I'd love to still be in my jammies but it's monday so off to work I go and a field trip right after my route this morning but only till noon.

My cheery self checked at the bathroom door! Stacey, Kel knows to leave me alone when I'm not feeling up to par.
But I managed to look through quilting books for my next project. Joy is going through my stash and ideas come around.
Phyllis, will you be getting a sewing machine? Will be much faster for you.

that's it makin a quilt after I get them all put together...do the piecing by hand though as I don't have a sewin machine that can go on the but LOL

So Phyllis, you have to mark the 1/4 inch guide... or you just eyeball it?

Jaye-I am the same way-unless I need a drink or something:) Are you feeling better??

I have a sewing machine here at home I can use but it's kinda hard to take one on the bus with no power and no place to put it ...I've already used it to put the triangles together so I am hand sewing the squares together on field trips.

AHHH-you are a crafty one-I woulda just taken a book:) Which I am reading a really good one-The Last Lecture-I get misty a lot while reading it...

Randy Pausch-he gave his last lecture at Carnegie Mellen as he was dying of Pancreatic Cancer-not sure if you heard of him-he was on Oprah a couple times?? He just passed this last spring-they had given him like 6mos to live at first and he lived almost another 2 yrs...

Stacey, I can't read another heartbreaking book.
Kel's brother, Leslie, was diagnosed with brain cancer. Specialists at Duke's gave him a month, but he lived on for another 7 years.
