:-Þ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ LOL
oh I'll be hitting the tub once I am done grinding the glass edges to get any fine pieces of glass out of my hair and off of me LOL
♥Sweet Interruption♥ 29
We gotta get you some host plant vines for that fence too.
I'm so glad you're back, Phyllis. Did you understand my drift of the bathtub? I should have mentioned leg cramps, but then you too wittle to get stuck in one with leg cramps. :-0~~~~lol almost
OK Deb-all I have is little black dots, so I guess I am OK to spry away!!
Poopr Jaye-sorry you don't feel well...
Does anyone know what ladybug eggs look like?
Deb-both our tubs are skinny like that-I have taken 2 baths in the 1.5 yrs we have lived here-too hard to get in and out and I don't have any knee [roblems or anything, but I fit snug as a bug in them w/ NO woggle room:(
yes I read the post about the leg cramps and being stuck in the tub for a bit LOL
DH is the one that gets those not me LOL
ok headed out to get the stuff in the shed done so i can bring it in and work on the next steps and get them finished LOL
You and me need to steal BJ's but we'd have to knock a hole in her wall to drag it out.
At 70 gallons of water, we both could take a swim on our floaties.
I want a large tub, but not as large as BJ's-more like a garden tub-smaller a little shollower-just big enough for little ole me-I don't want DH getting in with me-I wouldn't be able to realx or get clean ☻
What a busy bunch today!! Yeap, have the parley here for sure and starting to get butterflies!! Had a hard time telling DD why I insisted on parsley in my flower containers but she finally quit asking. Mother knows best!!!
Well my worker didn't show yesterday--urrrgh!! but son came early this morning so I have been busy outside with him. All holes for my larger plants have been dug, post for birdhouses and hanging planters put in place and I am taking a breather!!! Oh my what a good feeling to have that done!!! Of course it is going to cost me a pot of stroganoff but who cares--it's done!!
Deborah,, I love the pictures of your place--can't wait to come visit for sure!!! Nothing wrong with the swags--I have the same with one exception: raw ravelly edges with strings hanging down. I was just testing for effects and having taken back down yet. Later!! I am so trying to get plants in for more butterflies for sure. Atleast there are more than when I moved in to this house.
Phyllis, I am exhausted!! Between you, BJ and Betty, I am just overwhelmed with all the talent!!
Debra, glad you posted about your cats--I was wondering how it was going with them. To bad what happened.
Kathy, once again, I love the little lady!!! I am still looking for some smaples? Anyone know where they are hiding?
Auntie M-whats parley??
All this talk about bathtubs reminds me of the tubs in Palestine. Long, skinny (new meaning to the word) and very high. I had to have a step stool to get into the one where we lived while there. I think coffins are wider than the tubs I saw!! Thank goodness it also had a shower!! Also had horrible time trying to get face clothes. Not every heard of!!!!
doing the backstroke in BJ's tub .......... ouch, hit my head!
Hi liddle Tishia! Are you a Pyrenese Mtn Dog? is that the right breed? You are sooooo cute! Show us your widdle belly.
Deborah, one is attached to a metal fence railing and the other to a metal plant ring support. Is it safe to detach them? I'm not touching them until I know I won't hurt them. I think I did more harm than good to the ones I tried to bring in.
This is what a Monarch chrysalis looks like. Beautiful! Look at those beads of gold.
Well if you are a pirate and want to negotiate. French for to speak?
Are you implying I misspelled parsley? Not me, the world greatest speller--NOT!!!! LOL Okay, Tinky I will remember that!!!
NIce picture Debra.
Debra's cats was more than likely wind catastrope, they can only hold on for so long and when the rains come, if they get too wet, they drown before trying to crawl to a safer and drier spot. Marion, eventhough butterflies need lots of sunny spots, there are several ways you can utlitilize your shade garden as a host plant site. The Virginia Snakeroot, Aristolochia serpentaria comes to mind for the Pipevine Swallowtail. Plus you are in the Sunshine State, so just your climate will supply plenty of warming spots and sun loving plants at tree drip lines. I'm taking bf notes of your place when I come to learn to sew and/or go to Gainsville, whichever comes first.
Then Stacey you should go steal Cindy's garden tub. I can move BJ's by myself.
FANTASTIC!!!! That is one of my goals here--more birds and butters!!!!! I need to check out the plants you named for sure.
Kathy's on the smaple hunt... might turn out to be like a snipe hunt... but she's looking for us anyway.
