Finally got a half sheet of foam insulation and re-installed the kitty door so I don't have all the great cool air whipping into my bedroom!!!!!!!!!!!

Great tree Trisha but is it 10 and you guys are starting to eat I be fainted dead away. I have been cleanning my dad is stopping by tomarrow I just found out at 8 pm so I had to have the house clean I was baking today 4 layer cookie I didn't have 7, Date bar, oatmeal rasin cookies
I took a look over at Turtle's AV page OMG I thought I had alot of plants but her's are bloomming told her she got to show me what I am doing wrong
Well I wasn't on today and you guys started another page and had 83 little threads I just can't keep up I have to check every hour what am I going to do when I go on vacation .

Kim,No, its only about 8;25 right now.......due to work schedules over the years we usually ended up having lunch anywhere from 1:30 to 4........DH gets off work anywhere from 6 to 9 depending on the day and the time of year...... we fit in well with some customers we used to have from Spain as we usually have dinner between 8 and 10........I guess it is a matter of what you get used to.

Sounds like you have been busy....get some rest and enjoy your visit tomorrow.

...As you know We went to Cottage for Thanksgiving and had the most incredible time watching Eagle "chill" and fish...out on the lake.

Morning girls well I am up and have the first of the 2 casseroles in the oven to bake since they take about 45 min to bake but I am watching the tv stations for school closings or delays and so far there are only 3 delays and we are not one of them but we are under a winter storm warning till at least noon today.

I know what I call a winter storm warning is what Judy, Kim and anyone else in the snowy states are used to with snow and lots of it and ice with temps below freezing
and that is not what Texas has but then of course they do not have the equipment like y'all do for it either.
I just hope if the roads are icy out there like they say they are suppose to get they do call school even if it will be cleared up more by noon.
I know I can handle it but as we have talked before and BJ knows the drivers here have trouble handling wet pavement in the rain.

well think I will kinda doze on the couch while things bake.

Judy, I envy you your house on the lake. And to see the eagles like that Oh Man!. Rick collects eagles and I like them too. There is a lake where we go fishing and there is an old tree in the top of this tree the eagles build their nest. We were up there summer of 07, while we were out in the boat we could see the eagle flying around getting fish (the fish we couldn't catch) then up to the top of the tree. I took pix but it was so far away all you could see was a white dot in the trees. if we go there this next summer I'm going to take my brothers 35 mm with zoom lens see watch I can capture on film.

Thanks for the coffee Jaye- We needed it. Around 10*and had ice/sleet on Sunday and am getting 2 - 4 inches of snow today. It is beautiful! I am just glad that i am blessed to stay at home with the kids and don't have to get out in it.

I am finishing up my 2nd rag quilt to sell and am starting the third for a Christmas present. That dang Tina got me hooked.

Yep, Phyllis... Don had to drive home from Dallas last night on icy roads... said the bridges were really bad, and cars were sliding all over the place... It took him a bit longer to get home, but he made it safely... *whew*
Hopefully they'll sand the bridges this morning before he has to get out in in again.

Well I am going on a new adventure after Jan 17 and I have to be in Michigan by feb 24 for dentist so I have been thinking (OH NO)
I am driving an taking an Adventure to Turtle-Chi Ninja Girl House in Virigina by the end of Jan for me to be with her DH to watch the super bowl game. Ok I can go anywhere that heads East I think thats the right way. I am leaving from IL I can go to MI, Kentrucky,Tenn.,In,Virigian ,NC, Pen, anybody live that way and I can come and have real coffee with them. I wood like to get to Florida but I don't know if I can but who no's thinks work in strang ways.
I am cooking breakfast I got a call my Dads comming to town so I will make breakfast for him than we may go to my sister I am sure we will its only 3 miles away.So I will be checkeing in again
2 question were is Kathy and Joey Have I missed them I speed read and miss alot hope all is well with both of them

Good morning!! WhoooooPeeeeee!!! A whole day off. It blew freezing rain all night and the roads are too dangerous to travel. No snow, just ice. No work today and no party tonight. I'm so happy! This is Holli checking out the ice last night. It was still loose then but it's a solid sheet this morning. Like a skating rink.

Had a great time at mama's. Larry enjoyed the trip and I'm so thankful he had a good time. It was the first time in 8 years since mama moved there that he was able to go visit with me. He was always the dog and cat keeper while I went. It was almost 2 years since I last saw mama. You, my sistahs made the trip possible and I love y'all.

Good morning everyone, ooooh croissants, YUM! Still snowing here, it's been almost non-stop since Sunday night. We have well over a foot of snow on the ground! Here's a picture of what will become our shade garden... look at how deep the snow is on the furniture!

We stopped at Newfoundgap to take a few pictures. Luckily the hwy 441 was open through the Smoky National Park and Larry got to experience the P loop roads driving through the park.

Is there anyone with good warm blood that would give Rick a transfusion? I want to move where it snows. If I was still in my house in Colfax, Ca I would be living in the snow right now. That was one reason why my late hubby and I bought the little house. It was just high enough to get a little snow and just low enough to get good warm weather.

Mama's cliff hanger house has some underground rooms too.

There's always a crowd in Gatlingburg.
