I had to look up the word "confuddled" and this is what it says in the Urban Dictionary: Being confuddled is when your confused about being confused but u dont know wot your confused about so your completly confuddled.

Wow! The freezing rain has been coming down for a couple of hours now. Don't have to go in at 7:30am for sure. Don't know what the inclement weather plan is but will find out in the morning. Very glad we didn't go to the FBI dinner tonight. Might not have been able to get home at all.

Cindy, your reindeer are the cutest! Where did you say you got the pattern? I'd like to try my hand one day - maybe for next Christmas.

Woody has chewed at least 3 house slippers tonight. He has gone to our closet and brought back at least 6 shoes, chewed 3 pretty badly, and he and Holli 'retrieved' a pair of wooden birds off the coffee table and chewed them. Ugh! They have too much energy pent up - we are going for a run in the ice tomorrow. Anyone want to join us?

Looks like everyone has been very busy crafting.. I really love the reindeer in green and the Mr & Mrs Santa..
I cant wait until we can get to a place where I can get into crafting a few items..

Today we got the lights hung outside, weeded a few beds, and Max is back at work.. He worked from 7am -1 and now from 730 to probably 4 am... Told him to call and let me know if he wasnt going to be tooo late I may try to stay up.. He likes to wind down watching a movie cudlling up ogether on the couch after work so we are hoping it ay be a 1-2 am early release night.. Just have to wait and see.

Sending sunshine to those in need.. And alittle extra warmth from the sunshine state..

Question for the Fairie Lovers in the room..

Has anyone seen a native american inspired woodland fairie? I have always loved faires and would love to incorporate maybe a few in the bedroom for my personal touch.. Once the kids rooms are done then I get to start on ours and Max is trying to make room and box up his radio stuff he doesnt use (old heath kits) that Tony isnt into yet.. Hopefully I will have a regular bedroom soon instead of a parts store.....lol

Right now the walls are sage green (very calming for me) and all the furntiure is ld walnut that was my mom and dads while I was a child before they got divorced. I love the mix of the earthy tones in the wood and the green but need a few added accents to go along with the few items I have in there.

Debra, I've had that pattern for 17 years and it is pretty worn. LK found a place online and bought one. Here is the # McCalls 4532. If I know I'm going to use a pattern alot of times I put Heat N Bond a piece of fabric on the pieces that is what I did with a few pieces of this pattern.

Donna, you could paint your own Native sprites!! Take a cue from that doll, do some research to their costumes, or better yet, ask sistah Judy for tips. She might be able to lead you to more "kosher" Native American fairies..

Hmm now thats an idea too. See you all keep this up and come spring I will never get outside to get back into the gardens.. I really do like the ne you found though its really beautiful.. That is definately a very nice piece although I agree its a bit pricey..

Yeah I found a few I had to double take when I was searching I would love to keep them child friendl yas Im sure Tristen will fall head over heels when she see any of them. She loves Tinkerbell and asked me tonight about doing her room with anything horses.. I have never been strong at drawing horses but I may be forced to practice since she asked for them on her wall.. Maybe I could practice sketching them and then add the faires on my copies.. OOO my brain is crunching again...

Yeah I guess I will get back to the full swing of the gardens but there is so oo much out there I wear oout fast.. Hope to finish weeding the fron tomorrow, then maybe plant a few gardenias..

I am glad I have the Elec. Lap robe ....it is suppose to be 9 degrees here tonight! We don't have the insulation for much of that kind of weather!!!! They are saying we may have a lot of this cold through the first of the year!!

Trisha do try your best to keep warm. I remember 9 degrees and I must say although I miss the snow my past injuries dont miss that cold.. Willl keep hot cocoa going here for you if you need it...

Oh my, Trisha! We've never seen 9* weather here since I've been here. Maybe 14* the least. When it gets that cold, you bet we'll use our electric blanket too. Thank God it's dual control. I'll be at the highest setting, while Kel will turn his to the lowest!

Sacred Earth hAS NICE SITES. However, if it is Native American art...it will be pricey!
The works of arts are stunning. Depends on how much you are willing to spend.

9* reminds me of home.. In 89 I flew home to spend Christmas with my dad in Ohio .. I remember it was -7* and too cold to now in Columbus when I arrived and when I called my mom to tell her we had no snow it was snowing here in Jacksonville.. She got part of my whie christmas I prayed for so hard even after I left...

Hmm never thouht of that.. Normally I free-hand everything but that would help wit hthe scale problem I have on the horses. Mine always look like sick tall greyhounds....

That was the year too it snowed in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana! The sheriff had to force the plant to shut down as Cajuns are not used to driving in the snow.

Phyllis how wonderful you have all those recipes handed down. Neither my grandmother nor my mother ever made a cookie. Mom will be 90 Feb. 4th and she still has never baked a cookie. I wasn't lucky enough to have an family favorites to be passed on. Had to start it myself.

YW, lol. I can't wait for Christmas to be over so I can start working on other things. I have a plastic tote filled with unfinished projects. I'm in the mood to sew and that is what's in the tote unfinshed teddy bears, dinasors, doll clothes, etc...

Ok quilters here is your chance to view the first round of my machine quilting...just remember this is my FIRST time EVER doing this and it is on a regular sewing machine no hoop just me and my hands and the sewing foot.
I figured start in the middle and work out that way any uneven edges I can square up.
Be honest too :)


Oh and Jaye IF I knew it would be successful I would cook and bake all day...LOL
