Very good Cindy. I have some more containers but just haven't gotten them boxed--need to find a really sturdy box.

Hi Deborah, You should be getting the candles today.
OH Cool! I'm done with Christmas. After the new year I'm starting on the Valentine line, I did very well with that last year.
Very good to you also Deborah. I really hope I didn't upset you the other night but I was so mad!!!! I don't usually react to things like that but as could tell my blood was boiling. Just please follow through.
That is my part Egyptian Mau and that is the color of their eye--gooseberry green with red brick noses.
Cindy, the postman just knocked on the door and I haven't opened the boxes yet, Jayes burgs came too. Yea!
Marion, I apprieciate your call more than you know! Helped me feel justified in writing my complaint down on paper!
Love your cat! Marion!
Well I did realize I was so upset but it truly bothered me when I read your post.
There are times you could have my cat!!! She actually was Ross' cat and just in the past 2 years has decided she had better be nice to me--the hands that open the food container.
Afternoon, Ladies...
Just wanted to pop in for a minute and ask for prayers for my 10 year old neice. They have discovered she is deaf in her left ear and could very well go deaf in the other one from some "syndrome" that my brother couldn't remember the name of. She goes for a CT scan on Christmas Eve...so please, please add her to your prayer list.
Cookie
You have it from here for sure Cookie!!! So so sorry to read that!!! Please keep us updated. Sending huge hugs--a little wet but nevertheless a huge hug.
Hi Deborah!
Oh yes...you can see my dress in the photo.
I wanted to have a white buckskin wedding dress. So my mumma asked a very good friend and Aunt to make it for me.
It is a traditional wedding dress. LOL, it was unheard of to wear a headress and a veil together...but i only intend to get married once, so I had to have both. Anyway My dress was made via mail. I took all my measurement and sent them along with a blouse and the White Doe Skin...We insured the package because it was pretty expensive. Anyway Mumma's friend lost the measuments and so had to send another set...Then, she asked how tall I was, ROFLOL, mumma didn't know so she showed her with her hand at a certain height and said Babe's about this tall...So i was a nervous wreck, had absolutley no idea what my dress was even going to look like. Steve and i went to the Rez for Easter the week before our wedding. All of the my headress was made by my sister Carol Bear...she alo did the bead work on my moccasins. The belt was made by my grandmother, for my brother's dancing clothes he wanted me to have it, so Carol also made a rose to cover his initials...So when i tried everything on Was delighted that it fit me perfectly....I have worn it twice, since our wedding...to dance in the pow wow at Bear River...
ok so here is what was going to post but i had problems with scanner, so i hope this come thru.
What a cutie!!
OMG gosh, I am freezing...Wow, going to have to adjust the therms.
Have enjoyed my day so far, slowly doing nothing!
Thanks Fairy, looking forward to hearing(seeing) your Story.
...LOLthat was the first time Steve asked me to marry him.
The second time was camping at Bigfoot State park. He asked me in the middle of
the lake we were swimming in.
Here we are April 12, 1985
That is a beautiful dress, and story to go with it. You look so happy!
LK
Babe, you are beautiful!
Hi all....back for a few minutes before I have to take mum shopping.........
Marion, It is cold.....beautiful sunshine but was low thirties here last night....should make the high 40's or maybe low 50's .......rain is on the way so the nights will warm up a little.....
Love the Kitty!!!!! A real beauty.
Hope you sell lots of candles Cindy!!!
Deborah.....keep writing!!! Hugs and prayers to you and Lisa.
Cookie your niece is definitely in our prayers also.
Judy, Beautiful dress!!!!!
Oh Judy what an absolute treasure!! Such a wonderful story about the dress and certainly one that I hope is being passed on to your children!! The dress as well as the story.
Trisha, it is sunny off and on now but I think it is about low 50s--not going to make the 60s as predicted. Thanks about my cat--she is a resuce--can you believe that!! Since she has grown up I can see what Ross saw from the beginning--a real beauty but spicy!!! Truly one person animal and the first 2 years after his death we had a real love hate relationship. She finally saw it my way!!!
Trisha, are you around. I got my box of cards, from the secret santa online swap. Thank you so much, it is all beautiful, now I need to find the thread, and post pictures.
Thank you for everything.
LK
Now I realy regret not participating in the Secret Santa Swap. If I had know my plans for the day would have gone down the tube--I would have!! Well you know what that say about hindsight being 20/20.,.....
And then I also got a beautiful blue angel, that is an ornament as well as a scissor holder, and a pair of socks to go with my collection, and then I got the feet that go with my bird feeder she sent earlier this year. the feet were missing, so she made me a new pair. I need to wait for her to get home, so she can tell me how to attach them.
Thank you Trisha, for everything. I love it all.

Really nice things Linda Kay. I need to either turn up the heat or get a jacket--it is freezing in here. I hate cold damp weather, can never get warm.
Marion, you need to stay warm, can't have you getting sick! get a hot cup of coffee, or tea?
LK
I just did. Just this dampness--that is what is so bad about our winters.
Where is everyone today. I guess it is Friday, and everyone is off doing errands?
LK
I'm here, multitasking...finishing decorating and getting ALL candle labeled and priced.
Received 6 new scxents today
Snow Fairy

