This one is a little bigger but the sloped roof was so unusual. How much fun t live in something so unique.

I love the 2nd one-when I get old and moldy and I am looking for a teeny house that is it!! It is adorable:)
Yes my georgia peach, please sned the plants:) We do need to get them in the ground-I have no clue as to what is being sent!!LOL
LK-I will tell you as soon as I get home and rip that sucker open!!!!!!!!!!!
AH Stacey, so today you start opening all your pressies. You are going to share them with us right?
YUPPERS:) I only have 3 and 2 of them are from the Bday thread:)
BJ, there are 3 different fabrics. I made borders of green or orange around the multi colored pumpkin fabric. The finished squares were approx 10". Hopefully it will look better when washed in a tub washer. My front loader just doesn't do it.
Absolutely beautiful Debra. I had expected some plain squares, but you truly think outside the box, didn't you!! That winner will be thrilled and it will be an heirloom! Good job Debra! You need to show it off as your first quilt on the quilting forum! So proud of you.
Janice, that house I could live in. I visualize smoke stacks off the chimney. Then Kel would have to pick up pipe smoking.
Open those darn gifts niece :P
Hi BJ, Marion, Phyllis, Sis, Cindy, Trisha, Laura.......A hello all, life is sweet, Deborah is back, and it will be sweeter once Joey's here.
Love you Deb!
Am limited to posting... catch when I can... having problems with the 'net :(
I will as soon as I get home-promise:) I have a bunch of bulbs to get taken care of, so I will only have time to open and post a pic:(
Morning all! Just slipping in under the line.
Debra, fantastic job on the quilt. Beautiful fabric and colors choices. BTW, us enablers? Not us --we would never, never do that to you or anyone for that matter. Would we Jaye? I want to work on a quilt today but I was ask Saturday night to make a Dorothy costume for my oldest GD. When she requests it it is harder to say no!! Not that I would anyways.
Deborah, Deborah--it is so very good having you back with us. I will be busy the rest of today and out of pocket tonight (got to go adjust my DIL's serger) but I will call Tuesday. How would that be?
Kathy, you would be very wise to follow BJ's suggestion of a vacation! I would still be fussing if I had gone through all of that on my anniversary. What an ordeal. Please tell us that dinner was good--at least something went right.
BJ and Linda Kay, get busy--all those plants just waiting for homes. You to Phyllis after you finish the training for the new job. That is really great for you!
Hummm, now why can't we take Janice's beautiful picture of the fall leaves and have a puzzle made from it? Surely someone somewhere does that.
Jaye, are you behaving with the popcorn jelly beans? If not, then Kel gets them. I don't want you over doing it now!! Besides we have next May to think about and work towards.
Well Tink, it made it much further than I though you would. Congrats!!! Now it is officially your birthday week so I guess it is okay to open your pressies. Don't fret dear niece, more pressies are coming just didn't want to tempt you to much all at once!!!
Joey, we miss you!!! Tell those people to get a move on it.
Well back to my work, will check in later.
marion, dinner was great! srawberry daquari's, rib eye, baked tater, salad, chicken wings. i was full as a tick
Oh my, I am stuffed just reading what you had!!! I can't remember when I had a rib eye--many dollars at the market right now. Chicken wings--oh yes, weekly. I love those but not the hot ones. Sounds like you did have atleast a good dinner.
OK-FESS UP-WHO SENT THE BOX??
I'm not opening it til I know who sent it
JUST KIDDING!!LOL I opened it and it was FILLED with the most wonderful goodies!! I am confused-the card says Happy Bday, Love Melissa??????
It had a New 2009 Nene Thomas Calender, 2 ceramic Tiles-Stargazer and A Chance Encounter, a Bubble Fairy-Dark Skies (MY FAVE!!) and Violet Melody and ornament!!
THANK YOU, GRACIAS, THANKS, and thank you in other languages I don't know;)LOL
I am only opening 1 a day:) THis box was WELL worth the wait let me just say!! I was rewarded hansomly for my patience!!
Oh Tink, what beautiful fairies. I would agree it was worth the wait!! So now the fun begins, right?
Debra, unfortunately if anything I’m doing worse.
I had really bad insomnia last night Finally got to sleep I’m guessing about 4:30am after being in bed for four hours and taking more sleeping medication than I’ve needed to take since I started taking Trazodone; I took 5 last night, normally I’d take one or two. I think three was my previous highest, and I could have used more; I took the last one about 3am.
My alarm clock didn’t go off this morning; luckily Sage was up when the kids showed up. I woke up either completely hosed or with a drug hangover, in either case I had a bad headache, was shaky, and food sounded like the worst thing in the world. I got back to sleep by the time DH left for work, 10am?, so I think it’s still making me hosed. I didn’t realize it was conference week, so I got woken up about 1pm telling me that the kids were waiting to be picked up. Now I have a Headache, but that’s all. We’ll see how it goes, but no matter what it’s going to be a long week.
To explain why I’m still taking it, with all the side effects, my sprained ankle that I’ve been fighting for months is healed as far as I can tell, and my hand, the reason I’m taking it, is only as sore as a paper cut. It’s only a couple more days, I think it’s worth it, but this week is going to suck if this keeps up. The dosage went down today and will go down again Wednesday, so hopefully the side effects will get less.
Deborah, it’s one of those cases where you got used to something that sucks and all the sudden you realize you don’t have to be used to it. I’ve had a bunch of those recently. I couldn’t imagine the possibility of feeling this normal a year ago, the bipolar medication and insomnia medications have done wonders; more then I would have ever believed a possibility. We might be finally getting my allergies under control, I need to start the anti-histamine next week, but I am dealing with a specialist now. Than if we can deal with my hand and knee I might be back in working order.
It’s so nice to actually have health insurance!
Stacey, such a wonderful box to open!!! So pretty. Will be waiting for the next post from you, to see what you open on Tuesday.
Laura, sorry to hear your not doing well with the new meds. Please take care, prayers and hugs to yo.
LK
Friday should be the absolute last day I'll have any issues from it, so I just have to survive till than.
ok I have to share this ...BJ & LK both know I came home with 3 big EE leaves one was for making a bird bath and the other 2 I hope do to stepping stones or something like with them...so here is the bird bath I did this yesterday while the boys watched football and Dh helped me turn it over tonight when I got home from work...it still needs to cure more and the leave pieces dry up to get the rest of it out and not sure what I am puttin it on as far as a post or not LOL
Laura, sorry you are having problems with everything now. Meds can really throw you some times.
Oh Phyllis, that is lovely. Talked with my sister this afternoon and she was telling me how big the EE are at her house. Might just have to bring some home and play with them. I have always wanted to do a birdbath like that and I guess I can't start any younger. LOL
Hello Linda Kay. Are you recovering from the trip? How is the foot doing? Now remember Florida is next!!!!
Oh, Laura... I'm so sorry your meds are playing havoc with your life. I know how that goes, for sure.
BTW, LK... it's not fried foods, I guess... haven't had any, and it happened again today....
Guess I'll have to call the doctor tomorrow after all.
Phyllis... that turned out absolutely WONDERFUL.... I love it... Now, I'm going to have to make me one... I'm anxious to see if your going to put it on a post, and how... I might be tempted to just lay it on the ground... but, do birds actually bath in the ones you put on the ground?
LK, I'll try to get that pic tomorrow... sorry, but I had to take care of a son today, and just forgot all about it till I got home...
Oh, and I almost forgot again..
PHYLLIS !!!! How was your first day on the new job?
Tell us all about it... details... details....

