strangely enough the magnolia vine sort of looks good there, unfortunately it can't stay.
Garden Photos - Part 40
Good morning RC nice picture of the Fucia.
good morning to you as well, and thanks!
good morning! love that shot of the euphorbia!
RC, the fuschia is a winner!
Beautiful everyone.
Deb - I love the moon shot!
Hi Shelly. Still like the fuschia! (I saw it on another thread) And the euphorbia is cool. Sarah is in mostly sun and will reach 15-20 ft. Has white flowers.
That Fuschia pic is a beaut! We should have people taking pictures of us taking pictures. I'm imagining RC down on the forest floor and Victor out at night balancing on one leg. I'm sure my neighbors must think I'm batty when they see me laying down in the flower beds (especially when I was pregnant). It's all worth it. I love to see all these amazing photos.
I'm on the ground a lot!
Good morning all and thanks. Sorry I missed you earlier Onewish.
I was positive that you would make the connection Victor! No slow ones here! Thanks for the info on Sarah, she sounds great. I think I could make that work.
I really like your idea Dyane, it would be fun for sure. Now, how to implement that! hmmmm.....
Shelly, love the name of the euphorbia. lol
When I was a girl and visited WA with my Nana back in 1960 2 things I remember vividly - the trip up Mt. Rainier and playing in the snow in shirt sleeves and a fuschia at a relatives house. I have always wanted a fuschia, but haven't done well with hanging baskets. Now, I may have to try a hardy one. Thanks for the pic.
This is a quiet group today!
Glad that you liked it Jan. I have several plants with that species name!! All very nice! That's sure a fun memory with the fuschia. Strange what sticks with us. I agree, hardy fuschia is the way to go. I haven't delt with a non-hardy one since the day I found out about the other kind.
Victor, what kind of maple(s) does you neighbor have? That's not just one huge maple is it? It's really striking whatever the case. I think that your crape is incredible too!
I think the cyclamen are too RC.... I tried them twice mail order... they didn't come up after they were planted... I am going to have to grab a plant when I see them
That display garden shot is beautiful. I had some beautiful shots yesterday with the reds, yellows and oranges. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera in the car with me.
Those maples are stunning.
It takes a year to forget that and then fall puts on a display.
The display garden is gorgeous, Shelly. I like the cyclamen too - never had luck with them. That maple is just one huge one. I'm guessing it's a sugar, but I don't know for sure.

I too love cyclamen but haven't had any luck with it. Wonder what we are doing wrong or don't have in our soil??
I'll have to third the gorgeous display garden shot!
Victor:
I forgot to say how beautiful the photo is that you used to begin this part of the thread. It's amazing that it is a reflection.
I love all these fall colors, designs, and patterns.
Thanks Candyce.
I have been enjoying the maple timeline.
I'll fourth that display garden, Shelly.
5th lol
Can I vote again?! Hee hee.
Wow---wonderful shots--your trip, Debi, sounds way cool! Jo Ann---my niece never took me to the 1000 acre place--hope I remember for next year! I'm drooling over that crape, Victor. We have a crape in our front yard in FL, but we are never there at bloom time--my friends were supposed to take a pic of it, but they never did--just told me it was lavender. Have not taken any photos, but I do have some roses--maybe tomorrow! Shelley---am reading a series of mysteries that take place in OR--the 1st is Candy Apple Red---very entertaining!
Robindog! maybe your niece doesn't know about it. It's in Penfield.
Remind me next years visit.
