I'm here, just got busy this morning with Don, then had to take my son to the bank to get some things straightened out.

BJ, The santa from top of head to tip of Beard 3 3/4 inches long and 2 inches wide...we are looking for something to go with that, probably around 2 3/4 x 1 3/4 give or take a little.....

The one that I use for my small Mrs. Santa is 1 1/2 x 1 inch....

I know how you feel, I am having trouble getting into Christmas this year....I am having fun making Santa's but just can't get excited about the rest of it......Sage and Laura got my tree out yesterday....we got the lights on, sort of.....and Sage put 2 boxes of Candy Canes on it....that
is as far as it has gotten.......suppose I will have to finish it here soon...if nothing else to get the rest of the boxes out of the front room.

Had to return.. halfway there and Kel realised the main guest to the dinner party is left behind!!!
Yep... when he changed clothes, he forgot to bring his new billfold along!! So, it's chicken soup, chips and cheese sandwich for us!!! Lolol!

Marion the cookies I made are ones that my grandma used to make when we were kids and my mom made them and now I make them...mom still does too though and IF I had the time and supplies I would make divinity too and I have to make fudge yet for DH and it has to have chunks of nuts in it or it isn't fudge to him LOL...I just haven't made snicker doodles yet I love those and DH loves choc chip with more nuts then choc. LOL

Darn! Thought I posted here earlier but it 'poofed'!

Getting a little nasty here. Temps in the 20's and some precipitation. DH and I canceled our plans to attend a dinner tonight. Hate to miss it but we live so far out that if it gets bad while there we will have a long, hazardous drive home. It was to be a dinner at the Governor's Mansion with the FBI. Talk about a room full of 'men in black'. LOL! DH was in the last FBI Citizen's Academy so we now attend some FBI events. Tomorrow night is a Bar Assoc dinner at the Gov's Mansion - how about that - hob nobbing with the Gov two nights in a row! LOL! (keep in mind this is Arkansas - not CA or NY) Then Wed night is a family get together at my aunt's house. I WANT TO SIT HOME IN FRONT OF THE FIREPLACE AND DO NOTHING!!!!

Susan, if that's only a fraction of your Streps collection, I can imagine how obsessed you are with your plants! I'm that way with the brugs.
It's a good hobby though, Susan. The plants are small and manageable and all that's required is some hardware, like constant light.

Debra sistah, I do hope you'd find time to take long soaks to unwind. Hope you won't get too stressed on a demanding schedule..... Take extra vitamins too.

Since I have been home, i have been playing Housewife, mom...Never thought i would enjoy t so much to stay home.

Y^ou've seen my house has always been pretty messy...so I have been Decluttering, decorating, crafting, cooking, and een baking!!
Made my first ever Corn bread!! Also, I made a Chicken Pot pie...I got the idea from I think one of the Sistahs but can't remeber who. OH my Gosh! Made a large and a small, LOL went a bit nuts with the ingredients...anyway the family DEVOURED it, not even a morstle left.
LOL, i guess they liked it.

OH, Debra, Yes my friend loved all three. Made two for her and a tiny one for her Soap like Doborah made for me. She was estatic that I made them, custom fit to her littlebitty self. Thank you on my Santas...lets see for have been made. I have one left for a gift, it will be purple. and a Red one I will sew and then my son will create it...he wants to make it for Grandma.

Soo thats why i've not been on, once i got started...just kept at it till...yikes and yow...still lots to do.
I thought I better come and take a break tell you all hello, I miss you all but now I'm on a major roll here.

By the way Judy, I've not known of a mother that can retire from mum's work!

Wow I wasnt gone all that long and yet we found another room already... I love that you all chat everyday !! :)

I went out and watered all my plants, weeded another bed, removed some dead plants and so on and so on...
Max got in from work around one and his boss just picked him back up for yet another shift.. He went out while I was at the post office and hung the lights on the house finally.. They look so nice and the great thing is they are different from what we have had.. My nieghbors bought new multi color lights and gave us their old white swag lights and I love them.. Very pretty against the red brick home in my humble opinion.

Everyones creations are great... I reallly like the reindeer in green. .

Who was it that got the fairie?? I got lost but it is beautiful.. I like the green woodland faries I have seen. I even have a few on my myspace page..
