Hi Cordeledawg. I would love to take the credit for the quilt pattern but I take my quilts to be machine quilted. The lady who did these did them by machine but free hand, meaning the pattern was not from a computer. She actually moved the fabric back and forth and made all the shapes herself. I was amazed because the design is beautiful. I had her decide what to put where since the wall hanging has so many small sections. The center square actually has a heart design in it. And she only charged me $35! I sewed all the pieces together and sewed the binding on by hand.

Those odd shapped Santa/deer and snowman...I'll keep one but a set goes to a friend..odd things, you just bend the wires and create different positions..anyway, my girlfriend also loves something christmas when we go out to our 'christmas friendship luncheon'...that pretty well does the little bag...sorry, can't peek in the big one..

Fun place to shop because when you just want to give someone a token gift, it doesn't cost a fortune...

Well, in all my playing around..of course Michaels was a hit stop as well...I forgot cat food, so next door I go...

Is beautiful as are your others Jeannine...I can put the feed dogs down on my sewing machine, have a side attachment and can randomly quilt as well..think I showed you the vests that were quilted in that fashion, just never have the time...it's relaxing isn't it...which kits do you have yet to do, the ones you bought when you and your mom went to the quilt exhibit...we'll shortly have the quilt show here in Toronto as well..keeping away..just can't afford (time wise) to be getting excited about yet another hobby..should though.. is your daughter interested in sewing..so please that Melanie started to take an interest..

Spent $96.00 but if you saw what was in the other bag you'd be impressed...I'm in a couple of swaps so can't share...and then have a few friends that are feeling low right now so will post a box to them to cheer them up...

Betty, my day absolutely crawled. Everyone was saying how slow the day was going. Isn't that weird how everyone feels the same way one day? Friday tomorrow, Dave's off all weekend working his Friday tonight Woo Hoo!! The bosses were gone, which was nice and I thought I would spend some time on here but nooooo today I decided to work for whatever reason LOL Got tired of trying to balance an unbalanced bank statement and thought like if I looked at another number I was going to turn into one. Then just got flat out bored and kept dwelling on going home.

What cute animals! I love animals.

Well, I'm wiped out, going to bed. Have a wonderful night and stay safe and out of the cold!

Morning all, sunny day here in the city, not much traffic on the ride in...short day for me, 1:00 pm and then the fun begins..much to pick up, organize at home and so wanted to have the house decorated for Christmas to give all the ambiance .. you know me...who knows, if the bacon and eggs I'm having right now gives me energy, it just might ALL be done...

Morning! Friday!!! Yay!!!!!

That's a good portion of my job, to get the hot check coordinators bank statements and make sure they balance and fix those that don't. If I wanted to work with bank statements I would have gotten a degree in Accounting, not IT. If I knew the job required doing more accounting functions than IT functions I wouldn't have taken it. I hate balancing bank statements, I don't even do my own I hate it so much.

Now that I've ranted on that LOL! I'm going to have to look through my packet to make sure I received the hair, I don't remember seeing it but that doesn't mean anything.

I'm tired again and fighting it, which is making me grumpy. Sorry for ranting.

Suzanne's son-in-law's birthday Wednesday and she is having a late supper tonight for him, asked if I'd go...told her if I did, it would be pop in, eat and run...as she's coming tomorrow to do Santa's then she understands the prep I still have to do (lots for her she's doing 14 in the next few weeks) so we'll see....

It's my grandson's birthday today....he's 12...can't call Braedon because he's in Lake Placid N.Y. playing hockey for 4 days..wow those rep teams are all over the place aren't they...so grandma will have to wait..Jeff said he'd tell him I called...he's an avid reader as is Caleb..so I'll pick up gift certificate for Chapters..he loves getting those...

I've kept busy this morning, just doing my 'pick-up and to-do list'...if I'm a very good girl, get out at 1:00 exactly and start motoring, I should be home by 3:30-4:00...

Weather is great here, calling for changes though over the weekend, rain Sat./Sun. then possible snow Monday...can't believe it can change so drastically...

ok - real quick - here is the purse I finished just now. I decided to "work" from home and finish it! :)

Does she mean we're going to eat together at our desks or does she need me to buy her lunch, we just got paid today so I'm thinking the latter but I do owe her lunch so I'm unsure...it doesn't matter either way.

The best thing about today was working in the garden in 80 degree weather with the sun shining and not a cloud in the sky! Can't bellieve it is early Nov.! The picture is of my Japanese maple with my birdfeeder swap in the middle.
The worst is that I have so....much to do. I do have 5 days to do it in, though. I only work the middle three days of the week and next week we get Tues. off, so that gives me time to sew and craft and play and still sit and read a book (my fav!).
Now if I just had someone who would cook for me.....?

All you need is a Jelly Roll of fabric which has enough fabric for about 3 purses; some interfacing; fabric for the lining (fat qtrs will do); a piece of foam board or heavy cardboard for the base and 4 Drill buttons to cover.

Just got in, of course I took back roads to go into the bush to pick up branches for staffs..so dressed appropriately this morning as it was Friday knowing that is where I'd be...come home, walking the property, going to the very back and there they are..better than what I found..imagine that..

Roast...it's so long since I really had a nice home cooked meal, of course cooked by someone else..lol..Suzanne is having one tonight, tempted not to go because with working late, Lenny not home from trucking it's likely to be around 9pm..I'm usually in bed by then..

Lot of work pkgs seeds isn't it Bev..don't have the patience to do so...I have a big bin, collect them all, mix them together, in the spring scatter them in the gardens and what comes comes...bet you are shaking her head right..that's me...helter skelter..scatter brain...

I'm still waiting Bev for Jeff one day to come and have enough time to transfer files and photo's to this computer so I can organize as well..want to do scrapbooking .. might be a good hobby for work...aren't I terrible..so more crafting at work than I do at home..but boss encourages me to entertain myself...


Well made 3 trips to the back shed...unpacking some of the boxes and laughing at myself...going ooohhh....awwwww... opened the box of the santa I got this week so far and opened a box and had forgotten mom had got me a nativity set from Cracker Barrel when we were in Florida last Christmas...plus of course I managed to find a few pieces but cannot remember what...lol

Seems funny doesn't it, you've not had Thanksgiving yet, we've had ours almost a month now and in full swing of Christmas...think though that because of the nice weather we're all trying to get trees, lights and outdoor decorations done so that when the snow does come, we can enjoy..
