Morning sistahs.. am late for scheduled appointment, will return to address all. Thanks for the coffee Trisha.. I need it.
Stacey, you're such a good hostess.. tea in the morning will sure soothes a sistah's stomach.
Please send positive T & Ps to Dixie, Brenda's sister and continue praying for all in need. You all have formed the fortress that we need!
Catch you all later and WOW BJ.. Kel dropped his jaw at another BJ Original!

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

I brought my post over from the last page.
I'm doing good, Cindy. The trip to my mamas is long over due. This will be the first time Larry's been to her house in 7 years since she's been up there. Lisa is eating (being fed by a nurse) That's a good sign. I use to bowl and loved it. Our bowling alley closed down tho. Wasn't in a league or any type competition, only for the fun of it. I hope you sell all your candles. They are wonderful. My sunroom smells like a Christmas tree with that particular one. So clean and refreshing to smell.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

It's amasing what Trisha and BJ can do with polymer clay!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

There you are.. .. Deborah, does that mean you won't be seeing Judy?
Ok... Kel just hollered. :D
See you lovelies later!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Yes it is, and I'm going to give it another try. I thinking it will be good for my hands, the artritis is so bad that I think I have to have surgery on my thunbs. It really hurts to move them. So maybe working with the clay will help with the range of motion to keep them limber.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Judy and family is coming the day after Christmas to my house to spend the night. This weekend is Kathy's annual Christmas party. I'll miss it since I'll be going to mamas house.

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

Yes I agree Deb. Cindy is one of our girls that is good at lots of things. We have a lot of ladies here that is good at many many things.

Just got off the phone HE is on his way home today, will be home sometime in the wee hours of the morning. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Cindy, I can sympathize with you on the arthritis! I have it all over, but sometimes my hands don't want me to even type! Do you take any arthritis meds for it? I take 2 a day, and without it I probably couldn't walk as well as I do, or use my fingers at all! You really do great craft work with those hands!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Where has he been working? HE is your husband right?

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

Yep he is in Rome Georgia.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

I take 400 mg of Celebrex, plus I use aspercreme like it is hand lotion ( I added some lavender oil) and I have some finger less gloves with copper in them, plus a pararffin wax bath.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

what kind of work does he do?

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

He works on power plants. rebuilds the turbines.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Morning Ladies... PLEASE keep our Kathy in your prayers today... she's having a really, really bad day. I won't go into it, but she's really needing strength that only God can provide.

Thanks for all the compliments on the bird and Mr. Bee... but it was Cindy that put the seed of inspiration in my head... I don't know what will be next... but I'm thinking about it... we'll let this one be a surprise.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Cindy, I love those wax bath's. They are so nice. I use them for my feet, and for my hands. I bought some new wax at Sally's beauty supply, and it smells nice. I bought the eucalyptus smell. They had others smells, but not to my taste.

Look what I got in the mail!!! I got this package from Deborah, and wanted to say thank you sooooo much, got the matching froggie sock, and for a new pair as well!!!
Thank you very much!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Those are too cute!! Froggie Buddy, how cute is that? I haven't tried any other wax as I've got tons, my mom stocked up on it, LOL. I had gotten that for my mom when she had her hands operated on. But she quit using it, so I took it back lol. Mine now!!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

((((((((((((((((((Kathy)))))))))))))))))), hurry and get well we miss you.

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

((((((((((((((((((((Kathy)))))))))))))) P&T's heading your way.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Kathy's fine physically, but emotionally... well, not so good. Prayers do work, and we need to ask God to give her strength to get through it.

Our power went out last night. Well, out here our power can go out without notice... but especially when it rains. We had a bad storm come through, and it put the power out about 5 hours. I've spent the whole morning rebooting computers, routers, setting clocks... ugh... I just hate it when that happens.

My turn to watch Don now... he's back in Dallas... and on his way to work a game here... will be home late tonight... and I haven't got very much done in the house, like I had planned.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

LOL playing with your clay, huh BJ? Same here, I didn't get squat done, with Rick hanging around. Finally I told him to get off his lazy bum and get the Christmas lights up outside. LOL they were all lite, before he put them up, then afterwards lol 3 sections OUT!!! He was MAD!! Told him not to worry about it. geez temper temper. He went to his new job YEA!!