Cindy!!!! Kel called me to let me know your Granny Treat arrived!! Of course, it's at the shop..and he says he's gonna make the trip to his parents and show it off first, before coming home with it!! That man!!! He is just thrilled that I got all these fantastic sistahs who I have never seen, and care enough to do the very best for me. Also his way of telling his mum.. that I am a great person.. and that I am loved!! (see my smug smile ^_^)
Marion, please email me that historical pic of your family's palmetto hut. I'd love for my family to see it. This is the first time I've seen one. Interesting. I recalled visiting relatives' homes in Malaysia with palm fronds roofs, in the 60's. We'd called them "attap" huts.
Your cat is 'bewitching'. Mau in the Malay language means "Want". Somehow cats are way too smart.. they don't have masters, they have attendants..
And you need take a pic of that quilt, spread out. It's absolutely beautiful.
Judy, you look so happy and Steve must be in a hurry to take you out of that church and off to the honeymoon!! Lol!!!
Beautiful dress on a beautiful Indian doll!!
Of course Joyce, I'll add your niece to my prayer list.
Yayy Deborah. Hope they do well for you. Well I'm glad I got most of the cuttings out.. one more to go, and that's Tina in MB. Feel like I should hand carry them to her :D
LK, you lucky gal!! Isn't Trisha amazing?
I run out of cards real fast. Always somebody somewhere that could use some loving words from us! Especially when my family and friends are scattered!!
Found out today that 2 sisters and 2 brothers along with their family will be taking a vacation to Australia for the holidays!! How lucky!! Wish I could join them. Then another sister will soon be migrating to Dubai, UAE following her husband.
None wants to come here :***(
Debra and Sis Kathy, here's a pic of my dad. He won top marskman in the Singapore Police force one year. Got his picture formally taken in a photo studio with the trophy.
Good for your dad, Jaye! That's an impressive trophy. Wish he was here today to shoot that coyote.
Judy, that's a beautiful dress! And Jaye chose the right words - Indian doll. That's what you look like - you and your sister. You both look very happy. These stories have been interesting to read.
100 handmade cards?!!! LK, you hit the jackpot! OMG! Those cards take a lot of time to make.
Joyce, are you called Cookie or is your niece's name Cookie? I never knew you were 'Cookie'.
Left the house around 1:00pm to go to the plant leasing company that is going to put plants in DH's office (still working on decorating the reception area), then on to Hobby Lobby (my second home) for some swap items, then toTarget for misc items and some Christmas shopping. I'm pooped! Need to rest up in preparation for tomorrow - am meeting my aunt tomorrow morning to shop for my mother-of-the-bride dress. Ugh! I'd like to stay home and work on some projects but I've got to find a dress very soon. It it has to be ordered some of them take 14 weeks!
Will probably go to bed early so I'll say goodnight now in case I'm not around later. Hope everyone has a restful evening and enjoy your weekends.
Well I don't know where my post went as I posted and it is not here... Oh well went to the space stars....LOL Well I got my packages packed so they are ready to go tomorrow.... I am getting ready for bed as I am beat so I will keep you all in my prayer and chat tomorrow...
Hugs,
Susan
Debra, hope you're able to find that perfect MOB dress and enjoy that second glass of wine or the whole carafe:D
Kim, are you back from your dad's yet? Hope the snow ain't too bad for you to drive in.
I can't say when not to post, if you insisted on mailing earlier Susan. Your buddy will sure appreciate what you've come up for her.
Also to and from Betty in Canada will also be mailing out earlier due to the distance.
But for other sistahs, like me.... we still have till Jan. 7th to mail out our surprises.
So Donna.. you must be busy painting still. Sit for a spell will ya and let us know if you had painted Tony and Tristen to the wall?
Trisha, are you and Laura sharing your mum's Christmas tree?
I'm about to unwind too with a hot cup of peach tea that BJ had sent. I love the aroma of fruit teas...
Went to see my aunt but she was sleeping. Everyone was pleasant and nice to me at the home. Even that nurse volunteered to tell me of her eating pattern which was very good. I'm so proud she's eating some. Maybe tomorrow will be an even better day for my aunt. I want her to walk, talk, feed herself and be able to go home. That's my prayer. Please pray this with me.
Peach tea is very good! Cold though.
You got it sistah!
Over and over again, I've always say that love manifests itself. Shows how much you love your Aunt Lisa by sticking to her like white on rice, when she really needs help.
To tell you the truth, I have never cared for cold peach tea. But love this Lipton's brand that BJ sent, and prefer it hot. It has become one of my favorite flavors. I do love Earl Grey (bergamot) and cherry stems too. Once in a while, I'll do a pot of fresh ginger root tea.
Evenin all ....got a question and need some opinions....am trying to decide which I like better so am comin to y'all for your advise.
this is the "lap"quilt I am working on for my mom and have what 2 weeks left to get it done ...hahahahahaha
which one do you like better???
I think I am leaning towards the one with the purple as the last outer edging and will also be the backside of it. but not sure
OMG... I have so much to catch up on.
Judy... I LOVE your wedding dress... really unique, and so fitting an indian princess doll. You and your sister are just gorgeous on your wedding day.
Jaye... you're dad was one proud man with that trophy
Lots of extra goodies for LK from Trisha... how special.
Jaye... I love HOT peach tea too... but tonight, I'm having camomille... hoping to sleep in a little while.
Well, I got one project finished today... and I'll be on to another tomorrow... but not tonight.
Keeping Aunt Lisa in my prayers... may the Lord touch her and heal her.
I know I'm forgetting someone... sorry.
Phyllis... I like the one with the purple outer edge too... the one on the left.
Me too Phyllis. I like the one on the left.
Love chamomile too. I read that chamomile has a lot of other benefits besides being the best before bed tea. Somehow, tea makes my kidneys work harder :D
That looks like a factory output, Cindy!
And I'm still making more, lol plus working on Tia's reindeer and Sistah swap ugh...............not enough daylight hours
