Hi All! Kim inivited me to this thread a while ago but I kept forgetting to "watch" it and so I never managed to get here and have time to read through all the posts!
I never post much, just usually only have a few minutes to stop by and read a little bit but I do enjoy the posts!

Very wet here today, as it was yesterday but at least it was warm yesterday! My new puppy enjoyed the rain as you can see from the picture!

Kim,
If you have time while you are at Susan's, maybe we can get together?

Hi All,

Ok, well I like to garden, I hate deer, groundhogs and moles. I have a lot of space outside to plant things and I usually but not always try tp use plants that are deer resistant but still have nice foliage or blooms.

Linda Kay that puppy is not just wet, she is totally mud covered! Her name is Bob, she likes to dig and I just found out she especially likes to dig in mud! I have no idea what she was digging for but I'm sure I will once the rain here stops,LOL! She's 12 weeks old and can sit, fetch and come when the big box in the kitchen gets opened. Otherwise she is totally indifferent to the word, unless it suits her to do so.

I also like to sew, quilt and cook. In addition to Bob I have a 15 year old female cat named Buji, a worm bin and too many houseplants!
Terri

( Kim) Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

I gotten mine that I orded from Bass Pro they are the Fleece (SP) One. than I went there and got the under armour and still don't keep me warm I tred the cuddles I don't like them and no warmth. Working on the road I have to have warm clothes☻

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Testing ♥

It worked!

Taking a break while trying to figure out how to wind the bobbin on this new sewing machine. Bought an extra bag of bobbins from the dealer and they don't have a hole at the top to pull the thread through. The thread slips out when I try to wind it no matter which direction I wind it. Anyone know about these? There's a spiral type thingy inside the bobbin but no catch for the thread. I've emailed Husqvarna Viking but don't know when I'll get a reply. My dealer is closed due to the weather. Grrrr .... today is the perfect day to get some sewing done since we are iced in.

Hi Terri, how did 'she' get the name Bob? Must be an iteresting story! She sure is cute.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Debra, sorry but I am so laughing as I had the same problem with my new machine. Took me longer to learn to wind the bobbin than anything else. Try wrapping the thread around the bobbin a couple of time and then hold away with a little pressure until it catches and starts filling. Let me know if that works.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

kim, have you seen those denim pants that are lined with fleece. I bet with your long johns and those you'd keep warm.

????"?"????? nope won't work for me :(

Bedford, VA(Zone 7a)

Here's what Bob looks like when she isn't covered with mud:

( Kim) Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

I am bad I have 2 pairs of them and Thats when it so cold I have 3 pairs of the long and my carhartt bibs on and sometimes I even throw my rain pants over all that stuff than I can't walk and I look like one of the punching bags with the clown on them that falls and keeps come back up for more

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Geez what would happen if you fell down would you be able to get back up?
This is for Terri go here and tell us more

Hi Debra, Her name is Bob because my husband corrected me when she first wandered into our lives. I said it was female and he said no, she got a blank. So the next day we went to the the vet and my friend said Brian, I thought you said this was a male - don't you know the difference? This was after we had filled out the paperwork and told them her name was Bob. So as not to be troublesome, we decided to keep the name. It's nice and short and she answers to it, which is a plus. Dogs don't care what you call them, as long as you don't call them late for dinner, LOL!

( Kim) Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

Terri
Is Bob a small dog? so cute . Maybe I will find one on my Adventure Ya right

Cindy I am just so thin and have no meat on my bones And I am cold most of the time Warm heart cold hands and feet
I am hopping that my son calls me today its his birthday 34. He will be in for X-mass trying to talk him to move back home
His 3 kids live hear and they need there father

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Well, my dog Bear thinks his name is Sadie and Copper. When ever we would call one of them Bear came too.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Where is he? I didn't know you had kids. All this time I thought you were a career woman who didn't want to be bothered with marriage

( Kim) Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

Are you talking to me

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Yes you Kim