Kathy, please don't get too stressed out. Just turn all your problems over to Him, and He will handle it all.
Wish we could all be there for group hug.
God Bless

Great job Bj, they are so cute. How about a dragonfly?

Phyllis you're doing an excellent job too. My great granny always said it's not the perfection of the stitches but the love and devotion you put into the blanket. God is the perfect one not you.

Sending prayers out to you Kathy.

Got more lights put up outside this morning, I need to do 2 more strands and then I am done.

Going to start baking this afternoon after I make a blue Santa hat for my granddaughter to wear in the Parade Saturday and take the white sash off her dress that she is wearing for the Miss and Mr. Merry Christmas pageant so I can put a black on in it's place.

Myrtle Beach, SC(Zone 8b)

I had surgery on my thumb last year. Boy what a difference. I was in constant pain and couldn't hold anything. Prayers to Kathy. Those garden critters are precious

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Marion, it’s not so much “this time of year” as too much random stuff going on this week.

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

I have a standard prayer out for the physical, mental, emotional and financial well being of everyone on here, but I'll put a particular note on Kathy in.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Well I think it should be a Ladybug BJ does next!! Oh BTW, morning sistahs and the coffee was wonderful. So was the tea and bagels Tink. You forgot the tomatoes and garlic cream cheese though. LOL

Just checking in briefly before leaving for my eye appointment. Hope he says I just have eyes but one never knows as the years start passing.

Tina in MB you have had the surgery on the thumb? Did it really help, I think I am to that stage now as it is getting so I can barely use it! Not good with I type so much and craft and sew. Are you staying war?

Waving to Cindy, take care of your hands and thumb too--had 3 surgeries on hands now looks like a thumb feels left out.

Oh my at the beautiful pictures of all the decorations and Snow!!!!! I can really share in a white Christmas now!! Keep them coming sistahs.

Kathy, sending huge hugs your way!!! You have just about more than your share of trouble and just know we are all here, praying and loving you!! Brenda prayers for your sister also.

Gotta run and shower. Will chat later.

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Kathy, I know how hard it is to turn ANYTHING over to Him! Don't worry, we'll do it for you! You hang in there, you will get through this! Hugs!!!!!!!

Myrtle Beach, SC(Zone 8b)

Marion- Yes it really helped - no more pain and dropping things. It was well worth the healing time.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

What did they do to it?

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

BJ...love the ornaments!

Dolores, CO(Zone 5b)

Kathy, I don't know what you're dealing with, but all my good thoughts and prayers are with you. Remember, you never know what blessings lie around the corner waiting for you!

My sister Dixie is doing well this morning, it was her appendix and they did surgery at 12:30 am this morning. My Mom says Dr. thinks it went very well. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. You're awesome!

Glad you're enjoying the Christmas lights... here is a pic of our upstairs Christmas tree. Last year Tony got me a tripod for my camera for Christmas, and I am loving it... that is what allowed me to take the pics of the house last night in the dark. (Slow shutter speed requires tripod).

Hoping your hands feel better, ladies. I love the parafin wax dip too... it's just so warming and pleasant. Hugs to all!

Brenda

Love all the beautiful ornaments on your tree, Brenda.

Kathy, one day at a time, sweetie. Stay busy and enjoy your company.

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Ladies please fill me in on the paraffin wax thing. What do you do with it? other than coating jelly jars and such.

Myrtle Beach, SC(Zone 8b)

Cindy was that question about the thumb??

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Yes, tina what did they do for your thumb?

Robyn, I was talking about the paraffin wax bath that I use for my aching hands. Arthritis, relly bad in both thumbs.

Myrtle Beach, SC(Zone 8b)

They removed the bone that was deteriorating and replaced it with tendons from my arm. Google "arthritus in the base of the thumb" it explains it in detail.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

The wax bath, is a container like a crock pot, that you fill with special wax. then heat it up, and place your hands or feet in one at a time. it is like a deep heat treatment, and it feels so good. You don't need to have arthritus to enjoy one of these! They sell them just about anywhere. I got mine at Wal-mart a few years ago, and even my 9 year old granddaughter loves to soak her feet! It just feels good, and it leaves your skin so soft!
Don't use regular parafin wax, it will not peel off that easy. And watch out for the heat control, it can get too hot for you.

Here is an update on the reindeer. I have the deer all sewn, and have the dresses made for the girls, now I just need to make the boy clothes! And I have to finish the faces.
