My mom said I looked like a little skinny monkey. I think I was in the hospital 3 days with my daughter. I was at the bowling alley when she dropped. Wasn't home 1/2 hour my water broke, but she wasn't born until 4 that afternoon.

Well Here is part of my shelf that I have been cleanning I can't get a good picture I send one that have all my AV and Family of African Violets
WOW... Kim... all those are in your house... And Don thinks he hears jungle noises on my sun porch!!! ... I don't have near the number of plants out there as you do in your house... sheesh.
Speaking of which... these plants on my sun porch seem to need an awful lot of water for some reason... I figured I'd need to water them about once a week... instead, I'm watering twice a week, and will probably need to go to every other day soon... and I'm not even burning a heater out there yet... hmmmm....
Also... I have a question... Somebody sent me a "Shirley Temple Peony" last summer... and I didn't get it in the ground. It was still in a gallon pot, so I brought it in with the rest of my pots, and is on the sun porch. It was thriving and green outside... but now it's lost it's leaves, and looks dead. What's wrong? Is it supposed to do that? Does it die back and come back in the spring? I've never grown a peony before, so I'm real disappointed in myself... did I kill it?
BJ, that sounds so pretty, but I don't know anything about them either. Wish I could help you out with it.
How are those new critters coming along????
LK
Hello Ladies,
Got out of work early today so ran to the store to get some cold cuts and now I am home.... It is raining here and the temp is 66 can you believe it??? Last week we were freezing now were hot again... Can't make up its mind.... Oh Santa looks really good... Going to play with my plants for a few, but I just wanted for you all to know I am still alive and kicking.... Be back in a little...
Love to the Sistha's...
Susan
Puhleez post pics of your puppies Brenda! We're puppy crazy here!
Each time I think I need to add another, I think of the vets' expenses. Got to give them the best treatment and even their food. The cats only eat good food too, and Ali our oldest, has to be on a special diet, vet prescribed only. Kel says he works his behind off for his furry babies and my quilting fabric!!
Cindy, Cindy, Cindy.. our biggest ENABLER so far. I don't think I'll attempt that globe!
Thank you 'deer' sistah Debra. Just like you to come up with such en-deer-ing Christmas jingles :P
Thanks for dropping in Linda and letting us know that Donna won't be around. We shan't be sending the cops after her!! Hope you got the best renter for your trailer.
Maid M... why not your ladybug first? You're always thinking of everyone's well being here. (moreover you're actually the matriach of the clan..lol)
BJ, I had tried to defy my MIL's advice that peonied don't do well here. She's right.. so I left them alone, even tried the one that suggested up to zone 8. Apparently it's not cold enough here. But I love them, and closest to peonies will be the camellias.
Wow Kim.. so you and Susan are our experts on AV? Now I really will be paying attention to what's offered at the box stores!
I am no expert by any means...LOLOL but I can grow them... ok be back after I take some pictures and play with them for a few...
Hugs,
Susan
BJ, I have a peony that I had in a pot for like 2 years. It never bloomed and yes every winter mine did exactly like yours and yes they come back in the spring. Mine is in the ground now so we will see if it will bloom this year.
New candle scents today:
Lemon
Honey Baked Pear
Cinnamon Crunch
Cinnamon Vanilla
No expert either, BJ, but mine would die back after a freeze then sprout in the spring. Peonies are sloooooow to get established and don't like to be moved. Mine got pulled up and thrown out this year when that bed was renovated. (they probably didn't like that either!)
Mom just called and wants to go to Wally World....I don't want to do much of anything....wet and dreary today.....
Will think about the modeling......the earrings would be great, the background would be a bit scary.......
Wish I had a camera in the bathroom last night......the cat always lets herself in to visit and get her ears rubbed......she saw the froggie brush and stopped.......slowly stuck her nose over and sniffed of it then jumped back...sniffed again....and gave the LOOK when I started to laugh at her....it was soooo funny to watch her....
Waving to all, talk to you later I can hear mom tapping her foot now.....She Loved the Jiffy Corn Casserole......now she wants ALL of the recipes.....I'm supposed to bring some with me!!
well I am debatting If I should go to this Afternoon X_Mass Party for work I have taken a shower But I have to go by myself
Iam a big girl I think I can do this I work with the guys and I am always wearing Jean and a Tee shirt maybe I will get dressed up depends on what I look like I should be ready in a hour maybe you guys can tell be how I look If you think I Fat HAHAHAHAH Or to skinny
Flamingo Kim
KIM!!!!!!!!!! I can knock you over with a feather!!!!!!