BJ, no problem, when you get a chance. Sorry to hear your not feeling well. Go to the Dr. and have it checked out.
Phyllis, that bird bath is gorgeous. How much concrete did it take?
Marion my foot is a little sore, but it was sore before I left here, so it is just the normal sore from surgery.
Good nite everyone. Guess it is going to take me a few days for my body to catch up. Feels like jet lag.
BJ, now I know how Don feels with all the traveling he does! Don't know how he does it!
LK
YOO HOO... official is a nice little icing on the cake... huh?
Well, ladies... my son wore me out today... so, I'm calling it a night early...
Nighty night...
I used a whole 80# bag cement mix not just Portland and sand but the actual pre mix on it and put dry wall tape in too for added support
Oh my goodness, that is really heavy then? Wow!
Do you put plastic between the leaf, and the concrete, or just pour concrete on the leaf, and then build it up?
LK
just built he concrete up on top of the leaf forgot the plastic LOL..but once the remaining leaf is dry it will crumble right out.
Debra, What a Beautiful quilt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone was very lucky to get that.
OHHH Kathy, not fun………At least I hope the dinner was a good one!!!!!!

NOPE-NOT SHARING;)
Morning everyone. Pass the coffee and cinnamon rolls please?
Ladies, have a good day.
LK
Good morning!
Stacey, is today your birthday? I don't see your name on the birthday list. If it is ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!
Phyllis, sounds like you are going to get them organized. Your leaf is beautiful. I'd love to try that while we still have some EE leaves. You use concrete, not the hyper turfa mix with peat, etc? Would you please post a step by step set of instructions - or do you already have it on another thread?
Gotta run - about to be late for my master gardener work project. Will catch up later.
Staceys Birthday is the 18th.
Morning everyone. Hope your all having a wonderful day.
LK
Morning Girls !!!!
WOW... I slept 10 hours straight through the night... woke up once just before daylight for a pit stop... then fell right back to sleep... that's a lot for me... I was either really tired, or that pain pill knocked me out. BUT I do feel all rested this morning and ready to tackle another day.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FAIRY LIPS !!! You know you're going to get that all week... since you're celebrating all week.
BJ, isn't it wonderful when you can get a good nights sleep and wake up not cursing your alarm clock, but looking forward to the day; I remember those days ;o)
Is there any coffee left? Been up but started working on my "to do list" before turning on the computer. Trying to get a long list of things done before I head down to Mom's next week. Not to mention one of which is a halloween costume for the GD!!!
BJ hope you are feeling better. Not feeling well can make you as tired as anything else--or it does me. Whatcha working on now?
Straighten 'em out Phyllis--if anyone can you will be the one. I am really happy for you getting the new position. Big grin here.
Okay, Debra, what is the next quilting project? Can't stop now, you are just getting started!!!!!! We are going to make an addict of you yet.
Jaye, where are you? Did I miss you posting yesterday or were you not on? Hope you aren't sick but just busy!! Kel still eating lemon jelly beans?
Deborah, good morning dear. Where are you today? Pop in please, we need you smile here.
Hi Cindy, what is your project now?
Hello everyone I missed.
Marion, what are you turning your GD into?
Good Morning All,
Today I am working outside, the wind has finally quit blowing and it is going to be in the 80's today. First a run to Wally World and PO.
Plus getting ready to start making candles waitng for wax to come and new scents.
Dorothy, at her request. Younger sister is to be a flying monkey. Actually the wicked witch might be more appropriate as she walks around in a crackly voice telling everyone: I'm going to get you my pretty and your little dog too!"
