okay , I found a room under the stairwell finished in paneling and has a light from the top that doesn't work, forgot this "closet" was there, was putting things away in the trash bag from that basement room when I found the little hidden room LOL
This was my sons' room at one time.. I don't think he ever opened that closet door! anywayz, gonna set up some plant stands or shelves in there and use it for a GROW room.. ( as soon as I can get the $ for shelves anyway)...

OMG, Phyllis! Not yet! I sure wouldn't be ready for that... James, I think it is a Musa Basjoo... just a guess.. I wanted to tell whom ever asked about the lights in my basement.. they are simple 4 tube fluorescent shop lights.. I picked them up at Lowe's for $10 each, slightly damaged in shipment,,, you have to wire them up but hey I figured it out, so any of you H&H's could too. I put plug ends and a cord on them to hook up to timers.. I think Karen found some at Habitat for Humanity, if there's one near you.. I'd like to have at least 2 more down there, so I just keep going to Lowe's 1X a week or so to see if any came in damaged.. I think Wally world has the 2 bulb ones for $10.. but I'm holding out... might need to catch that delivery truck, BEFORE it gets to Lowe's ;)

Hey Hotties and Handsomes! Finally off work for a while. Here the weatherman (bless his heart he just can't quit lying) is predicting low 30s for the rest of the week. However, the National Weather Service is saying mid 40s. Grief, I wish they could tell me for sure. But everything is in the garage or house, safe and sound, though not in any kind of arrangement, just IN. I only have about three cuttings to take and I am okay. I don't know what to do about those 5 new buds I found yesterday, hmmm. Maybe I need to plan on their being on the cuttings too.

Still trying to get back in routine after this weekend. Keith is going to start going out of state for work starting Thursday, so I'm going to try to get some goodies baked for him to take. His company just took some drastic cuts yesterday and they asked him to take the out-of-state work to help some of the other guys who can't travel keep their jobs. So, our lives are changing pretty drastically this week and quite unexpectedly.
James, if you plant yourself I definitely want a cutting off of that one. I need a plant that can dig dirt! I agree with Aunt B on your banana ID.

Peg, glad you are getting some time off and how sweet to send your man off with treats! Nice time of year for baking.. I hope you both have an easy adjustment.. They are saying 36 low on Thursday and 60% chance of showers... still okay, but everything I have out IS handy by the garage door, just so it can be crammed in without too much top damage... I'd wrap those buds in christmas lights and bubble wrap Peg.. worth a try, especially if it gets nice weather after your ccccold temps. Hey, I could use a digging plant, too.

Bonny pink smells like spicey baby powder and lemon. I think Maya smells like a tea rose and don't know about the NOID. First blooms for her. I have to laugh at those huge buds on that tiny Y. She had buds forming right when the Y started.

I went out to the store this afternoon; I managed to drive around 30 miles so I guess I’m good to go. First time I’ve driven in a month unless you count the trip around the block yesterday.

Don't know how she got to be a NOID seedling unless the seed was mixed up. She was sent to me as a seedling this spring. Oh yay Donna I bet you felt good just getting out a bit! Becky - meant to tell you that the banana I gave you is musa basjoo- llook at plant files - you'll see the flower and fruit - looks just like that - when it gets cold - stop watering - the only way this one dies is to rot from too much water - I've had them 3yrs now - started from just 2 leaves

Hey everyone.... just got back from the Dr..... Lyle ONLY needs the other knee replaced... with 2 fake knees and a hip... and rods, plates and screws in his back.. he not only is the Million dollar man...lol... but also the bionic man as well.. He has to have his legs checked by a cardiologist to see why they are swelling before the Dr will operate... and then there's the med pump implant, and this Dr said it would be easier on Lyle to have it done first, then the knee replacement.
Phyllis.... ooooohhhhie... NO snow..lol... I know it's pretty BUT....BTW... I have thanked you by dmail.. but I need to thank you here too!! Girls.... she sent be sooo many DL's, I just couldn't believe it, along with a sweet note, and lots of other goodies... way better than Christmas!! Then I had a package waiting for me when i got back from the RU... MORE Dl's...lol... with a note that said" Surprise!"....LOL... it was a wonderful surprise... TY Phyllis.. you mean so much to me!!
