Debra, I served take out Chinese to our last Governor several years ago, we also saw him and his family at the grocery store all the time. I haven’t seen this Governor except for in places you’d expect. We live in the state capital, so I know what you mean. I’ve never been to the Governor’s mansion though.

Jaye, it got pretty cold but didn’t hit the low they were predicting. The lowest I can remember here was around 15 degrees. I’m not saying I’m at all happy with 20, but far better than 9. We had delayed school yesterday (started at 11 rather than 9) I’m so glad that we didn’t have it today; I want to go back to bed. I want it to snow enough Wed. that the State does inclement weather day off. It will take a lot less to keep the kids home and I really don’t want them all day.

Deborah, love the cliff hanger house.I bet the view is to die for? I can just close my eyes, and see all of us sitting out on the back porch, and drinking some wine, and just talking and giggling all night long!!!

Well then the talking will go with the walking. he is so pokey. I hate grocery shopping with him, I take off and go gather small things while he is still looking over the meat. The only thing he hurries too is the bathroom. His bladder is smaller than a peanut,LOL. I told him I was going to get him one of the leg bag catherters (sp) for when we ride the Harley or go fishing.

Linda K, mama would love for all of us to visit her. She has plenty of room to sleep counting pallets on the floor. We could have a pj mountain party!

LOL... you're so funny Cindy. You'd be surprised at how many of those leg bags are found at the stadiums... Don said he sees a lot of men emptying them in the urinals at the stadiums when he goes to the mens room.... LOL
Like.. they don't want to miss that score for something like going to the bathroom... too funny to me.

Cindy, Larry does too expecially after drinking a pot of coffee in Cherokee. He annointed several mountain laurels before we finished the drive through the park. Probably chased all the elk from the area and woke up the bears. lol I remember stopping 2 times maybe 3 before we finished the hour drive of 20 miles.

Welcome back Deborah, my what a trip!!! One year Kim and I rented a cabin in Pidgeon Forge for a week --sleeps 6 and had a hot tubl!!! Being we were there in the off season it was really a good deal. We could all do that one year maybe? What fun, what laughter, what trouble!!!!! Malls galore, Dollywood (don't laugh we had fun) and I know where there is a real kewl quilting shop!!!! The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen so we did most of our cooking there--still ate out alots but really enjoyed it.

Debra, I will come run with you on the ice if I can do it sitting down. I might as well start out on my rear end as I would be there after the first step!! I could call it ice sledding.

Brenda, what a lovely picture but that is getting to be a lot of snow.

Ladies we are pedicted to get to 77 today and 79 by Friday. Time to dig out the shorts again!!

It was either colder than I thought, or the temp. dropped since I got up, but it's about 15 out there now. We don't have clothes for this type weather.

My computer is taking a long time on Dave's Only the other I can get fast I have to copy and paste all my typing cause I don't want to losse it

Flamingo Kim, I live about 70 miles from Deborah in Cordele, GA . I am basically just across the state line. I will be here with the exception of 7 and 8 of Janurary as I have a festival board meeting in Gainesville I need to attend.

Marion, will you HUSH about your warm weather. It is raining here and only 38 burrrrr. I may not be going to the bowling alley tonight to sell my candles, because I think it is snowing up there.

Cindy, we has our fair share of cold rainy weather last week. I think that is why everyone is getting sick down here. Cold, miserable rain and now hot--not good. You know there is nothing to stop you from coming to where it is warmer! LOL HInt, hint.

Phyllis stay warm and safe. When does your break start? My daughter's starts today and I am not sure if that is good or bad. Good in that she will be able to help get some of the house cleaned; bad in that we find all kinds of trouble to get into!!!

It is super cold in my opinion. I expect I'll stop being super busy one of these days, but I could be deluding myself, I'll at least be on here more like normal before too long.

Deborah, your mama's house is gorgeous. What can you see from the back deck? Must be able to see forever from up there. Glad you had a good time. If the rhodedendrums start turning yellow along the parkway we will know why. LOL!

The dogs enjoyed their run in the ice. Woody took off after a deer of course and romped around on the property next to ours but he was a good boy and came back after 5 minutes or so. He did get some much needed exercise. Maybe he won't chew any slippers tonight.

Marion I just checked google maps and Debroah's is 8 hour drive from Susan's in Virigina thats not bad most of the time I drive 10 hours dependes on weather and the sight seeing I do Some times it just to hard to take a picture when driving so I have to stop. Is Judy Seedtosser Yes. Is she flying or driving

Its starting to snow I wonder if my Dad is still going to stop here I have Breakfast half made he is 85 and went to the Dr. at the VA Hospital today and its 50 miles one way and they are calling for bad weather and its cold I think its 8 well I will be back Later

Im blown away by the snow pictures and especially that beautiful cabin in TN.. WOW looks like one near the one we rented a few ears ago when we went up to pigeon forge TN.. Decided that was one place I could go and nevr return from...lol Still miss the snow a bit from Ohio but the weather here isnt to shabby either.. (just gets TOO hot) Today will be just right here at 76 for the high locally in Jax..

Also our Door is always open for coffee company but my cofffee pot only makes 2 cups at a time..lol Max doesnt drink it and I really only do when its cold cold... Hot cocoa is on hand even in summer though!

Find me some Ice and I will run on it with you! Just be prepared because I know i will fall so I mill need some help getting up..
