oh I could so handle livin in that house ....of course in my dreams though
۞Sweet Interruption۞ 34
Wouldn't have much if I didn't have my dreams.....I could suffer with that house...
Right now I am suffering sitting here in the U-Haul lot waiting for DS to return the truck so we can grab a bite to eat and head for Seattle to finish cleaning and bringing the last of their stuff down here......it is goin' to be a verrrrry looooooonnnggg night! I will probably be getting home about the time all of you are getting up.....hhmmmmm, maybe I will get a cup of coffee in the morning!!
I'm settin up the pot to start around 4:30am as I am seeing I'm not the only one up by 5am
settin fresh fruit mix in the frig for the morning too lol
Well, I wish one of you would SUFFER that house... I need a sistah here.!!!
I'm not going to be up for that pot of coffee, but I'll catch a later pot... thanks.
I'll be up but it is for all y'all as I don't drink the stuff...smells great but just never acquired the taste.
Are you certain, the next chick will be Jaye?? ^_^ Wow Sis...
Look here, Trisha and Phyllis, let's gather our nickels and dimes to be BJ's neighbour! That could be our vacation home. Except that our nickels and dimes got to be in truckloads!!!
BJ, I wish I had the money for that place. It looks kinda cute. Don't care for the big fish on the wall, but that is just decorations, that can be changed!
Good nite ladies. My foot is giving me fits, so it is time for a pain pill, and bedtime.
LK
LK, take it easy please. Have a good rest.
Night LK...
WOW... a whole house full of sistahs !!!! What more could I ask for !!!
YEAH... ya'll all save your nickels !!!
What a bunch of Chatty Cathys!!! Glad to hear Cindy is doing okay after her slow start. Making up for lost time, right?
Okay, BJ that's no fair!! I don't have an empty house around me to entice Sistahs to move near me! That's okay I have Deborah and Donna close by and we are planning to get into big trouble!!!! Well if Deborah ever gets the son moved we are. LOL Donna is going to have to take a break and come up for air soon I hope. Works way to hard!!!
Oh Jaye, I had almost forgotten about Georgia Bonesteel!! I think I still have her books packed--I think. If so, Debra are you interested? Have no idea why I kept them just did.
Are you thinking of Donna Poster with the foldy quilting stuff Jaye? I remember her as not having to use batting are the blocks are so thick when you use her method. Tried one but it wasn't for me.
Oh no Debra, no rotary cutter with wine. Not a good thing for sure.
Sorry Cindy, we are overrun with recipe boxes and books for that matter. DD collects them like I collect fabric. Tink here is hoping you get a nice new clean shiny box. If you do keep it clean!!
Well I have some things I need to finish downstairs so I will say good nite.
Marion, I lived dangerously and cut the batting afterall. Still have all my fingers. lol! Are those quilting books you're asking about? May be interested (are you and Jaye trying to get me hooked?). Let me know how much the postage will be.
BJ, that's a beautiful lot and home. Didn't take the interior tour but the lot itself is scrumptious.
LK, take it easy with your foot.
I'm pooped - off to bed. Nighty nite!
Jaye I like the idea but ya know I am closer to her so I would be there more often ...hahahahaha
Nite girls sleep well
Oops I did it again!
Sorry sistahs, another night I fell asleep on the recliner with a quilt magazine in hands.
Marion, I know I could count on you sistah to recall that name. Yes it's her, the Foldy Lady.
Debra, we think you're already on your way to being hooked, with no help from us! You have an eye for colors and the nuances, on what complements or contradicts, unlike me, that need a color wheel when I go shopping for fabric, and nowadays, I depend on Kel!
So before I say night night.. Phyllis, you are such a sweetie. Coffee again, my friend? Be safe on the road tomorrow.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I have been drinking coffee for about 2 hrs now and am just now waking up!!LOL
Good morning Aunties and friends:)
I sure to hope Debroah comes back soon-miss her and Joey:(
Auntie M-I will try to keep it clean-my other one was ugly and plain, so I was always like "ah-can't make it look worse", but if I have a pretty one, then I will for sure keep it clean:)
So we are all pitching in to buy tha place as like our timeshare??
MMM-wine-I have a special bottle waiting for my Bday-one of my faves-it is a Tremeiner-Reisling-ummmm
A quick good morning to all of you! Just got back from Seattle....DS's old apartment is ready for their walk through....last load of stuff is at the new place it is 3:47 and I have to be up again in about 4 hours.....I am getting too old for this!!!!! Goodnight/good morning!
GOOD MORNING TRISHA!!! Tell Laura I said hello:)
I will when I pick her up this morning! She has one more day of house sitting and then she will be back home...not a minute too soon. When I talked to her about an hour and a half ago she was ready to strangle my SIL's two little dogs. They are basically untrained and not very well housebroken.....Laura says it will cost her Aunt a lot more to get her to keep those two again!
I'll talk to everyone tonight I am completely beat and am going to try and catch a little sleep!
Nighty night Trisha:)
Get some well deserved rest, Trishia. I thought about you this past Saturday morning while sitting at the master gardener table at the farmer's market. We were visiting with some folks in town for a huge RV gathering - almost 1000 of those huge ones valued at $250,000 to $1,000,000 (I digress). A couple rode up on a tandem bike and were talking to another MG. They looked just like the photo you shared with us of you and your DH on the tandem! My brain started backtracking ..... did Trishia mention going on an RV ralley? ..... surely she would have mentioned being in Arkansas ....... as it turned out the couple was local. But did they ever look like your photo!
Morning Sisters!!!!
You are up so early, Thanks for the good coffee!
Hope everyone is doing well, and not working too hard.
Linda Kay
morning LK
Morning BJ, Thanks for the pictures to make us smile.
