I didn't take pics of MB because it's in total disray... Will take a pic one day.
Thanks Jaye...The only picture I have here is the Fairy Flag I haven't touched for along time. It for Lizrainy.

♥Sweet Interruption♥ 29
LOL
I said good afternoon sistahs beautiful day out sun shining.

I use

wow Judy love the place now I know where to go when I come up to visit friends back in Illinois LOL
that stinks on the land bit but if people knew that to start wtih they might not buy along the shore line so close to keep from losing it too son
What a same about those houses. Same thing happened in Charlotte County when Charley went through. Punta Gorda Isles was built on a filled in saltwater marsh--then they wondered why they were flooded as badly. Strict restrictions in place now.
Judy beautiful work and I do love your house. It feels lived in and homey--in a good sense of the word. Comfy maybe a better choice of words.
Okay Phyllis, you had us fooled! Shame on you, it isn't nice to play tricks on us poor older ladies!!! LOL
Phyllis, Realtors in the coastal communities have the buyers sign a form that informs them of that possibility. Kinda like the "Lead Paint Adendum" everyone has to sign... just a warning sort of thing that it might be possible.
Judy, Thank you so much for inviting us into your home. I feel like comfy in your house now, like an old friend.
Just waking up from a nap. Don't know why I'm so sleepy.
Judy, I love your home, sweetie. So much warmth shining throughout! I'm still studying your art and sculptures. I see so much Americana in your home. Lots of sentimental values and cherish pieces in your home. With a Native American heritage shining through? Am I right? When I wake up more, I'm going back for more treasure hunting. Need coffee, need coffee....
Hmm-why is Deb sleepy-could it be that she was still up at 3am?? Nah-can't be-LOL!!
LOL only the shadow knows she says but I bet that has something to do wtih it
Marion I gave ya the link to the site so you can go and get translations from English to another language and vice versa
I did take french in Jr. High but that was it never touched another language in school after that. LOL
Makes me think back to when the Mississippi went out of its banks and flooded Quincy, IL and areas along there and when people really dug back into history they found it had happened a number of years in the past yet they still rebuild too close to the banks and change the course it goes instead of letting it follow the natural path to start with.
Guess I like the idea of being near water but not if it means I lose everything......what really ticks me off is the pictures I have seen of the pets left behind in yards on chains or no place to go to get up out of the waters during the storm coming in ....would really like to take the owners and give them a taste of that.
If your gonna leave them at least set them free to be able to get away themselves
ok done with my beef now LOL
i've got 2 piller cases and still hunting smaple!
Those are good for snipe hunting too! Out of twenty people in the hunt I was the only one determine to get me a trophy and couldn't understand why everybody wasn't looking as hard as me.
what's a piller case??
Somehow it got lost in translation there Phyllis!
Sis..what IS smaple??
I know Phyllis, it's just heartbreaking. Animals instinctive know to go to higher ground and the sad part is, they knew the storm was coming before human radar.
BJ, I never knew that about the shoreline right of way. Poor sea turtles have rights to it too but we sometimes forget.
Stacey, not sure, but I think it's a 'pillow' case.
STILL don't know what a smaple is. There some kind of sistah secret we are not privy to. lol!
Jaye, and anyone that missed it. Here's the scoop on the smaple. On the bird feeder thread, Dragonlady Janice, wrote to tell us about her smaple birdfeeder she was working on, misspelling the word sample. Kathy's next post was the question "What is a smaple?" , just being the bird and animal lover she is, we all are trying to find her one. And now, everybody wants one too. Janice just opened a can of worms and the search begans.
Apa ana tau... pakai lah yang biasa
(there my own language, me myself am privy too.. lol)
Thanks Deborah, she might mean maple birdfeeder? Made out of maple wood?
AHA!! IT's more exciting to keep on guessing what it is, right??
Got ya!
It's southern for pillow, Staceypoo. Like winder for window. Did y'all miss phonics in school? Say it out loud with snuff in your mouth. Spit Kathy you droolin'.
Judy, thanks for sharing your photos. Like Deborah, I'm going back to search for all the treasures. So many wonderful family photos! You and your DH are such handy people. Everywhere you look there is something you made yourself. Wish we had such skills. The embroidery piece is unbelievable. Not sure I would have identified it as embroidery - it's so intricut. The layers of fabric is beautiful. How did you learn to do that?
There ya go, my spell check is broken too, Jaye, and, I got lost in the translation.
Oh, and thanks for the update on the 'smaple', Deborah. Now we can help her look!
Let's not go there Deborah!!
I'm always trying to decipher what my redneck Kel is saying. He drops some vowels conveniently.
Like line instead of li-o-n and yella for yell-o-w.
Jaye, we Suth'ners are known for dropp'n vowls and the end'ns to words, too. It's that lazy Suth'ern draw. (interpretation - drawl)
And Kel thinks you have an accent? LOL
Well, Don came home, ate dinner, and is already in bed. Such an exciting life we lead, huh?
Before he went to bed I showed him my building project... and he actually approved !!!!... I'm so happy.
Kathy... you're not going to get any smaples in those pillar cases unless you bang on a pot with a stirring spoon too... and hold a flashlight under your arm pit.

Phyllis, I cheated, I called my daughter to translate. LOL Hey, that money her dad and I spent on college had better be good for something.
WHAT Tink, you don't know what a piller is/was? Oh my I fergot your from the nauth!!!
Jaye, isn't that hey way you say yella? Fooled me fer sure.
Judy your heritage is so wonderful and shows in your collections. Beautiful, beautiful things. The needlework is unbelievable. Ouch, I hurt thinking about doing that work!!!
So everyone is looking for smaples now? Let me know if you find them so I can stop looking.
Thanks Debra. I was given a book to help me in unnuhstannin redneck..it's by that Foxworthy fella!
BJ, this is off topic... I hate those commercials where women show their armpits. Yuck!!
My English major Larry will just ask me, "Say What?"
When we visited Porta Rica, I refused to use verbs or even attempt to speak a complete sentence in Spanish with my southern drawl. Everybody in the world knows what it means when you cross your legs with your eyes bulging out. I'll shut up now. :-0~~~~~~~~~~ROFLOL
ROTFL, Jaye.
Off topic? you we susposed to have one?
Keep your arms down, ladies!
I don't raise mine much anymore 'cuz it's usually for waving and now-a-days mine waves back.
ROTFL!!!
Skeered you might get a lift off, Debra??
ROFLOL lawd have mercy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i gots to go to the little girls room.ROFstillLOL
Piller, goes with frashlight, and the kitchen zinc, and the warshrag, and the, batry, (not battery), and the....
I'll think of more later.
Good nite Y'all!
Linda Kya
I am trying to type with my arms held really, really close to my sides here. No raising of arms so pits show. Yucky!!
Deborah, before we went to Spain several years ago, Kim made her Dad and I learn the word for bathroom. That is the one and only word I know!! She is so embarassed by me--she is fluent, me--well I am mostly fluid.
