions as Ngam today, rain, sleet, big fat snowflakes. Then nothing but cold. It's supposed to snow tonight, then melt tomorrow in the rain. Yucky!