BJ, the 11th, is so close, I will see you then! probably the night before, not for sure, but will keep you posted.
LK
Those are the cutest easter eggs I've seen!!!!
Is there still coffee? Had a rough night--dreamed of quilts all night. Thanks Debra and Jaye. Actually my wrist was hurting so I spent most of the night reading--finally fell asleep.
Oh Jaye, we are so much similar with our quilting books/magazines. Kim just sighs and rolls her eyes when mine come in the mail because she knows I won't be worth much until I have read them cover to cover. Good thing they don't come when my gardening mags come!! Carefully spaced out!!! BTW, Donna Poster has a website and you can download patterns free if anyone wants to try her version of quilting. Need to check the actual website address.
Good for you Debra, cut the batting!! Way to go.
Aw, how cute BJ--looks like my youngest if her parents would allow it. A real exhibitioner if allowed! Saves on laundry for sure. So how long will Don be gone this time? Will that be your R&R days?
I haven't seen Cindy this morning. Morning Cindy.
Linda Kay morning. Hope the foot is much better this morning.
Just how is our Rooster called Cindy this morning Kathy? Updated pic please. I read he/she cuddles with the smaple? Awwww, how sweet.
Wake up Tink it is getting late in the day!!
I'm awake now!!LOL
Has anyone heard from Tina-I haven't seen her post in a while and have dmailed her...
Marion, do you use anything on your wrist? Creams or pain gels? Between my neck and wrist I've discovered some amazing products. The best discovery was a little box of 40 pain patches sold at Wal-Mart for about $4.00. They are called 'Salonpas' and made in Japan. All natural and work wonders. The other is a gel called Arnica (sp?) gel that comes in a tube. Great for swelling and associated pain. The third is a jar of cream sold by my chiropractor called Sombra. It's more expensive and, truthfully, is very similar to the ingredients in the little pain patches from Wal-Mart but does help a lot.
Just taking a break... Don's friend and his wife will be here soon... and I need to get a few things done before they get here.
Marion, Don will just be working in Dallas tomorrow, Fri & Sat... So, he'll be home every night... not going out of town again until the 18th
LOL.. Don's out in that flower bed trying to get a chunk of concrete out that was put there to hold the old tv antennae tower... so far, he's gone 3' down into the dirt... I think he just gave up and is trying to break it off somewhere ... poor guy... he's trying so hard to make that bed for me.
Well, back to work...
Good Morning Marion,
I'm here I've been sleeping in until 6ish these mornings, then had to run to PO mailed a bunch of stuff now I'm broke LOL.
Yes, Debra, I wear a brace my orthopaedic doctor gave me plus something called "bio freeze" helps but I am afraid I am working up to the "ye ole knife" bit again. Bummer! I didn't wear my brace yesterday so I did it to myself. Gets in my way when I am doing some things so off it come!! Funny thing my GDs are see me with it so much that the last time we went out to eat I had not put it back on. Wouldn't you know the youngest one told me to put it on or my hand would fall off!! What a child!!
BJ, you better be extra sweet to that man!! That is some undertaking to dig a concrete chunk up for sure. I am sure you are taking good care of them --just teasing!!
You are right Tink, haven't seen Tia in some time now. Hope nothing is wrong.
I know that feeling well!!! Payday for me is the 8th--next week. Yuck.
Glad to see you up and okay.
And I miss Deborah too-her son must have a lot of stuff!!:)
So-I was gonna go get DH that card and stuff afer work-well I think not now-I just spilled 1/2 a can of Coke all over my WHITE shirt:( I swear-the girls must've been thirsty!!
ROFLOL, sounds like me!!! I always share my coke with whatever I am wearing!!!

Ponderisms
I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes.
Garden Rule: When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

A Good Friend Is Like A Good Bra. Hard to Find, Supportive, Comfortable, And Always Close To Your Heart!
LOL! That too funny, Cindy. And too true!
A friend sent this the other day - thought it was cute.
The boss wondered why one of his most valued employee had not phoned in sick one day. Having an urgent problem with one of the main computers, he dialed the employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper. ' Hello ? '
'Is your daddy home?' he asked.
' Yes , ' whispered the small voice.
' May I talk with him? '
The child whispered, ' No . '
Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked, 'Is your Mommy there?'
'Yes.'
'May I talk with her?'
Again the small voice whispered, ' No . '
Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss asked, ' Is anybody else there? '
' Yes ,' whispered the child, ' a policeman ' .
Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee's home, the boss asked, ' May I speak with the policeman? '
' No, he's busy ' , whispered the child.
' Busy doing what? '
' Talking to Daddy and Mommy and the Fireman , ' came the whispered answer.
Growing more worried as he heard a loud noise in the background through the earpiece on the phone, the boss asked, ' What is that noise? '
' A helicopter ' answered the whispering voice.
' What is going on there? ' demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive.
Again, whispering, the child answered,'
The search team just landed a helicopter . '
Alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the boss asked, ' What are they searching for? '
Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle...
' ME .'
ROFLOL where did you 2 get those? Funny, funny!!! Gotta go change now.
"Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway."
How true is that Cindy!! Thanks for those wise ponderisms :D
Thanks for the smiles BJ. Early exhibitioners aren't they!!
Stacey, Tina, Tia.. has been busy taking care of her sister while her mum's off to Europe. So time here is limited. Maybe if we dmail her and let her know she's thought of, that will uplift her spirits.
Debra, those are not RVs... they're our banks on wheels!!!
Marion, I don't think I'll attempt the foldy method. I'd like to do a stack and whack soon.
Yeah, kinda miss Joey and now Deborah too. We'll just pray and hope all is well with them.
It's in the high 80's here.. how warm is your weather out there? So for me, that means, dragging the hoses and soaking the plants. Maybe I'll start with CG's cuttings.
