Put your fall blooms and colorful foliage here!
My first bloom on some Maximilian Sunflower, sign of fall, I think!
Fall Blooms & Color
Very pretty Linda, mine haven't opened yet, but getting close, I see you have Frostweed next to them, good choice!
LindaTX8, your Batface Cuphea still looks nice. Mine got beat up pretty badly by Ike.
Carla, I just got my first Salvia regla this year, did you know that it is endemic to Texas?
I had not been able to find it before, mine is not blooming yet, but looking forward to it.
This lovely plant grows in west Texas, in the Chisos mountains and it is great for butterflies and hummers.

Gorgeous flowers! Your blue noid is Leadwort...aka hardy plumbago.
Placenteria,
Your gardens are amazing. I hope I can get mine to look half this good next year. After the hurricane I have much more sun in my shady back beds!
Bonnie
Josephine, I first saw Mountain Sage will hiking in the Chisos Mtns and fell in love immediately. It is a late bloomer, so don't be surprised if yours doesn't bloom for another few weeks (mine bloomed early this year).
Carla
Yes, my Regla always blooms only after i have given up all hope. :-)
Broncbuster,
If you get any seeds from your bush morning glory I would love to trade for some seeds. My seed list is rather short. (actually it's nonexistent at the moment.) I don't know the names of some of the plants. I do have 3 kinds of daisies, some lavender butterfly bush, red salvia, maybe some Texas Star Hibiscus, mixed zinnias, Texas redbud, and hopefully more later if I can figure out how to harvest the seeds. (I am new at this gardening!)
Bonnie
Bonnie- if I get seeds, they're yours!
Carla- I'm still waiting on the Salvia regla you gave me last spring to bloom. Yours looks gorgeous!
Don't give up on the Regla, TJ, it really is a late bloomer. But well worth the wait. :-)
Carla