Woo Hoo... Kim... you go to that party girlfriend... and knock em dead... those guys won't know what hit em...
Ok... TA DA !!!!
Here we go... I have 4 garden stakes finished to remind me of my sistahs in my garden... but be patient, I'm not finished yet... go two more in the works... and thinking about how to do some others... eventually, I'll have one for each of you in my garden.
First... guess who this one represents...
BJ!!!!!!! DANG!!! Those are AWESOME, lol can't wait to see a purple butterfly
Kim, dress up Girl!! Strut your stuff, yea!!!
You didn't guess, Cindy...
Got two butters cooking now. But, the wings have to bake before I can assemble them on the ornament... butterflies are a bit tricky.
Marion,
Stacey,
Sis Kathy,
Me or Trish!!
So.. what did I win, BJ?
They are so cute!!!! Can't wait to see what you can come up with! Oh my God.. I think you're just about put smiles on all that see them!
Go on Kim.. knock them fellas silly!! You look good sistah, after you cleaned up!! Lolol.. serious, no worries.. you'll be the star at the party!
OH DUD dumb me. But I knew who they were, lol. I'm amazed BJ those are really good. So how about some lessons?
Oh my!!! They are all adorable---you are doing one fantastic job sistah!!! Such talent!! I love the ladybug but the froggie with an attitude is halarious!!! Noone in this group with an attitude is there? I can't wait to see them in your garden--May hurry and get here!!!
Nope, Jaye... Who in our group collects "blue" fairies?... not Stacey... someone else.
And, that froggie is Trisha... got something else in mind for you.
But, you did get Marion and Cuz Kathy right. Two out of four aint bad.
Lessons? hmmm... I haven't a clue how I'd even go about doing that here. I have found out that 90% of it is just patience... and getting some sort of a shine on it with a lot of sanding and polishing... someday, I'll figure that part out a little better.
Thanks, Marion... I can't wait either... actually, I really should be working on Christmas right now, instead of Spring garden stuff... but, I'm just not in the mood for Christmas this year. Don scolded me last night because I haven't done the Christmas shopping yet... I'm thinking that gift cards won't take that long to buy, huh?
LK!! dUHHHH... she's the one with the odd color fairy!!
I agree... I don't think "blue" when I think of fairies either... so that was a challenge.
I can wait on perfection, BJ. Have all the time in the world for that bestest frog ever. Ask Marion, she has graced me with patience :D
P.S.
Just don't make it pink!!!
Jaye you like lizards too right?
Honey baked pear and cinnamon crunch sound good to me Cindy.
Kim go WOW em all.
Bj all you have to do is give us basic lessons. I've never worked with the stuff and I think it would be fun, even if they turn out looking like the leaning tower of pizza mixed with purple butterfly wings and a dragonfly tail. You're doing such a great job. I love the critters. 'BJ's Babies'
I'm tired of Christmas and winter, I'd like to gear up for spring, make it get here faster.
Jaye, hanging head in shame!!!! I am just slow on somethings--used to drive Ross insane!!!!
Who asked the question about peonies. You can keep them in a container til spring. They will drop their leaves and go dormant, but unless they have a good long cold period I don't think they will bloom for you, at least not like they do up here. They can be very finicky and sometimes the most stubborn plant.
Hmmm... Robin... now you got me thinking that to represent you I'm going to have to come up with a leaning tower with butterfly wings and a dragon tail... hmmmm... well, I guess that could be considered a fantasy... right?
Wowzers, Kim! You clean up good! LOL! You should definitely go to the party looking that good. Have fun.
Amazing, BJ, just amazing.
According to the calender winter isn't here yet, lol this is still fall. Yep and a cold one too.
Robyn do you have snow? The cinnamon crunch smells like a graham cracker
It was me that asked that about peonies... I've got it on the sunporch, and it won't get really cold out there... should I set it outside so it will experience the cold?
Oh my, it is a blue angel. BJ, they are so gorgeous!!!! I love them all. And yes we wnat lessons. Not like we will all run out and get the supplies, but just want to know how you did them? Wonderful job indeed.
Attitude? Whats that? LOL
Kim, Hope your at your party having a great time!
LK

Actually, the supplies to do these were common household stuffs...
I'll think about the lessons... maybe take pics of the next one I do, as it's in progress...
Hmmm... we'll call it "What to do with all those OLD Glass Ornaments you don't want anymore"... LOL