Deborah... I already have some clematis on the fence, but it's struggling... I'm going to leave it there, and plant something else to climb too, and I was thinking some Sweet Autumn Clematis... got some star jasmine on the back section of the fence too.. new, just planted this year, so it's really small yet.
Did I ever show you a pic of the final product from my glass tumbling experiment?
I think it turned out kind of nice... for a first attempt.
I tell you what, when you all come see me in May, you can all take turns in the tub made for two... deal?
Debra, you got any tulle fabric? Edit to say: leave them where they are and : Make a tent over somehow to allow just enough room for him to emerge without being too cramped. It should provide it with enough protection. Yea, it will look tacky, so what.

BJ the glass is beautiful. I really like it!!
Okay so Kathy is on the search party for the smaples. I feel oh so much better with her in charge.
Okay on the tub, can we bring our own bathing buddy? Gotta make it interesting!!!
I was thinking suits mandatory!!LOL BJ-LOVE the glass!!
Fairy, Marion was speaking French: parley vu francis
LOL-is that what is was!!
Good Afternoon all...
Well Spent a good amount of time re-reading yesterdays post and caught up to now!
Fairy, hope you are feeling better today,
Mibus...Wow you have wonderful talent for Stained Glass! Love the flowers on your table, The Iris piece is lovely. And you work wood too, awsom!
Deborah, Great home and gardens! Your Hutch is perfect for that wall, looks like your brother Built for the space.
LOL, forgot who's little puppy, but my, how adorable!
Kim, I love your Lamp.
Debra, Loved your Dinning area. You BE Proud of the Elegence. I am sure you work very hard to get what you want. Just Beautiful.
LOL, I love that you have Christmas in your jammies with your friends. Which one are you? LOL, I am afraid to show you my Craft table...it is mounded with stuff, LOL so when i show you I'll throw in a picture of it all neat tidy too, ROFL, which is about once a year!
...Duh, I also forgot who was on the Double Bike! not enough coffee yet...But What fun to double ride, those bike are so neat.
So I did take some pics yesterday, lol now to find the cord to tranfer...I am a very unorganized organized person. OMG lost my cell phone it's here somewhere goal is to find it today, hmmm
Be back in a bit...
Oh, guess that shows what I was thinking have watch pieces of the Pirate last night. LOL Can't blame a girl for trying now can you?
Judy you fit this group so well!!! LOL Organized isn't in most ouf our vocabularies. Not mine for sure.
Deborah, you mean like this? This is how I covered them before the storm. They did fine and for several days after. It's too small of a bed for them - they crawled off looking for a place to climb and some just crawled in the wrong direction. The two chrysalids we've found so far are on the fence in the photo and in the bed just behind the fence. Next year the butterfly weed will be in a much larger area with lots of room to crawl. Hoping these two little guys make it to Mexico this year.
What the heck is a 'smaple'?????????????
Going outside soon. DH is helping me finish extending a bed I've been working on. Once done I can finally plant the rest of these iris. I've almost waited too long but I think they will be ok.
Marion, you will enjoy the butterflies and hummers so much. I've got butterfly/hummer gardens outside the dining room window and my computer room window and get the biggest kick out of watching them. We have lots of hummers that chase each other from feeder to feeder. We ususally have 4-6 feeders out at a time. They both love phlox, lantana, butterfly bush and coneflowers - among others. Those are just some of their favorites around here.
Judy, that was Trisha, Z....mom from Wa. I can't spell her DG name and she'd not made it to this page yet. Can you image riding the distance they go?
Before I forget, I Tahnk all yall for the compliments on my home and the prayers and thoughts of myhousehold. It's all a work in progress with no end in sight but I do Trust Him.
Judy-when I loose my phone, I call it from DH's and then track it down by the ringing!!LOL
Now that they are pupated you can make a sack out of the tulle to confine them, Or just let them be they have already made it this far. The danger I see would be wasps now.
Debra... we don't know what a smaple is... we think it might be a bird of some kind... but Kathy's looking for one, and therefore, we all want one.
Tahnk(as Deb puts it) you Marion... someday I'll find a use for that glass too... but not today.
Stacey... you don't know what pajamas are, and you want to wear a suit in a bath tub... am I the only one that thinks there's something really wrong with that picture?
ROTFLMBO!
*cough* *cough* Sputter!!!
LOLOLOLOLOL!!
Easy Jaye... catch your breath sistah
Gotta get some Depends!!!!!!
LOLOLOL!!
Ok, back to work... almost finished with my building project... all by myself I might add... it's the paint that takes so long... might be finished by Wednesday. *sigh*
